“This door leads to another world, papa?” “Yes, my boy. Every weekend, it will lead to another world and many customers came to eat our foods.”
“Are they scary? The people from the other world?” “Yes, maybe, it depends on you tho. But don’t worry, after they taste the foods here, they immediately become a soft hearted creatures.”
“Will I continue this restaurant soon, papa?” “Not now, but yes, when your time and my time comes, you will take a good care of Midoriya’s.”
“My boy, promise me you will only tell this secret to the ones that you absolutely trust, and keep it from the open world okay?” “Okay papa, I promise.”
Musutafu, Year 20XX
In the busy roadway of Musutafu, a greenette boy looks like still 18 years old, his name is Midoriya Izuku. After graduated from high school, Izuku decided that he will continues his family restaurant called Midoriya’s. His father, Midoriya Hisashi, has put Izuku’s name on as the new owner of the restaurant right after he passed away because of his weak heart.
“Midoriya!!”
Izuku turned to sees his best friend from high school, a yellow haired with black lightning on, Kaminari Denki. “Kaminari-kun? What are you doing here?” Denki stoped in front of Izuku, and took a deep breath. “I heard that you’re going to continue your father restaurant, so I wanna help out.”
Izuku was flattered, but also a bit conflicted as well, you see the Midoriya’s has a secret. Every weekend, Midoriya’s front door will connect to another world full with magic and beast. Izuku can’t tell his friend bout that because it's a family secret.
“Kaminari-kun, you don’t have to help out y'know, beside aren’t you going to where- T University?” “Well, I actually didn’t get passed the test, so heh...” Denki shrugged, feeling a bit embarrassed. Izuku though about it, he then looked at him “Promise whatever you will see later, you won’t tell anyone?” Denki look at him confused, but nods his head.
Opens on Saturday-Sunday in Other Worlds
Denki and Izuku has wear their uniform, and already started to clean the place. Izuku prepared all the ingredients for every dishes in their menu, while Denki cleans the tables, prepared the drinks, and snacks.
When the clock hit 8 a.m., Midoriya’s is open.
Lava Kingdom, Other World
A roar was heard from the gray red sky, and then a red dragon flew down from the cloud. There was also a man, with blonde ash spikey hair, he wore orange cape, riding the crimson drake.
“How far is this thing, shit hair?!” the blonde man screamed at the dragon furiously. “Just a bit down further, no worries your majesty” the dragon chuckled, as it flew down into the firey red woods. Both then land on an open area, right in the middle of the woods, and there was a door. The door is brown, with name craved on it, said “Midoriya’s”.
“Here it is! From behind this door, there is freakin food smell! And Gods! Those are delicious smell!!” the drake said proudly, and has drool from his mouth. It then transformed into a human, with red tall hair, and his teeth are jagged like shark. “Kirishima Eijirou! This is just a stupid fucking door!! There is nothing behind it!” the blonde claimed.
“No no, your majesty, king of Dragon Barbarian, Bakugou Katsuki. I am 100% sure, there is something bout this door. Don’t you feel the teleporting magic surrounded this door?” Eijirou said, pointing at the door. True, Katsuki feels there slightly ancient magic attached to this particular door, but he can’t pin point what kind of ancient magic it was.
“Well? What are you waiting for, brains hair?! Fucking blast the door will'ya?!” “Well not really blast the door, but okay” Eijirou said, opening the mysterious door.
The other side
“Okay, I get it why I should keep these a secret, but holy lord, aren’t these people are not dangerous...” Denki said, looking at their customers from another world. There are many people in there, not just humans, but also some other creatures that has the same intelligent as humans.
“Don’t worry, Kaminari-kun, if any of these people attacked us, they have broke the contract that has been put with my late ancestors and their God” Izuku said while making what seems like pork cutlet with egg. “One katsudon up” “Aye, sir” Denki picked the finished dish and brought it to a lion looking customer.
Then, the door was open by a red haired man, and behind him was an angry looking blondie. Denki hurriedly greet the two, “Welcome to Midoriya’s, two people only yes?” Denki smiled, but also eyed the red haired man, 'He looks so handsome' he though dreamily.
“Uuh, what?” and apparently pretty dumb as well. The blondie looked at Denki, glared at him and looked around the place. “The fuck is this place?” “This is a restaurant you see, please come inside I’ll lead you two to your seats”
Denki said pointing to the two to follow him, Katsuki scoffed then pulled out his blade from the sheath. “I am Bakugou Katsuki, lord of Dragon Barbarian, I don’t know where the fuck you guys came from, but get your useless fucking door out of the forest in my kingdom!”
Denki raised his hands up, terrified, and the other customers stood up ready to fight the barbarian. “Dear customers! Please calm down” Izuku stepped out of the kitchen, calming their customers down and faced the barbarian lord. “Sir lord Bakugou, please put away your weapon from my staff” “Or what, twerp? You don’t have the right to order me around” Izuku glared at him but tried at least, “I don’t but surely you don’t want to anger your God would you?” Katsuki stiffed, a God brought that door this world for what? “Don’t fuck with me, broccoli! You fucking put a door in my forest!” Izuku shook his head, “The door will appear anywhere in your world, lord Bakugou, I have no control of to where the door will be.”
“Bullshit, like I will believe that” “It’s not about you believe it or not, but I assured you that I don’t have magic like you all do, and if you're here to complain bout the door, please leave you disturb my customers” “The fuck-” “Hey Bakubro, come sit will'ya?!” Eijirou waved his hand excitedly, already sat on a seat offered by Denki.
“Shitty hair...” Katsuki growled at him, but sat anyway beside him. Izuku let out a breath of relief, and got back to the kitchen. “Well... Here is your menu” Denki said quickly, and handed two menus to the two mans. Eijirou took it, and gave the other to Katsuki, who took it more like snatched it.
Denki then put down two glass of iced water, and two plates of snacks which are each two slices of toast bread with garlic butter. “Hey fuck face, we haven’t order anything yet!” “Oh no, sir, these are service, you can get free refill for the lemon infused water, but the snacks is free for the first round only”
'Free snacks and water what? These will only make the restaurant goes backrupt, stupid fart faces.’ Katsuki growled staring at the two food items. “Wow! These breads so good! Bakugou try it!” Eijirou said while eating the bread. Katsuki looked at him, then picked up the breads, and bites on it.
Crunch!
“What the fuck?” Katsuki said, staring the bread he just ate. The bread texture is crunchy yet it's not a bad crunch he always gets at his kingdom feast. It is crunchy on the outer side, but soft in the middle, it is so easy to chew on. And the garlic butter adds some flavor that bread lack of, so strong but also gentle garlic taste. Katsuki finished his breads, and drank the infused iced water.
These drink also startled Katsuki, because it's not only cool to ease his sore throat, but the sourness of the lemon raised his appetite, and his mouth felt refreshed. “Ready to order you two?” Denki asked the two, and was happy seeing them enjoyed their snack.
Eijirou looked at him, and though for a bit, “You guys have meat?” “Oh we have lot of meat dishes” Eijirou smirked, but then again though about it, “Well, serve me your best giant meat! I haven’t been able to eat good meats past days you see, so I want your best ones!!” Denki nodded, then show Eijirou a paper, “Then I suggest one of our challenge food, The Giant Steak, it is a 4 kilogram sirloin meat!” Eijirou looked at him confused “Sir-sirloin? Whatever it is, it looks so good, give me one!” “Alright, Giant Steak one, chef!” Denki said loudly to the kitchen and got a reply from Izuku.
“What bout you, sir?” Denki asked looking at Katsuki. Katsuki hummed, not interested in the foods on the menu, he then look at him “Serve me one of your spiciest food then, if it's not spicy enough I won’t pay for it” he growled. “Oh! No worries we have our challenge food for the spiciest one! We have black curry, and I assured you it is the spiciest ones!” 'Black curry....why it sounds familiar?' “Then I’ll have those” “Aye sir, Black curry one!”
Katsuki and Eijirou waited for their food, and Katsuki felt something bout this place, it was like nostalgia, he has been in this place before, but when? His though were disturbed by a sound of thud. He looks at Eijirou side then look at the giant steak, it looks so juicy from outside, and what looks like butter sat on top.
“Oh man, it IS giant!” “Be careful of the plate, it's really hot, enjoy” Denki smiled at them and left. Eijirou mouth is watering, he picked up the fork and knife he got, then start to cut the meat. The meaty aroma filled his nostril, as he cuts the meat, the meat revealed beautifully juicy medium rare cooked meat.
Eijirou then pick a piece with his fork, then bites on it. “Hng!!” Eijirou chewed and startled at how juicy the meat is, he chewed it more and more meat juice filled his mouth. He swallowed it, and chewed on more pieces. “So good! I have never ate such juicy meat before!!” The sauce is not losing either, the sauce is sweet but a bit spicy from pepper, and it brings the juiciness to another level. It's not just adding more flavor, but also ease the heavy meaty taste.
“Sorry for the wait, here is your black curry, sir” Denki said as he place the plate of rice, and on top of the rice was the black curry. Katsuki eyed the curry, 'This looks like Kraken's poison, but... It doesn’t smells like one' Katsuki sniffed at it, and the smell of different chillis and spices attacked his nostril.
Katsuki picked up his spoon, then scoop one full spoon of the rice and curry, hesitantly he brought it into his mouth. “Mmgg!” Katsuki startled, he chewed on it more. The spiciness is out of this world! It was so spicy, he shuts his eyes to hold the pain of the curry.
When he swallowed it, he can taste the delicious curry flavor after the heat. He took another bites, but carefully chewed on it, through the intense firey spiciness, he surely taste the savory curry flavor. “It’s... It’s so good! I have never ate something so spicy but so delicious!!” be took another bite, and then another, until he finished the curry, at the same time Eijirou has finished his steak.
Katsuki could still taste the delicious spice, and it also felt familiar, like he has eaten this dish in the past. He then looked at the chef form on the kitchen, the green boy is also felt familiar. “Hey chef! Have we met before?” Izuku looked at the blondie, and stepped out of the kitchen.
Izuku looked at him, then claps both of his hands, “Yeah! I remember, you were the kid that able to finished my black curry for the first time!!” Izuku claimed, smiling at Katsuki. Then, he remember. His old hag used to brough him to a door in the forest, and they would eat the wonderful foods they were served.
“You were, the curly hair?” “Yep! I’m Midoriya Izuku, if you’re not remember” Izuku said sheepishly at Katsuki. Yea, he was the kid that made the black curry when he was young. Katsuki though maybe when he was 10, his mother has stopped bringing him to the place because of some kingdom invansion they were having back then.
“How is your mother, uuh Mitsuki-san doing?” Izuku asked, Katsuki then looked at his glass, “She’s fine, maybe forgot bout this place” he said. After that, they paid them each foods for 2 silver coins. “Are you guys sure? For such delicious yet luxurious foods, aren’t these too cheap?” Denki smiled happily accepted the money, “Yep! We are just happy to see our customers happy and satisfied with our food!” Eijirou blushed at Denki, seeing the smile made his heart beat faster.
Izuku walked up to Katsuki, “Uuh uum, sir Bakugou?” Katsuki looked at him, well glared. “Why don’t you take your mother as well next time? I think she missed the food here” Katsuki though bout then nodded. “But next time, will tomorrow this door be still here?” “Uh no, the door will appear every Saturda- I mean every sixth and seventh days on a week” “Huh, every sixth and seventh huh, got it”
Katsuki and Eijirou are about to leave, then Katsuki turned to look at Izuku, he glanced the other way and said “Thanks, for the meal.”
“Thank you very much! Please come again soon!!”
