Chapter 1

Notes:

This story doesn't really follow the storyline, but it does take place a couple weeks after the Killer Stain incident. I would like to note that I DO NOT own any characters in My hero Academia But I do own the OC and the other is owned by CheerfulBlossom.

I would also like to note that this is my first story, I am not very good with grammar so please excuse my bad writing. But I do welcome constructive criticism, so my stories can be more enjoyable for my readers.

Also, I did not include the twin brother,  only because he will only really mentioned/included in scenes. Also this story will be taken place a couple weeks after the Killer Stain incident.

I hope everyone enjoys the book!!~

Chapter Text

~Ten Years ago~

"I-I don't understand why your family has to m-move all of the sudden?" The small boy said to his best friend, tears kept spilling from his eyes, he couldn't help but feel crushed. First he found out he had no quirk, and now his best friend was leaving. He knew he wasn't being abandoned, this was a decision their parents had made. But everything was happening far too quickly, he wasn't ready for this kind of news.

"Don't worry Izuku! I promise we'll come back to visit you one day!"  The ruby red haired girl gave her friend a sad smile before reaching out to hug him. She knew very well why her family had to leave. Even at the age of five the girl and her sibling proved to process high intelligence. But that was expected of them, that their parents new. They had to leave because of them. The hunters. The twins very existence were considered "abominations" to the hunters. Because of their safety they needed to leave, to go back to their mothers home. "And when we come back, you can show us that you can be a hero even without a quirk!"

"Yeah! And you can prove to us how much stronger you'll be!" the other twin spoke. His voice shaking, he too tried to keep it together. "Your gonna be the next All Might!"

"Y-you guys really mean that?" The small green haired boy gave a hopeful smile.

"Yes!" The twins both said at the same time.

"When are you guys moving?" the boy asked hoping, he was going to be them for a few more weeks.

"As soon as we get back home" The girl answered, shattering young Izuku's heart. He couldn't hold back the tears anymore, they began trickling down his face at an unstoppable force. He tried his best to wipe them away with his shaking hands. He then looked up.

"You p-promise you'll come back! So I can show you that I'm a strong hero!" Izuku's words rung in the air, even though he was crying, the twins were still able to hear him clearly.

"We promise! Pinky Swear!" The girl said as she held out her pinky followed by her twin brother. Izuku took both his small hands and  wrapped each pinky around the other, creating a circle filed of nothing but promise. Silence cascaded between the group of three, each child making a small promise to the other. The scene was surreal, like something out of a comic book. It wasn't long until the twins gave into their tears as the reached out to hug their best friend one last time. The three kids stood their crying in each others arms for what seemed to like hours. But once the twins heard their mother call their names the three knew it was time. Time to say their final goodbye to their beloved friend.

~Present Day~

"Entering  Musutafu, Japan." A voice on the intercom disrupted the girls peaceful sleep. The plane ride back to Japan was peaceful. Least I was able to actually get some sleep The girl thought as she left the the plane. Japan's airport was as busy as ever during this time of the year since the  Sports Festival has finally come to an end. Not to mention that Hero Killer Stain had been put down, so people felt more safe to travel. Stain's last words and views on what it means to be a Hero in this world had been placed all over the internet. The girl could practically hear his speech all throughout the walk out of the airport. She tried her best to tune out the bustling noise of people by plugging in her headphones. She hated crowds, she hated dealing with people in general.

A lot has changed since I've been gone. She thought. She noticed a small Cafe and stopped. It was adorable, the shop itself had a vintage style with vines growing outside of the windows. The aroma of coffee and sweets that came from the shop already was enough to have the girl almost drooling.  Oh I defiantly have to try this place out after I get settled in. She wondered past the cute little shop tugging her suitcase behind her.

A couple miles down from the cafe the girl noticed some familiar scenery coming into view. It's the park. She stopped and gazed at the little Jungle Gym and smiled. It looks the same as I remember it.  She remembered the times she would play around slide with Izuku. How Izuku would pretend to be All Might while her brother proclaimed himself as the the villain, she of course played the damsel in distress. She noticed how the sun was setting, making the park look surreal. Empty. No kids were here to play, the swing set that used to be bustling with children remain frozen.  The girl laid her suitcase down sat down on the empty swing, swaying back and forth. Feeling the wind flow across her skin. She wasn't sure as to why she continued to swing in the air, maybe she didn't want to let go of her memories. The happy memories at least.

Meanwhile~

"Man, Aizawa's lessons really worn me out today." Uraraka complained almost completely worn out.

"I wouldn't expect anything less from UA, especially after recent events its only natural that our lessons become more difficult. After all the training we did today is probably Childs play for Pro-Heroes" Iida cut in moving his arms around like a robot . "Midorya I noticed you were moving around like Bakugo during todays training! Your'e getting the hang of your quirk."

"O-oh yeah! Kacchan can move through the air swiftly, so I used his moves as a reference to be able to get a grasp on how to move with my quirk. K-kacchan is probably going to kill me tomorrow." Izuku flinched. He knew what he did would piss off his childhood friend now turned into rival. But then again anything that he did basically pissed Bakugo off. Izuku could literally sneeze and Bakugo would take it as some sort of challenge to fight. Even so Izuku still looked up to Bakugo, he was amazing and Izuku always thought he was. Of course Bakugo would never believe him no matter how many times Izuku had said it to him. Then again, all of his classmates were amazing. "You guys were amazing out there too. "

"Everyone's working hard, using their new learned skills from the internships" Iida looked to Izuku, both of them remembered their internships. They remembered their fight the Hero Killer Stain. They fought, dodging deaths doorstep, they knew what really happened to Stain. Endevor defeating the Hero Killer was just a coverup story to save Iida, Todoroki, and himself from getting into trouble.

"Yeah!! Even though I didn't get to show much of the skills I learned, I'm sure it will come in handy soon! I can't wait to show off what I've learned" Uraraka cut in, completely obvious as she pumped her fist in the air. "Tomorrows Saturday right? We'll all finally be able to get some rest. Maybe we should all go somewhere to celebrate how far we've come."

"That's an excellent idea Uraraka!" Iida agreed. "Should we invite everyone?"

"We could, Uraraka could send out a group text. I doubt Kacchan would attend though he always thinks our class activities aren't worth his time."

"I'm sure we can get Kirishima to convince him to come, he seems to only respect that guy in class so maybe he will."

"I'll be sure to send Kirishima a separate text to see if he can." The three nodded, excited about the just recently planned party. Hopefully everyone will be willing to show up. It's been awhile since the whole class did something fun together, the only other times were when villains somehow showed up to ruin everything. Izuku shivered remembering the USJ incident. If it weren't for All Might and the teachers showing up on time, he wouldn't even be having this conversation with his friends. Iida and Uraraka must have thought of the same thing from the concerned looks on their faces. "Do you have any ideas on what we should do?" The Iida asked distracting the two from their thoughts.

"Well the girls have talked about using the schools swimming pool, Momo turned in the form already, we're just waiting the approval from Aizawa" The brunette answered. Izuku perked up, it sounded like a pretty good idea. The school pool was big enough for everyone to hang out. He didn't see why it wouldn't work. Plus, there's an upside.

"That's a great idea Uraraka! Not only could we have some fun, but think about it we could also train at the same time for endurance."

"I never thought about that idea, as expected from Midoriya" Clearly Iida was impressed "But as class rep I do have a proposal that the girls might want to take interest in."

"What do you mean?"

"If we're planning a class pool party, I suggest that the girls wear the schools swim suits. A certain someone in the classroom might try to ruin the fun by trying something and as class rep I have to prevent that from happening" Iida explained. Both of his classmates understood what he meant and agreed with his idea, Uraraka made a mental note to include that when she decides to message the girls. Uraraka was beyond excited to hang out with everyone. Izuku was not only excited about hanging out with his classmates, but also excited about the training that came along with the hang out session. He had to do work nonstop in order to become stronger so he can control One for All. The green haired boy looked up at the sunset sky, thinking about all that has happened so far and how far he has come. He turned his eyes to the park he used to play in as a kid only to be surprised to find that someone was there. Uraraka went to say something to him, but Izuku toned her out, too busy studying the figure sitting on the swings. Thats odd He internally thought It's getting too late for kids to be playing here. Which surprised him to register that the girl looked to be around his age. What came to an even more shock when he noticed the girls ruby red hair in her ponytail. She looked familiar.

Why does she look so-

"MIDORIYA!" Uraraka yelled snapping the green haired boy out of his trance.

"I-I'm sorry what did you say?" Embarrassed that he was caught.

"Iida and I were wondering if you wanted to stop by the cafe tomorrow before the party tomorrow" She questioned "You didn't hear us."

"O-oh yeah! I we can do that! I'm sorry I was just... a little...distracted..." His words trailed off, his eyes shifted back to the figure on the swings. He watched her as she sat up from her spot, she grabbed what looked to be a plane black suitcase and started walking away from the scene. Realizing he was spacing out again he turned to a very suspicious Iida and Uraraka.

"Midoriya! What was that??" They both asked at the same time. Izuku whose brain just registered what was probably going through their minds flushed.

"O-o-oh gosh it was nothing!"

"Nothing? Then why were you so captured by that girl huh?"

"She just looked l-like someone I know" He hid behind his arms. "AnywaysIshouldgetgoingseeyoutomorrow!" he said quickly in one sentence as he dashed for his house.

The girl groaned as she heard her alarm go off. She turned over to read the clock which read 6:50am. Why did I even have an alarm set for this early? She internally kicked herself as she silenced god awful sound. She rolled back over to her back and rubbed her eyes. That's right I have to take the entrance exam She remembered. She wanted to give public schooling a try since she was homeschooled for most of her life. She slowly got up from her bed and got ready for the day, putting her hair up in a tight bun to keep it from bothering her today. She got dressed and headed out of the door. It wasn't until she smelled that lovely aroma of coffee that she remembered the cute cafe she passed by yesterday. Well I can't take an exam on an empty stomach The girl thought as she entered the building.

The shop looked even cuter on the inside than it did on the outside. The shop was filled with tan and brows with a hint of green coming off of the many plants. The scent of coffee was poured into her nose. She was so ready for a cup of Joe. Little did she know the trio of three were sitting off in a corner not too far from her. Uraraka was the first to notice the girls presence. She turned to her friend Midorya who happened to be talking to Iida and tapped him on the shoulder. "Hey Midoriya, isn't that the girl who you were staring at yesterday?" Her words made Izuku almost pass out with embarrassment.

"U-uraraka don't say what so loud!" He stammered over his thoughts. Looking over at the girl who look so familiar to him. He couldn't believe the coincidence. "But yeah that's h-her."

The girl tilted her chin up deciding on what to order. Should I decided on a plane coffee or should I go all out and order something special? She pondered Well it's not everyday she moves back into her old childhood town. Finally deciding she was going to go all out.

"Yes can I get a Caffè Marocchino to go please? Oh! I'd also like to get one of those cute muffins!" She said sounding a little too excited for her own good. "Oh sure!" The brown haired-girl behind the counter smiled taking a cup from behind the counter, her name tag read "Blossom."

"Can I get a name for your order miss?"

"Oh sure, It's Lyla."
