my stupid, hot stepbrother | t.k.

Summary:

"Bro, you kissed your brother!?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Step-brother."

Where Taehyung and Jungkook are stepbrothers, yet there may or may not be a little more than just "brotherly" love.

Notes:

I don't know if stepfamily counts as incest, but if you are uncomfortable with incest or stepfamily "incest", then I suggest you leave and read another fanfiction. Other than that, this will be a crack, smutty, fluffy, and possibly angsty book of taekook. So, hopefully, you enjoy!

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Chapter Text

"Bro, you kissed your brother!?"

Taehyung rolled his eyes. "Step-brother."

Where Taehyung and Jungkook are stepbrothers, yet there may or may not be a little more than just "brotherly" love.

*

Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook were both really popular at Converse Highschool. They both were athletic jocks, passionate in football, and they made great friends. The one thing they had in common the most, was that they both hated each other's guts. They were rivals when it came to football, popularity, academics,—they were enemies when it came to anything. Whatever it was, they were willing to cut off a leg to just beat the other. So, overall, they hated each other. But that sort of had to come to an end when their single parents decided to marry.

All of the sudden, Jungkook's mother became a Kim, and he despised that last name so greatly; but his mother was now claimed by the Kim's, so he guessed he'd better calm his anger at the syllable of "Kim". And there was nothing Taehyung loved more than seeing Jungkook in defeat. However, both of their parents did not want to tolerate one second of immature fighting or arguing or hate between their sons, so it was pretty much hell for both Jungkook and Taehyung to be nice to each other.

They even had to be kind to each other at school, since their parents had threatened That if they heard them doing anything possibly violent to each other at school, they would ground them and sit them in a corner together. And God only knows how horrible that would be.

So, Jungkook just had to comply with moving into the Kim's mansion; he had to suppress his giddy excitement when he saw how large the house actually was. The Kim's had lots of money, and that seemed like an understatement to Jungkook when he had explored even more of the house. They even had a trampoline room! When Jungkook had finally finished unpacking his things in his own, personal bedroom, he thought back to the amount of money that the Kim's had. Jungkook assumed that his mother only married Taehyung's father for the money, but considering how happy and in-love they looked together, Jungkook had to ignore his assumption.

The boy had no idea how this "family" would possibly work out. He and Taehyung had absolutely nothing in common! Well, except for football and popularity and doing academically well, but other than that, they were polar opposites! See, Jungkook had dark brown hair and chocolate brown eyes, plump pink lips and smooth, milky skin, and Taehyung had messy blonde hair kept in place by whatever color bandana, icy blue eyes, dark thin lips and tan skin. Sure, Jungkook could see that Taehyung was a little good-looking, but just that tiny bit.

Jungkook was absolutely for sure that he was way hotter than Taehyung, but he'd have to check with the schoolgirls for that fact. Anyway, since they totally looked different, Jungkook had no idea how people would believe they're brothers! Even if he knew that wasn't how stepbrothers worked. But maybe Jungkook felt glad that people wouldn't want to believe they're step-brothers. Who would want to be the slightest bit related to Kim Taehyung?

Also, they had completely different hobbies and goals in life,—which Jungkook didn't know exactly why that was a reason to strengthen the differences between him and Taehyung, but he felt good knowing he knew what the differences were between them. Jungkook was artistic and talented when it came to arts and literature, and he played video games when he had the time to.

Taehyung would always play basketball whenever he could, and God forbid the many, many certain types of magazines and posters Jungkook had seen in Taehyung's room. And don't ask why Jungkook was even in Taehyung's room the day he moved in! He was just checking out how his new "brother" furnished and took care of his own bedroom,—which wasn't very cleanly.

Jungkook sighed in defeat when he collapsed back on his bed. That day was his first day and night at the Kim's mansion, and he would have to live his entire life their until college. And that doesn't seem so bad, but when it comes to Taehyung, it's life-ruining. It almost made Jungkook glad when Taehyung poked his stupid head into his room to remind him that the older hated him just as much as Jungkook hated him, so they were in an agreement; only be nice to each other in front of their parents, but afterwards, they will not associate with each other at all. So, it was settled. Kim Taehyung and Jeon Jungkook will never be friends or best friends or even brothers.

And maybe if Taehyung wasn't so hot and if Jungkook wasn't so effortlessly cute, they would've kept their promises on that agreement. Just maybe. But who could resist?
