Day 1
My first day working at One Autumn Leaf coffee shop.
I'm in need of a huge sum of money for printing my comics to sell them in the next BL comic convention.
Got this job through Sis Su and Sis Chu when they dropped by my school two days ago. Sis Su told me that her brother opened a small coffee shop, and wouldn't mind some helping hand. So I happily accepted her offer.
Today after school, Sis Su and Sis Chu brought me to the place. It was closer than I thought, only four bus stops away from my dorm. The shop isn't that big, but kinda cute in its own way.
The main focus is the owner, Mr. Ye Xiu.
For someone who is approaching 30 (he is 28), he looks hella Young! And Cute! Like, really, really cute!
He has a black hair that contrasts with his pale skin. His golden eyes are filled with kindness. Over all, he gives off an aura of your neighbor gentle big brother, which is exactly what he is to Sis Su.
After some talking, it was decided that I'll work the evening shift on weekdays. Then I insisted that I'll work full-time on weekends too. At first, Mr. Ye didn't approve of it. He was worried that I won't have time for myself or my friends. He is so kind! Worrying about me even though we just met! Still, I really need money. In the end, with Sis Su help, I was able to convince him.
Since it was my first day, Mr. Ye told me to just observe how things around here worked. So I just sat at my table with Sis Su and Sis Chu, enjoyed tea and cakes (made by Mr. Ye) while chatting.
I told Sis Su and Sis Chu that Mr. Ye baking is really delicious. But then they looked at each other and smiled. Then they told me that foods here are indeed delicious, but they didn't talk about the same kind of foods I was talking about. They said when the time comes, I'll understand it.
Wonder what they meant by that...
