Chapter Text
Izuku stands on the edge of the school roof.
“I thought I found a way...”
The door bursts open as he steps closer.
“I thought I found a way out.”
“DEKU!”
“But you never go away...”
Katsuki yanks his body away from the edge.
“So I guess I gotta stay now.”
Inko yells at Katsuki. Izuku can hear it from his room.
“Oh I hope someday I’ll make it out of here.”
“HE COULD HAVE DIED BECAUSE OF YOU!”
“Even if it takes all night or a hundred years.”
Izuku folds his arms on the desk in his room, letting his head rest in the cradle it makes. He sleeps there that night.
“Need a place to hide but I can’t find one near.”
Izuku holes himself in his room.
“Wanna feel alive outside, I can fight my fear.”
Izuku starts going back to school. Everyone pities him.
“Isn’t it lovely, all alone?”
Katsuki is abandoned. No one wants to know the kid who almost drove another to suicide.
“Heart made of glass, my mind of stone.”
Izuku is silent. He refuses to talk. Katsuki cries.
“Tear me to pieces, skin and bone.”
Izuku forgives Katsuki who cries on his shoulder.
“Hello. Welcome home.”
