Chapter Text
“if perhaps, tomorrow, i am to die
may all the light in the world disappear.”

[YEAR 20XX, LOCATION CLASSIFIED]
aliens travelled around the depths of space all the time, looking for new planets to invade and conquer. contrary to human speculation, aliens did not appear as 'tiny green men' or anything near that. instead, they took on the form of a range of things and unique creatures. on this specific spaceship, [NAME REDACTED], the aliens all resembled human like creatures, plus the antenna and the radio wave power.
"eve! come here!"
the blonde haired alien spun on his heels, opting to put down his reports at hearing their leader's voice. walking over to him, eve mock saluted.
"what is it?"
naruse, their mission leader, rolled his eyes as he handed over a sheet of paper. as eve read through it, naruse began explaining it.
"we've been tasked with going to earth to invade. before we do that, we've got to check it out for risks and to see what we're dealing with." eve nodded unconsciously, reading the report he'd been given. they had little to no info on earth; he was practically going in cold. the only information they had was that the life forms were almost identical to theirs.
after naruse finished talking, he looked at eve expectantly, awaiting his response. he wasn't quite sure how to respond. he'd been on plenty of missions before, even by himself, but he'd normally knew about the place beforehand.
naruse, sensing this, patted him on the shoulder.
"it won't be that bad. earth is probably the same as the rest of them."
he relaxed slightly, giving naruse a partially confident look.
"you'll take the mission on then?"
"yessir!"

yurin, his crew mate and best friend in this ship, had made an attempt at consoling him. "you'll be fine! if you survived pasiphae, you can survive anything!" he had told him as they walked to the telepad. eve shuddered, remembering their invasion of pasiphae (yurin had died of laughter when they were there, seeing poor eve get chased by several Minotaur-like creatures.)
"i'm just saying, how bad can earth be?" when those words escaped yurin's mouth, a small chuckle could be heard. both boys looked up to see natsushiro, standing in charge of the telepad.
"you're going to earth now, right?" eve nodded, choosing to ignore his friend's earlier laugh.
"the report said i'll have to blend in... somehow."
"mhm. they're sending you to a junior high school. you'll be blending in with the students."
eve sighed, eliciting another laugh from natsushiro. the taller alien patted him on the shoulder reassuringly. even yurin gave him a thumbs up, though it was probably mockingly.
"have fun on earth! you'll have to send in reports still~!"
"just warp me there already!"
"bye eve~!"
eve didn't have time to give yurin or natsushiro a proper goodbye as his vision had already faded and his body had already became limp.
this was, indeed, how it felt to warp.

opening his eyes, eve had immediately realised he wasn't on the ship anymore. this world he was in was unlike anything he'd seen before. the skies were a clear hue, trees littered the ground and all around, he could hear the sounds of... talking?
he looked down at himself, realising he was in some sort of uniform (he made a mental note to ask natsushiro how the hell he managed that) and that he was probably nearby the school. he stood up off the grass, brushing himself off and following the sounds of chatter before arriving at the school gates.
several people dressed in uniforms like him passed by, walking through the gates and talking amongst themselves, moods varying. it fascinated him. eve looked around, in awe and confusion.
this is where i'll be blending in?
suddenly, he felt a hand clasp his shoulder, making him turn around. the culprit was a blonde haired boy, eyes and smile brighter than many of the stars he'd ever seen.
"i've never seen you here before, are you new?" the boy had asked, hopeful and optimistic. eve had simply nodded, not quite sure how to respond.
"i'll show you around then! my name's kradness!"
"eve..."
kradness babbled on, holding onto his wrist tightly to make sure he wouldn't stray. eve followed him around, becoming emersed in his words.
and so, began his first day at komorebi junior high.
