Time: 12:16 am

Never, in a million years, did Izuku think his life would end up as it did. He could barely imagine him getting into UA. That alone made his life amazing. He didn’t think it’d get any better. Then he ran into Ejirou Kirishima on the first day. He didn’t think much of it, just another classmate. Then the more they talked the better his life got. Long story short they ended up here. He was in Kirishima’s dorm being protected by the embrace of Kirishima's arms. One around his stomach, and one near his mid-thigh. The only sound that filled the room was Kirishima's subtle breaths, and the music of the Minecraft game they had left open. He had fallen asleep forever ago but Izukudidn’t move an inch. He felt warm and safe in Kirishima’s arms, and that’s all that mattered to him.

You’d imagine Izuku could fall asleep as well, but as tired as he was, he couldn’t fall asleep. Maybe it was the fear of being caught, maybe it was the fear if he moved in his sleep he’d wake his boyfriend, but whatever it was he couldn’t sleep. He figured if he’d lay down the heat radiating off of Kirishima’s body would lure him to sleep, but thirty minutes had passed and he was still staring at the laminate screen. But he stayed still. He closed his eyes, hoping it would help, but the brightness sheered through his eyelids. He grunted as quietly as he could and laid still, staring at the screen once more.

Suddenly he felt a shift. He felt the hand leave his belly, and his thigh, and turn slightly. Now with more room to move he changed his position. He had turned to face that wall, the bed feeling cooler then what previously was. He was able to catch a glimpse of the clock mid-turn. 12:34. He couldn't believe that much time had passed. He had got there as soon as the class had ended. He had a choice to make. He could sneak out now, but if anyone would see him walking out of that dorm that late, rumors were sure to spiral. If he got out before class with Kirishima, it was bound to have the same fate, only more of a risk of getting caught. He pondered on the thought, worried for the two. His thoughts were silenced by a grunt from his lover, a quant stretch, the going back to his original position. Then he knew. He wrapped his arms around Kirishima the best he could, and close his eyes. If they were gonna be ridiculed, he’d at least have the best man he knew by his side. With that thought, the Minecraft music faded out and al he could hear was the subtle breaths again. Soon enough, those breaths canceled out has Izukufell asleep next to his lover, and great dreams followed.

Three hours passed. He was sharply awakened. The alarm didn’t go off. Kirishima had shifted, but that’s not what happened. In fact, Kirishima wasn’t there at all. And the sounds of his classmates filled the halls. He was up quicker than a hare and ran to the halls, all fears about being caught vanished. Now his biggest fear was where Kirishima was. He begged it was some dream. He would open his eyes and there’d his lover would be. Lightly breathing and sleeping peacefully. Just like it was hours prior before He swung the door open and looked around. Every student was there. It was no dream.

He rushed through the crowd of confused kids. He looked for bright red bed head, or concerned red eyes, his unique shape, sharp teeth moving in sync of his words, anything to help him find Kirishima. Kids called him out on his scuffling, but they were blocked out by his worrying. All he could really hear was his inner monologue. ‘He’s got to be here,’ he thought to himself, ‘he just has to be.’ Nothing. He ended up at the front of the crowd. There was a huge wall that everyone was facing. Tears brimmed his eyes. “No,” he softly mumbled.

“IZUKU” he was cut short from thought when he heard his name screamed in the crowd. He turned around to see Ochako running up to him. “I’m sorry that it happened. We don’t even know how it happened.” She said catching up and placing a hand on his shoulder

“What happened, Uraraka? Who did what to him?” He asked, his eyes never averted from the wall, or what’s left of the wall. “I need to know.”

“From the looks of it, he was taken by the league of villains. You can still see the blue flames on the carpet from Dabi, along with some blood. I’m so Sorry he was Taken. I know it must hurt but we’ll get him back.” He heard it in her voice. She tried to be positive for him, but her voice cracked. She was hurt, just wanted him to not worry.

Iida soon followed behind her and started his usual rambling, but Izuku never heard him speak. At that point, he heard nothing. Nothing but his internal dialogue. Its harsh words screaming in his ears, mocking him. “You could’ve saved him, you didn’t.” They repeated as a broken record would. “This is your fault. He could be dead and it’s your fault.” His eyes glistened from the tears that burned them.

Suddenly a voice cut through the crowd. A small bear person stood in front of the crowd. "Students!" His voice projected loud causing the others to quiet to a whisper, yet izuku's voices only got louder. "He's dead Nezu is gonna tell you first. You killed the love of your life."

Nezu continued, snagging attention once more. "We do not know what happened just yet! We will figure out what happened to Kirishima Eijirou. That's means today will be off." Some students snickered and smiled. Not knowing who this man was and getting a day off, it brought them Glee to sleep in. "For now please remain calm and go back to sleep in your dorms. Let the professionals handle this. Sleep well."

With that students resumed their banter and went to their dorms once more. Uraraka spoke up. "See Deku they're gonna figure it out and–" Before she could finish Deku pushed her aside and ran through the crowd and straight towards his dorm. The door slammed and the lock clicked.

Inside the dorm he finally let his tears stream. He screamed just loud enough no one near could hear. Breathing heavy he slid down on the door, the coolness giving chills down his spine. The tears continued on and on. Tears of fear, confusion, and pain burned his cheeks till they fell on his light blue sleep shirt. He thought he had been scared before. On missions, at Bakugou, even of himself and his power. He then realized that he had never felt true fear. Never felt true fear until now.
