Yuuei's Rehab Program for Troubled teens!

Summary:

Teya didn't mean to get caught. She thought that the police weren't that fast, so she did what she and her friends do.
Illegal Heroism.
Well, it's mostly just seeing who's using Trigger, but sometimes (ok, a lot of the time) they have to take down the villains using Trigger because they just checked them and then they used it and the pros haven't arrived yet-
Anyway. Now Teya Kashoku is going to "Yuuei's rehabilitation program for troubled teens!" or some bullshit. Oh boy. This is gonna be a long year.

Notes:

So, here's the information on Teya, my oc!

Teya Kashoku
-16
-Quirk: Light; she can shoot powerful beams of light out of her palms! The power of it depends on how much light she's absorbed. She can also turn the light into weapons like swords and knives.

Work Text:

"Teya! Go!"

"Wha- Koichi! Wait! Where are you going?"

"Don't worry about me, GO!"

"What do you mean?"

"Teya! C'mon! We gotta go if we don't wanna get arrested!" Pop yells out.

"Wai- Koichi! Koichi!"

---------------------

Dammit, it's that dream again, Teya thinks. The dream of the last time she saw her friends. She stares at the ceiling of her dorm room. She shouldn't have to be here. She should be out, getting trigger users with her friends. Not stuck at Yuuei's "Rehab Facility for Troubled Youth". She's not troubled. She's a hero, she does what she does to help people, not for fame, or money, or whatever it is most people become heroes for.

And yet, she's still here. You'd think Eraser would've come to see her by now, but no, he hasn't. No one's come to see her.

And no one will.

Because no one cares.

God, she needs to stop with this “teen angst” bullshit. That’s not her job.

4:48 am

Fuck. She got exactly 2 hours and 5 minutes of sleep.

Might as well grab some coffee and use the bathroom while she’s up.

---------------------

Shouta is having the dream again. The 4 vigilantes being detained. None of them deserve this. They’re young, they had their whole lives ahead of them, and yet, they threw it all away. But why? That’s something Shouta will never understand and has never understood. How these young people threw their lives away for the good of others. Why? Why do they throw away their family, their careers, and their livelihood for the sake of others like, like heroes . It’s illogical. It makes no sense.

But a small part of him understands. The urge to help others. The urge to save someone, no matter the cost. It’s the same urge he feels whenever he goes out on patrol. The same urge many other heroes feel.  He understands that with their quirks (or lack thereof), they couldn’t get into a hero program. Except for one, Beam, who he now knows is named Teya Kashoku. She threw away her life when she was 12, and UA is trying to fix the damage she caused. But from what he can hear, it isn’t going great.

No one is allowed to say the named of her criminalized friends. No one is allowed to go near her when she’s practicing her quirk, she’s proven to be quite hostile. He recommended having him or Ingenium try and train her. Nezu refuses.

And that’s that.

And he needs to leave it alone for the sake of his job and his hero license. He needs to, he needs this job, he needs to just let it be-

But the thing is, he can’t. He can’t because they don’t know her as he does, they don't understand her quirk, or how she behaves. They don’t know jack shit about her, they know her name. And her quirk. That’s it. But Shouta knows so much about her, he’s worked with her for almost 4 years, since before he worked at Yuuei.

And he trusts her with his life.

And they don’t trust her at all.
