Snuggling into the covers jimin let out a big sigh at the comfortable position. Being on the brink of falling asleep he heard the door creak open and tiny footsteps follow knowing exactly who it was made him smile but he didn't open his eyes just yet. He wanted to pretend to be asleep so he could know what that little devil could do knowing she loved to wake him up.
Speaking of the devil she giggled as she climbes up the bed and crawls her way upwards and not so carefully sits on jimins stomach. She giggled once again thinking she was so slick for not waking her daddy wake up. He could feel his heart burst of love and adoration for his little princess, not wanting to disturb her 'plans' he dosent move.
"Daddy" Ji ah whisperd "daddy wake up" she poked his cheek. "Daaaaddddyyy" ji ah started to get frustrated her daddy didn't want to wake up and she couldnt understand why. She called his name and poked his cheek so why didnt he wake up? He always did. She crossed her arms and started pouting but only for a little while instead she layed down and snuggle into his neck. Free cuddle session? Who can say no to that especially if you have the best daddy in the world.
Only after a couple of seconds she fell asleep so jimin opened his eye to watch the love of his life, his little pearl, his light in the dark his little Ji ah who he had been blessed with four years ago. He used to date her mother, they were in a relationship for 5 years he met her in his last year of high school. She was beautiful absolutely stunning no wonder he fell for her. He was 22 and she was 21 when they got the news that Haewon was pregnant even though it wasn't planned they were thrilled nonetheless. A year later their little angle Ji ah was born it was like the honeymoon phase all over again. Not that they are complaining. When Ji ah was about 2 months jimin noticed he started to get attracted to men, a really attractive guy had walk by him on his way home from collage and he had gotten a boner out in public. Feeling humiliated he ran home as fast as he could not wanting anyone to see. That humiliation stuck to him for weeks, watching gay porn didn't exactly help him either but what could he do when he only thought about that guys face, shoulders, chest and legs. It was a big turn on for him and it also made him feel like a horny teenager once more.
Not knowing what to do with himself anymore jimin spoke to his girlfriend. Weird right? I mean would you talk to your girlfriend in which you have a daughter about possibly being bisexual?
The talk went better than expected there was a little bit of crying but only on jimins part. Haewon helped him calm down and talked him through it.
3 months after the talk they ended their relationship, it was nothing serious they both talked about it and it was mutual they are still friends because even though they are not in love with eachother they still love one another. When they talked about custody it was obvious it was gonna be shared custody.
Moving forward to a year later Haewon had found another man and wanted to move away from Seoul but not only that she wanted to travel and pick up her studies once more. Being more than okay with that jimin took on full custody and Ji ah moved in with him for good. The first half year was hard trying to work but also take care of his toddler at home luckly his mother and father were more than happy to help him with babysitting how could they say no to that little angle called their granddaughter.
Fast forwarding to where he was today laying in bed with the said angle he one hand stroked her back while the other stroked her head. Sighing once more he turned his head and kissed her temple and closed his eyes drifting to dreamland once more.
The second time jimin woke up he sat up and streched his limbs looking to his side he saw Ji ah spawled out like a start fish he giggled at her adorable sleeping position. He kissed her head before he stood up to walk to the bathroom to shower.
After showering, putting on clothes, brushing his teeth and doing his morning routine with all the diffrent moisturizers he walked out of the bathroom and saw that Ji ah was still asleep. Chuckling he made his was out of the bedroom to walk into the kitchen to make breakfast. He wanted to suprise his princess with breakfast in bed. I mean a princess has to be spoiled right?
Seeing as its a saturday he makes bread with nutella and strawberries on top with one glass of chocolate milk and one cup of coffee. Walking into his room once more he put the tray on the bedside table and then proceed to wake the princess up.
"Ji ah, baby it's time to wake up now" he said and shook her shoulder
A hand waving in his face and a mumble of what sounded like " five.. More... Minutes.." was the only answer he got chuckling he tried once more.
"But princess I brought breakfast with me"
"Really?"
"Yeah really" he let out a laugh afterwards. He couldn't help himself she was just to precious.
Pouting Ji ah stared at her dad "why are you lauging at me" "im not laighing at you baby I just think you are adorable" "but why did you laugh then?" she looked at him confused. If she was adorable then why did he laugh? Putting a strand of hair behind her ear and stroking her cheek afterwards "you will understand when you get older" smiling jimin picked her up and put her in his lap so they could cuddle and eat breakfast.
"Daddy?"
"Yes baby?"
"Could we watch some tv while we eat? Please~ I wanna watch pororo"
"Yes we can" he kissed her head and turned on the tv. And that's how they spent their morning just chilling in bed watching tv and cuddle.
Jimin was sitting in the living room writing on his new novel, he was not very famous but he got enough money to afford the apartment and other essentials. Feeling a sudden weight on his back he grunted and tried to catch his balance once more.
"DAAADDYYY!"
"Yes my little devil"
Ji ah just giggled and hugged her dad tighter "daddy can we go outside? I wanna go to the park and play!"
"Let me finish this chapter first baby then we can go outside but-" he was cut of with a scream of joy and you know what. He couldn't even be mad about it so he just smiled with his face.
"Daddy is the prettiest when he smiles" "thank you baby but you know what?" "what?" "your smile lights the whole world up" he replied and booped her nose giggling Ji ah smiled and jimin smiled back. "Like I was trying to say before I need to finish this chapter then we can go outside so go and play in your room while I write this ok?" "oki" she said with enthusiasm and ran towards her room. He chuckled at her then turned around to his computer once more and started working.
Jimin lets out a big sigh after stretching his back. Sitting infront of a computer for 5 hours can be exhausting, especially for your back. Closing the laptop he stands up just to stretch once more then looks at the clock he can ses its 4pm
"Hmm.. I should bring some snacks just in case we get hungry"
Walking into the kitchen he starts preparing sandwiches, fruit of diffrent kind some gimbap and drinks. He puts it all into a bag and makes his way to Ji ahs room. He knocks on her door twice then opens it.
"Hi princess are you ready to go outside?" turning around Ji ah squeals and runs towords her dad "Yes I'm ready! Ive been ready since I asked you" she says with enthusiasm. Jimin chuckles and ruffles her hair "alright let's go"
They walk to the hallway to their shoes. Jimin gives his daugther the keys so she can lock the door. Ever since she understood how to walk and why we lock the door she wanted to do it and jimin didnt have the heart to say no so he lets her do it. Taking Ji ahs hand they make their way out of the building and to a nearby park.
Standing at the entrance of the park the father daugther duo could see that the park was fairly empty except for two people. A little boy and his father, atleast thats what jimin thinks. Ji ah loves to play with other children so she didnt hesitate to let go of her dad's hand and run to the little boy playing with sand.
"Hi! My name is Ji ah and I'm 6 years old" she says while showing four of her fingers "what's your name?" the boy stops playing with his sand castle and looks at the girl standing beside him "my name is Joon Woo. I'm 2" he says with a mumble and starts fiddling with his fingers. "Nice to meet you! Can I play with you?" Ji ah asks. You always have to ask for permission even for small things because her daddy taught her that. He said it's polite and well mannered. And she gets free candy from all the grannys and grandads. "I'm great at building sandcastles! Some might say the best!'' she says proud. Joon Woo looks a little star struck but nods with enthusiastically after a while. "Great! Let me show you!"
Watching their interaction warms jimins heart, Ji ah has always been extroverted. She loves to play, talk and make other people laugh. There was once an old woman sitting on bench looking sad Ji ah saw it and couldn't stand that granny being sad so she ran up to her and asked what was wrong. Turns out her son had died from cancer, she was heart broken a tear started running down her wrinkled face. Ji ah almost started crying herself, but she sucked it up and told the granny "even though your son is not here anymore i bet he's up there watching over you and hes in there" she points at the grannys heart "so he never left you, hes always with you. In your heart and in your memories so hes not gone. Not completely" the old lady was so moved she praised Jimin for raising such a wonderful child he thanked her but couldnt take all the praise. He may have raised her but Ji ah is such a pure soul that she never did anything bad. Atleast when she wasn't pranking him with her uncle tae tae.
Smiling at the memory jimin looks at what he presumes to be the dad he looks young, not that jimin is old but he looks younger. He looks very handsome with his dark long wavy hair, strong jaw line, broad shoulder and defined muscels. Not wanting to stand here by himself and wait for his daugther to get tired or hungry he walks up to the young man.
"Hi my name is. Park Jimin and that's my daughter Ji ah nice to meet you" he says and extends his hand "hello im Jeon Jungkook and that's my son Joon Woo. Nice to meet you jimin-ssi" jungkook answered and shook his hand. For a while they just stood there at stared into eachoters eyes. Jungkook cleared his throat to brake the stare and the awkward silence he turned his head and looked at his son. Joon Woo looked really happy all giggly and rose cheek absolutely adorable. "Yknow" jungkook says and smiles fondly at the children "Joon Woo is a very shy in nature, he likes to play with other kids but he has a hard time walking up to them. His kindergarten teacher tries her best to help him but he gets scared when you try to make him go out of his comfort zone. Its nice to see him be this joyful for exchange." Jimin stares at jungkook then looks at the children. Ji ah was making Joon Woo laugh by 'accidently' destroying her castle and pretends to me 'mad' about it but she ends up laughing because he has such a contagious laugh.
"Yea. Ji ah has always been good at making people laugh or talk with her. Shes such an angel, always wants the best for people and always want to include them." chuckling jimin says "once when she was 2 years old she was at kindergarten playing and for that day they had some babies there and Ji ah didnt understand that they were too young to play so she asked her teacher several times if the baby could play with her but it couldnt because it couldnt even crawl and she got so upset she started crying." both men started laughing "poor teacher got so startled she thought Ji ah had hurt herself"
"How old is she?" "4 years. How old is Joon Woo?" "he's 2. Only a tiny little baby still. I wished he would stop growing, hes so tiny and cuddly, when hes not cuddly and I'm not working, cleaning the house or making food we just cuddle and watch tv. Sometimes I feel like my heart will just burst out of my chest. He's the best thing that has happend to me, he wasent planned but I wouldnt have it any other way because he makes my life complete" understand what jungkook feels he just nods along.
"Do you want to meet up sometimes?" jungkook suddenly ask "with the children of course" he quickly adds with a blush. Jimin could only stare at his reddening cheeks "I think it would be good for Joon Woo to socialize more becasue of his shy nature" he adds again and scratches his neck. "Yea we could. I think Ji ah would appreciate that aswell besides I think she likes your son quite alot from what I can see" jimin finally answered "that's great, could I borrow your phone real quick?" "Yea sure" jimin hands his phone over he can see jungkook typing and hands it back "there you go, I put my number in" he says and smiles. You can see two of his front teeth poking through. It was kinda cute, but he wasent gonna tell him that. "Thank you, are you perhaps free next weekend?" jimin asks and puts his phone away "Yeah should be if not I'll just text you"
"DAAADDYYYY!" Ji ah yells "IM HUNGRY!" she adds with a pout. "I brought snacks with me come eat" "is alright if your son eats aswell? Children need to eat after playing" Jimin asks while he puts his backpack on the ground and takes the snacks out. "Yea its more than alright. I think hes hungry aswell"
"Woonie baby are you hungry?" turning around Joon Woo nods and answeres with a quiet "yes" he stands up pats away sand and waddles to his dad when hes close enough he streches his arms out indicating he wants to be carried. Bending down jungkook picks him up and kisses his cheek "having fun baby?" "mhm" getting embarrassed from showing affection in public Joon Woo hides his face in his dad's neck. Both parents cant help but laugh at the adorable boy. Ji ah was clinging to her dads waist and eating a sandwich.
"Joon Woo do you want some fruit?" jimin asks while holding out a bowl. The boy turns his head around so his head lays on jungkook shoulder and nods "can I have a strawberry?" "of course you can pumpkin. Here" he takes the strawberry and hides in his father's neck once again.
"Omg I cant take it hes so adorable" jimin makes a hurt expression while he cluthes his chest. Not expecting that jungkook just laugh with his whole chest so much that Joon Woo starts whining and complaining "I'm sorry Woonie" he just hums and start eating the strawberry.
And thats how their evning goes the children eats and the adults chats until a tires Joon Woo interrupts them
"M tired" he slures his words and yawns right after. "Ok baby lets go home then. Well it was nice meeting you jimin-ssi and ji ah hope we can meet next week" "it was nice meeting you aswell. And please call me hyung theres no need to be so formal" jungkook just nods and smiles "off we go. Goodbye. Wave goodbye Woonie" the half asleep boy waves goodbye to his new friend and possibly new uncle. "Bye have a safe trip home" jimin replies and waves back "Bye Joon Woonie I will miss you" Ji ah says aswell and waves with enthusiasm.
They watch the duo leave the park, jimin looks down at his daugther and sees her eyes drop a little. "Wanna go home aswell sweetheart?" "mmm" she nods and scratches her eye "can you carry me aswell?" she asks while looking up at her dad with puppy eyes. "Of course sweetie lets hurry so we can before it gets dark"
