“You were on to something with having me look into the curse, Lindsey. I found the original text,” Wesley says idly.
“And?” Lindsey asks.
“It has a bit of a loophole.”
“Curses don’t have loopholes, Wesley. And I was there, I know what it says,” Angel says, slightly put out they’d been looking into it behind his back.
“Well you forgot the caveat. The one where you lose your soul only if you find true happiness with a woman.”
“You mean…” Lindsey says, still processing what Wesley said.
“You two can be perfectly happy together and Angel will still keep his soul.”
“You sure about that Wesley?” Angel asks, remembering his mistaken translation confusing life with death.
“Positive. This is not like the Shanshu thing.”
Angel grins. “In that case, Lindsey and I will be upstairs. Don’t bother us unless its the apocalypse."
