   Summary

   It... Couldn't? Why couldn't it protect its partner? That was irrational.

   A red wall flickered up in front of it. Do not use force. PM700 #126 872 542 reached out to touch it, and a strange... form... left its body to do so. The wall felt strange under its hands, like carpet but sharper. Prickling at its synthetic skin. It pulled its hands away from it. Lingering, hesitating.
