Work Text:
- He got me ice cream. It was just a cheap one that we would always get after school but it was my unspoken favorite. He got it for me before I even knew he paid for it. That was the day he asked me to be more than just his best friend.
- I found a jacket sitting in front of my apartment door. It was the one I’ve been looking at for so long, the one I’ve been saving up for. It fit perfectly around my shoulders, the look exactly what I wanted. A little note fell from the pocket. “Happy birthday - Jeongguk” He was on tour on the other side of the world.
- It was our 3 year anniversary. There was a short break in his busy schedule so we met for a lowkey dinner and cuddling. He handed me a box that just fit in my palm. A silver necklace sat inside with a perfect heart dangling from the chain. Its pristine diamond shined in the low light.
- This was the first concert I’ve been to since I got my new job. It was my first break and I was excited to see him working and loving what he did. I joked and laughed with his brothers until he pulled me away. The ring was simple but elegant. It perfectly matched my necklace. I wondered how long he’d been waiting to propose when I said yes.
- It was just a joke or at least that’s what I thought. The apartment had more space than I knew what to do with. He said I could do whatever with it, change the furniture, paint the walls. He wanted me to make it our home.
- It was the first Christmas day all of the guys had off as well as I did. I invited them to our home though I knew he wanted some alone time with me. I was nervous. The box was small and no different from all the other presents. But I was nervous as I handed it to him. I hadn't told anyone. He cried and grinned. “We’re going to be parents.”
