The Fight Against Pucci Continues

Summary:

After Stone Ocean, Enrico Pucci is elected prime minister of Italy. Jotaro Kujo travels there to assassinate him.
The first 5 chapters are shorter than the rest, and are also bad. There may be sudden tonal shifts ahead as I try to determine, essentially, how to make this thing good.

Chapter 1: Origin

Chapter Text

Seven Years Ago, the world was about to end. Enrico Pucci, the evil priest, was about to activate his stand, which would speed up time until he was able to reach heaven. Then, suddenly a strange man appeared. He used his stand ability, which had the ability to undo other people’s actions, to undo Pucci’s stand. I was vaguely aware that I would not have been able to beat Pucci, so I was very grateful. This is why I accepted his offer. He said, “I am the boss of the Italian gang Passione. I am in Florida so I can gain access to the Speedwagon Foundation. If you allow me access to the Speedwagon Foundation, I can use my connections to get rid of your daughter, Jolyne’s, prison sentence.”

I did not know at the time that this was the son of Dio, or that his intention was to take over the Speedwagon Foundation and incorporate it into Passione. He ran these organizations ruthlessly, and the Speedwagon Foundation began using Stand Powers to further the interests of the mafia. It is said that he used these powers to take control of Italy.  I was quickly ousted, along with much the marine biology department, as Giorno claimed that devoting so much effort to marine biology was useless when the medical departments were so close to breakthroughs. Now, most cancers have been cured due to his control of the Foundation’s medical wing. He was not a self-interested, or bad, man. But he was a man who believed the best thing for the world was to give himself as much power as possible.

Now, Jolyne was visiting my apartment. I saw a news report on TV about the situation in Italy. It said: “Giorno Giovanna, leader of Passione, has been found dead. He transformed Passione’s image from that of a horrible mafia to a charitable organization beloved by all. This has happened on the day of the Italian elections, of which we can now declare the results. Enrico Pucci has become prime minister. Guido Mista has been elected president. That is all.”

“This is an outrage!” Jolyne said. “Last I saw Pucci he was being arrested for murder!”

“Weren’t you in prison for murder?” I asked. “Who was it that broke you out?”

“Giorno Giovanna,” Jolyne said.

“He could have broken Pucci out, as well. I believe that man, Giorno Giovanna, is behind this!”

“But,” Jolyne reminded me, “he’s dead! They showed his fucking corpse on TV!”

“I believe Giorno Giovanna was behind this,” I said. “I am going to Italy. Follow me if you want.”

“No way!” Jolyne said. “I have my dissertation to work on.”

“Ok,” I said. “Goodbye.”

And with that, I was off to Italy. In order to avoid enemy stand users like Gray Fly, I had learned how to fly a helicopter, so I decided to head there by helicopter.
