Chapter 1: It's a win-win situation

Chapter Text

Katsuki completed the task set in five minutes. He put his pencil down and looked at the board. The teacher had heard the pencil click on the table somehow, and began making his way over to the blonde.

“Finished, Bakugou?” Midoriya sensei asked him quietly. Katsuki just shoved his work into the teachers hands. Midoriya took the paper and took it back to his desk and began marking it. Katsuki was weary of his teacher, there was something off about him. First off his hearing; which was ridiculously good. He didn’t really radiate dominance and power, but he had the most control over a class Katsuki had ever seen.

No one ever disrespected him after the first week of having him. Whenever someone would snicker, or make a snide remark about how young or bubbly or shaky he was, Midoriya’s whole demeanor would change. One of his classmates, Kaminari, would always try to get the last word in. but Midoriya just had to give him this look and it shut him up right away. Bakugou learned to just shut up and get on with the work.

Another thing that annoyed Bakugou was that once in a while, at the end of lesson, he would ask this one student to stay behind. Uraraka had a similar personality to Midoriya, and it seemed strange to him that he needed to talk with her so much. Normally Bakugou didn’t care, but because it was Uraraka it rubbed him the wrong way. She was a strong girl, Bakugou needed to know that nothing weird was going on. As it began to happen more frequently, Bakugou noticed a routine.

He noticed Uraraka wore a lot more scarves and turtlenecks to lesson and Bakugou connected the dots. If he exposed Midoriya for having a relationship with one of his students he would be fucking ecstatic. The look on that shitty nerds face would be heaven. So, one day, Bakugou decides to find out what the fucks going on.

-

“Alright class, complete your homework for next week! Have a good day!” Midoriya smiled at his class as they began to pack away. Bakugou was zipping his bag as he heard it.

“Uraraka, could you hang behind for a second?” Bakugou smirked at the hush words of his teacher. He swung his bag over his shoulder and made his way to the door with the rest of his students. The door shut behind him and he made his way down the hallway. Bakugou stopped at his locker and fiddle with the lock, letting time pass. He decided to put his bag in it so nothing could get in his way.

He strode back to his classroom and didn’t hesitate to barge into the room. He stepped in and smirked at the two in an embrace. However that quickly changed the dread as he took in his teachers face.

Midoriya had one hand on her head and the other on her shoulder, facing each other. Bakugou couldn't see her face, only her surprisingly relaxed form. His teacher had bloodshot eyes which were glazed over with a look of hunger, no other emotion came through. Bakugou’s eyes widened at the sight of blood dripping down his chin and onto her shoulder. It took a moment for Bakugou to regain control of his voice.

“What the fuck is this.” Bakugou ignored the way his voice shook slightly, and continued glaring at the monster in front of him. Midoriya just blinked twice, and slowly moved a hand from her shoulder to the desk to grab a tissue. He wiped his mouth and Uraraka’s shoulder before pocketing the tissue. Bakugou glared at his every movement. Midoriya cleared his throat and shut his eyes for a moment, before looking directly into Bakugou’s eyes. The gaze he gave him was completely different, much more calm and emotionless now.

“Bakugou, I can explain.” he said slowly and clearly. Bakugou still stood his ground, shoulders hunched at he watched his teacher turn to Uraraka. He looked directly into her eyes, “Uraraka, forget this happened.” his eyes dilated, “go home and put a plaster on your rash.” Bakugou watched in astonishment as the girl nonchalantly walked out the door, expressionless. Before he could react Midoriya had him slammed against a wall and both hand either side of his head. He looked like a deer caught in headlights as he stared into Midoriya’s big, dead eyes.

“You won’t remember any of this, after class you went straight home.” Bakugou just continued to unsteadily hold eye contact and gradually watched dread seep into his teachers face at the realisation it didn’t work.

Midoriya’s eyes frantically searched Bakugou's frame, eyes landing on a watch on his wrist. He went to grab it, only to yank his hand away in pain. Bakugou had no fucking clue what the fuck just happened.

“Would you mind explaining to me what the fuck is going on before I go and get your ass fired?” Bakugou spat, pushing himself off the wall. Midoriya, slightly hyperventilating, slowly looked up to meet his eyes. He looks scared.

“Please, Kacchan, I wasn’t hurting her I just- I need to do that.” Bakugou looked at him expectantly, scowling at the use of nickname. “Listen, I’m kind of a vampire, and I know this looks wrong but I swear to you I’m only drinking what’s necessary, she never goes under the average blood level-”

“I don't fucking care.” Bakugou interrupted him muttering. It didn’t matter how careful he was, she was still unaware of the activities going on. There was no way he could let this go on under his nose. “I’m telling you right fucking now, that was the last time you touch her.”

Midoriya looked at him like a lost puppy and nodded. “Okay, I promise I won’t, but please don't tell anyone, I really don’t want to lose this job.” he looked down. Bakugou just clicked his tongue.

“How’re you gonna survive then?” he demanded. Midoriya just fiddled with his collar.
“I guess I’ll just… find someone else…” before he could trail off, Bakugou was yelling at him again.

“No! You’re not fucking drinking someone’s blood nonconsensually, can’t you see how wrong that is, shitty nerd?” Midoriya was extremely uncomfortable now, his job was on the line.

“So… with consent, it’d be okay?” Bakugou nodded his head like ‘duh’. Midoriya thought for a moment before asking, “what’s your blood type?”

Bakugou glared at him. “No way, Deku.” the insult stung Midoriya slightly, but he persisted.

“Then what else am I supposed to do? If I tell someone they’d freak out.” Bakugou thought for a real hard moment then. If, hypothetically, he did become Midoriya’s fucking blood bank, that means he basically had control over shitty Deku’s life and no one else would get hurt. Yeah, it’s a win-win, he could do this.

“B type.”

Chapter Text

“You’re B type?” Bakugou nodded. He saw his teachers eyes flash red, he scowled.

“Is that okay?” he growled.

“Yeah, that’s my favourite.” Bakugou felt weird after hearing those words from Midoriya. He brushed it off and continued.

“Well? What’s the fucking plan? A once a week freak show?” Bakugou angrily questioned. Midoriya looked up at him and leaned against his desk.

“Actually… it’s more like every other day. I could go a week though, but that really isn’t pleasant… for anyone.” he looked away and scratched his neck. Bakugou shuffled on his feet.

“Just fucking tell me which days,” Bakugou growled.

“Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays here at 4:30, please.” Bakugou just grunted and started heading for the exit. He ignored the goodbye from his teacher and headed home. It was Wednesday today. He groaned and went straight to bed, trying to mentally prepare himself for Friday.

-

Thursday dragged on but as soon as Friday rolled around, it was suddenly 4:25 and Midoriya was wrapping up his lesson. Bakugou was surprised he didn’t act any different, considering one of his students knew his secret. He heard chairs scraping on the floor and began to pack up as well. He looked over to Midoriya only to see him sitting at his desk marking papers. He wasn’t too sure whether to stick around and wait for everyone to leave or walk to his locker and back. He decided on the former as he didn’t want Deku thinking he was cowering out or something.

Once the classroom was cleared and the door slammed shut, the reality of the situation dawned on Bakugou. He was about to get his blood sucked by a vampire, by choice, as in teeth-piercing-his-skin kind of bite. He instantly calmed his breathing and told himself to chill the fuck out, it’s Deku, everything’s fucking fine.

His eyes instantly moved to his teacher's form, which opened a drawer to pull out a box of tissues. Bakugou gulped.

“Okay,” Midoriya interrupted the loud silence, “you ready?” he looked at Bakugou, who strode over to him.

“Fucking ‘course I am, let’s get this over with.” he glared at Deku’s nose, unable to meet his dark eyes.

“Could you uh, take your shirt off? It’s easier like that and you won't get any blood on it.” Midoriya smiled at him and Bakugou just ‘tch’ed and began to unbutton his shirt. He removed one arm and let his shirt hang off his left slide, slightly uncomfortable being the only one shirtless.

Deku took a step closer to him and then gestured to a desk, “I’d recommend you lean on that since this is the first time. You might get a bit light-headed.” Midoriya scratched the back of his neck and let out a nervous laugh, “and I can't really reach you stood up.” Bakugou just silently moved to the desk and perched on the end, seemingly relaxed. But as Midoriya walked towards him and bumped his knees, he tensed up. Midoriya noticed this and put his hands on Bakugou’s knees in attempts to calm his, actually having the opposite effect.

Midoriya tilted his head, forcing Bakugou to meet his eyes. “We don't have to do this. You can just take off that watch and you won't remember a thing. And you can carry on like normal.” Bakugou couldn't believe was he was hearing. As if he’d go back to being ignorant and let someone else suffer. For all he knew, he could be Midoriya’s unknowing blood bank.

“No fucking way, freak. Just get it over with, it’s not a fucking big deal.” but it was, and Bakugou places his sweaty palms on the table either side of him as Midoriya slide himself between his knees.

“Okay, good, I’m doing it now then.” Midoriya raised his right hand to cup the side of Bakugou’s face, wordlessly asking him to tilt his head, which he did. He moved closer and rested his other hand on his shoulder as he leaned in. for a moment, all that was heard was their muted breaths. Then, Bakugou could feel sharp teeth graze his skin and he jolted slightly. Midoriya just continued to lightly brush his teeth against the junction, and before Bakugou could yell at him to get on with it he bit down.

Bakugou clenched his eyes shut and let out a strained cry. His hands instinctively went to Midoriya’s hips, seemingly needing something to grab onto. Before he had time to adjust he felt that mouth start to suck and damn that didn’t feel bad.

Bakugou let out a shaky breath as he adjusted to the weird sensation. It had only been a few seconds but it felt like an hour. He began to wonder how long this would last, how much blood is he going to take?

He felt Deku sink he teeth in further and winced. His head was spinning and he started to feel a bit dizzy. Before his eyes could flutter shut Midoriya slowly released his bite and pulled away. Bakugou weakly looked at him through glazed eyes, only to be met with a face full of blood lust and desire. He couldn't get his brain and mouth to work and form any words, so he just stared at Midoriya, both panting heavily.

“Are you okay?” Midoriya spoke softly. Bakugou didn’t reply, his vice grip still on Deku’s waist. Midoriya let his hands slide off of Bakugou, to which he mirrored and placed his hands back on the table. His teacher wordlessly made his way back to his desk, and for some reason Bakugou felt uneasy, not having him there. Once Midoriya wiped his mouth, he walked over to Bakugou and with deft fingers began to wipe at his neck.

Bakugou grabbed the tissue and scowled at Midoriya, “I can do it myself, Deku.” Midoriya just nodded and sat at his desk looking extremely contempt. Bakugou was pissed at the sight. “What the fuck? Are you fucking high or something? What’s with that shitty face.”

Midoriya just sighed and stared at the ceiling, “that tastes really good,” he had a slightly dopey smile on his face, one that Bakugou wanted to punch. He clenched his fists.

He shook his head, “whatever…” he looked down at his watch, and remembered what Midoriya said earlier. “What’s with you and this watch anyway?” he demanded.

Midoriya spun his chair slightly to face Bakugou. “I forgot what the stuff is called but I can't compel you. Holy water or something- Vervain!” he suddenly yelled, but then he cleared his throat after seeing the confused look Bakugou was sporting. "vervain is a herb that harms vampires." Bakugou nodded in understanding. Why would Deku say that? He could clearly use that against him, as if he didn't have enough leverage over him already. Deku continued, “who gave you it?” Bakugou narrowed his eyes at the question.

“Why would I tell you?” he snapped. Midoriya just shrugged his shoulders.

“Didn’t think you would.” he said nonchalantly, before continuing, “I just wonder if they knew it was vampire repellent.” Bakugou thought for a moment. His mother bought him his watch. Did she know about vampires? He didn’t think so, and he certainly wasn’t going to straight up ask her. He shook his head. He’ll think about that later.

“Tch, whatever.” Bakugou got up to leave, but a strong wave of dizziness hit him hard. He stumbled a bit, but before he could catch himself there was a pair of hands at his shoulders, steadying him. His eyes went wide at the shock of seeing Deku appear so quickly. He weakly pushed him away, trying to regain his balance.

“You should sit down, Kacchan.” Bakugou wanted to retaliate, but his oncoming headache persuaded him to comply. He brought a hand up to his face and felt how warm it was. Footsteps retreated and he peeked through his fingers to see Deku rustling through his bag. Bakugou looked away as Deku made his way towards him, a bottle of water in hand.

“Here,” Deku held out the bottle, to which Bakugou grabbed and opened it. He took small sips, his head still spinning. “It’ll get easier! That is... If you still want to do this.” Deku looked sheepishly away, scratching the back of his neck. Bakugou scowled in confusion, how can this guy feel guilty? He sighed, he kind of understood that Deku had no choice in the matter. Had it always been like this for him?

“Have you always been a vampire?” Bakugou couldn’t stop himself from asking. Deku perked up at that.

“No actually! I’ve been a vampire for 9 years.” he pulled up a seat and perched himself opposite Bakugou, “my whole my mother and father were turned when I was 3, so I was raised by vampires. They wanted me to join them, so when I turned 18 I had the choice to live a human life or become immortal. My parents seemed pretty happy, and they explained how to live without killing people. It was a no brainer for me, I was more familiar with vampire culture than human culture anyway.” he finished. Bakugou looked at him in astonishment. No wonder he looked so young.

He must’ve wondered that out loud because Deku answered his question, “ I was born in 1992, and I turned when I was 18 in 2010…” Deku quickly counted something on his fingers, “Which makes me 27 years old!” he said triumphantly. Bakugou just rolled his eyes.

They continued to talk for another 20 minutes until Bakugou’s dizziness completely faded. He got up and headed for the door, mumbling thanks for the water. Before he could leave Deku called out to him.

“Wait!” Bakugou turned to meet his eyes with a bored expression. Deku gulped and spoke, “Thank you for doing this again, it means a lot. I really hated doing it to Uraraka-chan without her knowledge.” there was a long pause after that. “I’ll see you tomorrow then, Kacchan.”

Bakugou thought for a moment before replying. “See ya, Deku.” he took one last look at his teacher before pulling the door open and waltzing to his locker. God, he’d have to do that again in a couple days. He tried to convince himself that he wasn’t looking forward to it.

B-)

Notes:

If you haven't watched vampire diaries, it's just that vampires can compel humans. However, if a human has vervain on them, which is a herb, they can't be compelled. Bakugou's watch is laced with vervain or something so it repels vampires lol.
