It was a good weather, leaves falling from the trees, sun shining brightly, wind blowing the leaves from the road. It was Jimin's 1st day as a sophomore, Fine Arts student in Seoul National University. He decided to go visit his younger brother Hanbin in the football field where he practices for the try outs as a varsity in the University. As he approaches the field, he'd seen so many students practicing there. Despite being shy and having difficulty in socializing with people, he needs to see his dongsaeng.
He prepared lunch, packs a lot of food that is actually good enough for a two person since he knows his brother so well, being tired from the practice, can eat all the food he brought for him. Jimin likes to cook, which he got from his Mom. It was their favorite bonding together, hanging inside the kitchen, preparing different cuisine for his brother and Father to try.
As he approaches near the entrance of the field, the wind that pass through him causes his beanie to fell on the grass. On the other side, as the wind blows, enough to cause sound from the whipping leaves from the trees that draw his attention at the entrance of the football field as he see a blonde, angelic, beautiful boy walking towards them. His heart pounding so hard, butterflies flying around his stomach, eyes not dettaching from the beautiful creature. He, Jungkook then realizes, "Is this what they called 'love at first sight?'" Hanbin on the other hand, notices his brother coming over them, decided to take a break and runs to his brother.
Jimin slowly getting close to them inch by inch, steps getting smaller, getting nervous a he is not used to be surrounded by plenty of boys, especially the athletic body looking ones. Hanbin reaches his Hyung on the mid lateral of the field, giving Jimin a warm smile "Hyung, you came early" Jimin handed him the packed foods he made, observing the surrounding, he notices some curious eyes looking at them. He then glance back to Hanbin "I know you're very busy practicing, I could not let my favorite dongsaeng starve" Jimin said jokingly. "Yah Hyung, of course, Im your one and only brother" Jimin giggles, enough for Jungkook to hear the sound that travels toward them. He thinks its the best sound he has ever heard and will do anything to hear the sound again.
Jungkook got curious on what they were talking about. He sees Hanbin reaching for the packed foods that were hanging on the hand of the beautiful boy. Jungkook then narrowed his eyes as he sees Hanbin holding and caressing the hand of Jimin. On the other side, not far from the group of Jungkook, Hanbin noticed that there is a bruise, or probably a burn on his Hyung pinky finger "Hyung, you're always so clumsy. Am I not reminding you enough to be careful all the time? I wonder why Im younger than you" Jimin frowns, snatching his hand slowly from Hanbin "You brat! Can't you be grateful that I made lunch for you?" Hanbin sighs "I'm always grateful for having a wonderful Hyung like you, but please be extra careful, not only in cooking, yeah Hyung?" The older smiles, touched by his brother's worries and concerns. Hanbin's always been so sweet. He is the happy pill in their family, always bring laughter and smiles inside their home.
Despite being silly and annoying brother( sometimes), Jimin loves Hanbin so much. Jimin always made sure that his brother is always in good place and condition. Jimin doesn't mind the judgemental eyes thinking negative about their relationship because of the affection that they showed towards each other. Its what their parents thaut them, since its only the two of them, they should love one another. Of course what they felt towards each other is a hundred percent love, but it was purely a 'brother's love'.
Jimin's heart swells at his brother's words. Jimin has a fragile heart, He easily gets hurt and easily gets happy even by just the smallest things. He has low self confidence that's why he's not fond on interracting with new people. "I missed you Hnabin-ah. Im so glad you chose this University for your chosen career." Its been a year that they haven't seen each other since Jimin moved out from their house for college and even though they have seen each other 5 days ago as Hanbin lived together with Jimin in a dorm, The older's not skipping any moment to say these affectionate words towards his brother.
"I missed you too Hyung. Have you eaten? We can share the lunch you made" Jimin shook his head "I already ate, and since its my first day, I woudn't want to miss my first class." Hanbin then realizes that his friends is waiting for him so that they could eat lunch together. "Would you atleast want me to introduce you to my new friends? Jimin gives a nod and they proceeded towards the center of the field where Jungkook and the other players are. "Hey Kook, Hobi hyung, Namjoon hyung, this is my older brother, Jimin." Said Hanbin, introducing the older with confidence. Jungkooks heart relaxes at the information he just heard 'brother'.
They bowed their heads and smile with each other "Its nice meeting you all" Jimin said slightly blushing. Jungkook's head seems floating as he sees the boy's face closer and hears his voice clearer. He has not mistaken that the older has also angelic voice matching his perfect face. "Its nice to meeting you too Jimin-ah" said the other two. Junkook is still staring at Jimin, eyes full, not blinking.
Hanbin and Jungkook had been classmates when they were in middle school. They only got closer during their Senior year, having to choose the same University and path of career. They click on may things, such as interests, sports, hobbies and also having a good apetite. During their final year in High School, Jungkook is always at Hanbin's, playing video games and sometimes sleeping over just to play their favorite game in Xbox. Jungkook just then, knows that Hanbin has an older brother, but he didn't know that Jimin is this beautiful.
Jungkook came back to reality as Jimin spoke "It nice meeting you again, I still have my class to attend. Goodluck and be careful while practing. Bye Hanbin, see you later" and after that, Jimin stormed out immediately as he still can sense some eyes looking at him from different players inside the field.
Jungkook still has his mind in different space. "You okay Kook-ah? Namjoon said. Jungkook still dazing out not hearing Namjoon, until he tripped, nearly falling on to the grass. Fortunately, Hanbin caught him. "Careful Jungkook, you've been spacing out for a while now" Jungkook got tensed at the question "I'm just thinking about something..." something beautiful he said in his mind. They continued walking until they settled under a tree, enough for them to get covers from the sun.
They finished practicing and make their goodbyes leaving Jungkook a smile on his face. It will going to be a long journey Jungkook, saying to himself. His going to pursue Jimin. He has never been this determined in His whole 19 years of existence.
