Why Miyuki Kazuya, Why?

Summary:

Kuramochi tries to find the right method to cheer Miyuki up. The catcher just seemed to be in a bad mood lately and it was driving him insane. He was fully aware that the catcher and pitcher were currently playing hard to get with one another; anybody else would have also seen it as a lover’s quarrel. He was tired of seeing them both act immature, none of them wanted to talk to one another. One child was enough to deal with. Did Miyuki really have to act like another?

Notes:

PLEASE DISREGARD MY TERRIBLE TITLE LOL. -HIDES UNDER COVERS- I don't know what this is, this was all cjoycoolio's FAULT haha I blame her. We have the weirdest but funniest thoughts sometimes. This was totally OOC but alas here is my attempt some crack fanfiction.

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Kuramochi was done with both of them, practice was over and Miyuki was taking off his equipment. Sawamura was standing right next to Kuramochi pouting. He didn't want to know what the heck was going on, the scene just spoke for itself, really but he did know what to do next. He was going to make them look at one another and make up somehow.

Kuramochi grabbed Sawamura by the back of his collar, holding him up and nearly choking the poor boy in the process as he called out to the stupid catcher. "Oi, Miyuki, catch!" and literally swung and tossed the pitcher towards Miyuki. The catcher having very quick reflexes opened his arms and Sawamura. His face landed on Miyuki's chest as he grabbed onto his shoulders out of fear of losing balance. Sawamura didn't know exactly what happened; he just looked up to meet the stupidly gorgeous eyes of Seidou's #1 catcher (more like #1 shitty personality), while continuing to hold on to the strong shoulders (those shoulders have come into Sawamura's mind more often than not, okay?) which also belonged to the infamous Miyuki freakin' Kazuya. They stayed staring at one another for a good minute, no blinking in between.

"Oh god how did we end up in this awkward situation? OH RIGHT IT’S KURAMOCHI-SENPAI’S FAULT! And Miyuki’s staring straight at me…”  Sawamura felt his face getting flushed with heat rising up to his cheeks because he was never good at stare offs to begin with and is he doomed?

Miyuki also kept staring back at Sawamura, contemplating on how they got into this position.

Oh right, Kuramochi just threw Sawamura at me. Wait, he threw him? Hahaha that bastard, I know what he’s trying to do. He’s not getting his way though and it won’t be so easy to make me go at your pace either, Kuramochi. Wait why is Sawamura blushing, is the idiot nervous?” The catcher sighed heavily trying to contemplate on how to break the awkwardness.

Miyuki stared intensely at Sawamura, trying to think of what to even say to break this awkward tension and, “I like bananas.”

He wondered why bananas were the first thing to come to his mind and he totally made an unintentional innuendo in his mind. He totally wanted to give himself a pat on the back for that though because Sawamura's face had come back to life.

“Huh?” Sawamura looked speechless, looking at Miyuki in disbelief; did the catcher just mention liking bananas? His embarrassment quickly washed away and he found himself getting angry. He started violently shaking Miyuki. “Okay what have you done with Miyuki Kazuya, where is he? HUH? YOU'RE NOT MIYUKI!” Sawamura started frantically trying to come up with explanations because... well, Miyuki was known to be a weirdo... but, but-

He also knew there was this thing called the time of the month for females, where they suddenly turned into vicious creatures and was warned to never mess with them during their moments of hardships at least that’s what Wakana always told him, minus the vicious creatures part but Wakana can be vicious sometimes... Maybe Miyuki was going through a similar cycle? Maybe Miyuki was turning into something else. But wait, didn’t that only apply to women? He was truly confused and maybe he needed to study his anatomy. The catcher only blankly stared at him without responding to Sawamura's question.

Miyuki was at least relieved that Sawamura was back to his idiotic self instead of acting like a blushing maiden. He decided his work here was done and nonchalantly excused himself. “This is boring. I’m bored.” And he dropped Sawamura because yes, he was still keeping Sawamura upright, he dropped the pitcher right on the floor and Sawamura landed face first. Miyuki just walked away looking for something else to entertain himself with. He knew he could always get the pitcher in a flustered mood, he didn't need Kuramochi's help for that but he kind of wanted to turn around and tell Kuramochi to suck it because he wasn't going to be his random soap opera.

Kuramochi’s eyes widened in shock, he couldn’t believe what he just witnessed and what he heard for that matter. Was Miyuki trying to throw him off? Miyuki Kazuya just dropped Sawamura flat on his face. He thought Sawamura Eijun was his weakness, maybe he was mistaken. “HYAHA! Wow I guess I was wrong, I thought you would be the perfect thing to brighten the shitty glasses' day especially having you in his arms but I guess you just bored him.” Kuramochi snickered some more to himself and walked off amused at what just occurred.

Sawamura on the other hand was too dumbfounded to even complain about the pain on his face just received from the drop. He got up off the floor and dusted off his uniform along with his face, spitting out some dirt. He was utterly convinced Miyuki Kazuya was going through his man cycle (not womanly) and he would let Wakana know the discovery he made as soon as possible.

Notes:

Okay I'm gonna run away now. There was my horrible attempt at trying to be funny. Well, this whole fic was actually an inside joke my friend and I had so I apologize if you didn't find it enjoyable. If you read this anyway, thank you very much!
