Work Text:

“Are you ready?”

“Yeah, mom.”

“What was that?”

I scoffed, rolling my eyes, and rubbed my cheek against my shoulder to wipe it, since my hands were busy mushing themselves around with the dishes, washing them. “Yes, ma’am,” I grunted out.

“That’s better. Now, I didn’t bust my ass off for nothing, and I’m paying for this school completely, so you better not go there and bomb your education, understand? It’s a good school, close to work, and close to home, so go put on your shoes, and get over there, and learn. No sucking dick.”

I let out an indignant scoff, whipping my head about to face my look-alike mother. “Excuse me? I’m not some cheap whore, I wouldn’t fucking do that!” I snapped at her, and she rolled her eyes, those dark red ones boring into my brighter, rose colored ones.

“I don’t know the kind of thing you gay kids get up to, Katsuki,” she said, and shifted, pressing her hands against her hips, her long, blood red nails matching the fury in my own eyes.

Fucking bitch.

I sighed, heavy, and even more annoyed than before, turning back to my dishes. “Yeah, whatever. Get out then, let me go to school,” I mutter, letting the faucet wash water over my hands, rinsing them clean.

My mother hummed, and her heels clicked noisily against the floor as she went to grab her bag and lunch bag, making sure her area was clean, and dangling her keys in a hand, letting them jingle and clink together. “I’ll be back late. Make yourself something to eat,” she informed.

Like usual, I nodded. The bitch was never home anyways, I’ve learned to grow up without her. “Yeah, alright.”

“Goodbye, Katsuki,” she said.

“Bye,” I muttered back, half-assed. She huffed, and followed that with slamming the door closed. “Asshole,” I hissed, to no one in particular.

She had been this way since we moved from Tokyo about 3 years ago, and it’s been fucking annoying. My mother, Mitsuki, is a piece of shit. One of those ‘helicopter moms’, or something. Makes me do her work, and then beats me up about it if it’s not to her standards. I always say just do it yourself, but she hits me for that, so I keep my mouth shut. Anyways, we moved to Musutafu, which isn’t even that far from Tokyo, but Mitsuki said it was better, because right in the center of this crappy town was some high up rich school. U.A.H. I don’t know what it stands for, but it’s some academy that ranks no.1 in practically everything. I’m a smart kid, so this’ll be a piece of fuckin’ cake. But a thing to consider is other people. I don’t like people. I’m not scared of them, I’m just antisocial, and people don’t know how to keep their noses in their own fucking business. Everyone’s always poking around at me, because despite the fact I look like a nerd--glasses and braces and all, I hate em--I’m a rude piece of shit, and it shocks them. Oh, wow! The nerd cursed you out! And he beats you up too, woah! God, people are so fucking stupid.

After the dishes, I headed my way up the narrow steps of condo--if this woman had so much money, why the fuck is she such a cheapstake? It bugs me. Either way, I head to my room, which, unlike the rest of the dull, grey house, is fucking lively. It’s mostly red, with my red mesh lights up on the ceiling, the walls scattered with emo posters, my mirror in the corner, beside my black bed, and bla bla bla, other teenage stuff. It’s all fine, along with my small collection of gay shit, primarily the rainbow flag above my bed, and a transparent backpack scattered with prideful pins. My mother doesn’t like the fact that I prefer dudes. She thinks it’s weird--she lets me live, doesn’t call me a fag or anything, but she’s also a bit of a dick about it too. Like the comment from earlier, the kind of thing gay kids get up to. What the fuck does that even mean? I grunt, and let myself fall back onto my bed, sinking down into the soft cushions. Fuck her.

It’s only 7:20am, and stupid school starts at 8:00. I have time to lazy around, so I do that. I clean my room, scooping up scattered clothes from the floor, and fixing my Sanrio plushie collection--I like them, alright? Fuck off. Kuromi is my favorite. My room looks fine after tidying, and then I busy myself with the ugly uniform. What the fuck is this? I toss them onto my bed--green pants, a button up white shirt, a jacket with it? I discard the jacket, because it’s about 100 fucking degrees outside, and began to get dressed, tucking my shirt into my pants. I think it’s stupid; the pants make my waist look fucking tiny, and my ass looks huge. I was “blessed” with such a slim figure, I could probably pass for being a girl, and it fucking annoys the shit out of me, every day. I can’t wear shit without looking too girly. But, that may also go with my face. I don’t have too broad of a jawline, its more slim, but sharp. My nose is more button-ish, and my eyes narrow and slim, with long lashes. Then I’m blonde, and that must be a fucking giveaway. How many blonde boys do you see looking like fucking Chad’s? My hair is like my mothers--porcupine-ish. It’s an explosion of albino blonde, in all its naturally spiky glory. I hate it.

I make sure to put on my glasses, round lenses with a thin golden frame around them, since my mother wants me to look all classy, and hated those thick-framed ones I wore in middle school, and then flashed my teeth in the mirror, looking at the white brackets across my teeth, and yellowish bands. My teeth were getting better, but the doctor said I’d still have about 2 more years with them or something. I didn’t really care, since I didn’t smile anyways, so no one even fuckin’ knew I had braces. I huffed, and glanced around my room for my backpack, scooping the red bag into my hands. The front, smaller pocket was lined with about 8 pins: two P!ATD ones, a rainbow pin, MCR was three of them, a skeleton pin, and then an ‘Aji Fry’ pin, which was custom. I won’t explain it. Glancing at the time; 7:31, I sighed, gave myself one last glance in the mirror, and headed out, grabbing my black bento box on the way. This was going to be fun, huh? Kid school, “new life”. Yeah right, my life’s the same. Just different people to hate.
