You didn't know where you and Bakugou stood. You new he liked you more than a friend, he knew you felt the same. Hell, he called you his girlfriend the first time you went to his house. His mother was overjoyed to find out that he had someone as good as you. The only problem? He never actually asked you to be his girlfriend. You didn't really say anything to him about it at the time, but now you wished you had. That was about a month ago, you didn't think much of it lately. You still went on 'dates' with Bakugou; at least that's what he called them, often times screaming at you to get ready for something, which you'd reluctantly agree to go. Honestly, you didn't think anyone else knew quite yet. As far as you knew, no one knows.
Kirishima had caught on, noticing the subtle touches and loving gazes you and Bakugou shared. He'd probably asked Bakugou about it, but you didn't really know what they often talked about. Mina was more upfront with you about it, saying things like "He totally likes you!" and "You guys would make such a cute couple." You'd always laugh, and think to yourself, 'Yeah that's why we're dating.'
Today was Friday and you had just finished getting ready for school, you smiled looking in the mirror on the back of your door and smoothed our your shirt mentally preparing yourself for the day. You swung open the door and let out a small help as Bakugou was leaning against the door frame with his trademark smirk.
"Calm down," he sighed, "ready to go to class?"
You let out a huff before composing yourself, "Yeah I guess." You answered before closing the door. When you headed for the elevator he quickly followed suit. When the elevator arrived you let out a sigh of relief, thankful that no one else was waiting inside. Stepping through the doors, you waited patiently for them to close before turning to Bakugou. "Good morning by the way." You said in a snarky tone.
His eyes turned to look at you. "Well good morning asshole." His words causing you to turn away, your eyes going to examine the smooth metal ceiling, the air becoming heavy around you. "Do you want to go out tonight or are you too busy for me?" He asked, interrupting your thoughts.
"Of course," You smiled. At least now you had something to look forward to, which made the school day a lot more tolerable.
When you two reached the doors of UA you noticed Bakugou back away from you, giving you at least five feet of space. This wasn't anything new, Bakugou had a reputation to keep and that reputation meant he wanted nothing to do with you, you were just another member of the bakusquad. Bakugou was much colder to you during school, but you knew he wasn't like that in private, away from his classmates he was actually really good to you.
The bell for the last class had just rung and as you left the class you caught sight of Mina heading your way, oh lord. "HEYYYY." She yelled excitedly, "Will you walk back to the dorms with me? Please?"
With a nod, you motioned for her to lead the way, she was your best friend after all. As you followed her down the hall your eyes began searching for Bakugou, when you couldn't find him you let out a disappointed sigh. "Do you know where Bakugou is?" It took you a moment to realize what you had said, shit, you probably shouldn't have said that.
Mina stopped and gave you an odd look. "What? Why are you looking for him?"
You gulped, cheeks suddenly growing hot "no reason, just haven't seen him since this morning is all."
She eyed you suspiciously. "Okay, whatever you say." Without a word, you both started walking again. Mina didn't bring up the conversation about Bakugou again, thank god, though she did ask what you were doing tonight and, lying through your teeth, you told her you had a shit ton of homework to do. She was disappointed, to say the least, but you were more focused on making sure you didn't need to leave your room since you might see her.
As the afternoon drug on, you began to wonder when Bakugou was going to call. It was getting close to 5 pm and you were starting to worry that he changed his mind. But suddenly, your phone started ringing, startling you. Picking up the phone you smiled upon seeing Bakugou's picture on the screen, speak of the devil, you sighed, answering the call.
"WHERE ARE YOU?" He snapped.
"What do you mean? I'm in my dorm?"
"I'M TAKING YOU TO DINNER GET READY I'LL BE THERE IN FIVE." He quickly hung up.
What a dick. There was no way you were getting ready in five minutes. Shit. Getting up from your chair you started undressing, anxiously running around your room trying to find something nice to wear. You found some jeans lying around and hastily grabbed a cream colored shirt from your closet, yeah this'll be fine. You fixed your hair as best as you could, before hurrying to put on makeup so you at least looked a little bit presentable tonight. You checked the time, Bakugou called 7 minutes ago, he should be here by now.
Getting up, you walked to the door, fully expecting him to be standing outside. Speak of the fucking devil, and oh, he was. Smirking at you looking like he was ready to knock at anytime. He looked at you up and down, "You look cute," He said, causing you to blush.
"You look nice too, Katsuki." Bakugou didn't say anything back but you could've sworn you heard him mumble something along the lines of 'I know I do' and 'damn straight'.
He brought his arm out for you take, you let out a surprised "Oh." and then a "Thank you." Giving him smile. He looked down at you and mumbled 'shut up' before walking you to the station and then the restaurant. You were surprised; the restaurant was nice, though still pretty casual, and you silently thanked yourself for not overdressing.
The host greeted you both and led you to the seats. In the middle of the dining hall. Great. You both took your seats and started looking over the menu, feeling a bit uncomfortable you shifted in your seat, looking up to see Bakugou staring at you. "What?" You questioned him. Do I look weird of am I just that hideous?
He blinked "Nothing dumbass, what are you getting to eat?"
You hummed, "I dunno."
"Well, figure it out," he sighed looking around.
Little did he know that across the restaurant was sitting Midoriya, Ochako, and Iida, happily chatting, enjoying their meal without a care in the world, completely unaware of Bakugou and your date.
When you finally got your food, you happily started eating, just now noticing you hadn't eaten anything since lunch. After a bit, you looked up with a smile on your face, only to be met with the mirrored expression from Bakugou. You laughed, "Turning soft on me Katsuki?"
"What?" His smiled faded. "Fuck no, you just look cute as hell." You noticed a faint blush on his cheeks, which caused your smile to grow. Looking down at your plate, you felt as if a switch had gone off. Bakugou quickly took notice. "What're you thinking about?"
"Here! Katsuki! Try this! It's awesome!" You exclaimed excitedly raising the noodles from your plate, waiting for Bakugou to open his mouth so you could feed him. He stared at you for a second with a blank expression before he opened his mouth. You squealed with excitement and shoved the food in his mouth as you laughed a little bit too loudly.
"No. Freaking. Way." Midoriya said in a low whisper to the other two sitting across from him.
Ochako's eyes went wide. Her head dropping down to match Midoriya's, "What is it?"
"I just heard Y/N."
Ochako just looked more surprised. "What do you mean? Where?" Midoriya motioned to the middle of the restaurant, pointing you out while you laughed at whoever was in front of you.
Ochako looked back at the green haired teen. "Who is she with? Can you see them?"
"No, not that well, but I know its her, she's the only person I know that laughs like that." Iida nodded.
"Izuku, go see who it is!" Ochako said with sudden interest.
Midoriya laughed nervously. "I don't think that's a good idea." He responded, scratching his neck while he mulled it over in his head. "Well... maybe it wouldn't hurt to walk around and see."
You snorted at Bakugou, his cheeks turned even redder than before. Whoops, that was a bad idea. He swallowed the food and looked at you with an intense glare.
"Shut up." He grumbled, before mumbling under his breath. "It was good." He looked at his own food before bringing some up to your mouth. "Try mine." He demanded.
You ate what he offered and smiled. "It's good but a little too spicy for my taste."
He snorted, "Your taste buds just suck."
With a laugh, you left it at that.
After dinner you set some money out to pay for your meal, brushed off your shirt, you made to leave when Bakugou stopped you. He handed you your money. You took it with a curious look.
"I paid for you stupid." Bakugou said as you two made your way to the door, opening it for you.
"No. Fucking. Way." Midoriya said again, watching as you got up from your seat, the sudden outburst made the two others turn their heads to look over at you.
Ochako gasped when she saw Bakugou follow you to the door. "No way." She covered her mouth with a her hands, stifling a giggle. "Are they on a date?" She wondered.
"I think so, why else would they be together?"
"You're right," Ochako said with a nod. "We should follow them."
Midoriya blushed. "I don't think that's a good idea."
Iida pushed up glasses. "I agree with Midoriya, it's their business and we shouldn't go snooping round."
"But guysss, this is Bakugou we're talking about, this is rare!" Ochako whined.
Iida shook his head. "This is a bad idea. I'm going back to the dorms, you guys can have fun snooping." Iida stood with a sigh. "Let me know what happens." He flashed them a smile before walking away.
Ochako turned to Midoriya with a devious grin. "Okay lets go before they get too far."
You and Bakugou had stopped in the restaurant parking lot, he was standing by your side as you balanced yourself on the wheel stop. You'd placed your hand on his shoulder and he had his arms out ready to catch you if you fell. As you walked across you wobbled a bit, causing you to giggle when you almost fell off. Bakugou would laugh sometimes, but was slightly worried when you almost lost your balance.
When the restaurant doors chimed he glanced back, someone was leaving. It was getting dark so he couldn't see who it was, causing a curse to fall from his lips. He strained his eyes to try and make out the figure, it looked familiar but he couldn't really tell who it was so he brushed it off and turned to you again. Bad idea, it was his fault, he knew it was his fault. Bakugou cursed out loud this time. "Shit Y/N, be fucking careful." You fell, he was too distracted to catch you.
You just laughed. "Guess you could say I'm actually falling for you."
Bakugou offered you his hand, rolling his eyes. "You're so corny." With a sigh you took his hand, letting him lift you up with ease. He held you close as you both started towards the station, heading back to the dorms.
"Oh my god Midoriya, that was so cute." Ochako squealed while hitting his shoulder to pay attention.
Bakugou turned and they looked at the two in the parking lot. The two were currently sat behind a car starting at you and Bakugou, waiting for you two to leave the place so they can move from the hiding spot.
"Oh come on, they're leaving." Midoriya said to Ochako dragging her by the hand while still crouching.
Walking down the darkened sidewalk Bakugou held you close, he had already offered his jacket to you since it was getting cold and you had happily accepted. Upon actually arriving to the station you noticed it was abandoned, that's weird, but it was late, you shook the thought from your head. You turned your head when you heard Bakugou groan and curse. "Fuck!"
"What's wrong?"
"The next train doesn't leave for another 30 minutes!" He dramatically exclaimed.
"I don't mind waiting."
"I do!" He growled. You sighed, doing your best to ignore the negative energy he gave off. You looked around to see no one, well this is awkward. You absentmindedly started to hum along to the music playing overhead.
"Stop doing that, it's annoying." Bakugou glared at you.
"Whatever, asshole." You snapped, sticking your tongue out at him.
He looked away, you followed suit, trying to ignore the second awkward fog that surrounded you both. After a moment you looked up at him, an idea popping into your head. With a smirk you shoved him, causing him to lose his footing. He glared at you, but that didn't stop you from giggling. You offered him your hand. "Dance with me?"
"What?"
"I said, dance with me." You reiterated, offering your hand to him again. He sighed and looked around. "There's no one around asshole, just fucking dance with me."
"Fuck, okay." Bakugou grumbled as he took your hand, pulling you close to him as you both began to sway in time with the classical music drifting from the speakers. He let out a relieved sigh, this is nice.
You shared a content smile, the light of the station giving his skin a natural glow. He looked perfect. You couldn't help yourselves, without even thinking you both smiled and leaned in. You could feel your heart stutter nervously, just go with it!
He kissed you and you happily returned it. Everything fell together, it felt like the last puzzle piece was finally put into place, like a brand new jacket that fit just right, the perfect pair of shoes that were just your size. You both fit together so well.
Midoriya gasped, pulling on Ochako's arm.
"No. Fucking. Way." She looked over with big eyes. "They just kissed."
Midoriya nodded.
"I don't believe it." She mumbled. "Why him?"
Midoriya just stared at them, dumbfounded, watching them dance and laugh together. "I guess Bakugou does have somewhat of a heart."
"Hey Ochako?" He sounded nervous, almost scared.
"Yeah? What's wrong Izuku?"
"How are we going to get back if they are taking the next train?"
