Felicitous - Belonging

Summary:

Abby makes Bishop feel like she belongs and Tony experiences deja vu.

Another dictionary.com word of the day drabble. This time from 01/04/2003 for the word felicitous.

Work Text:

Abby greeted the newcomer, Bishop, with a felicitous hug. Bishop smiled and hugged back, at once, feeling as if she belonged. A feeling that had been missing the entire time she worked at the NSA, despite marrying another NSA agent.

"Why didn't you take this fast to me, Abby?" Tony questioned.

"You're like a piercing, Tony, it takes awhile for the throbbing to stop and for the skin to grow back," Abby explained.

"Well, that's more than I wanted to know." Tony made a disgusted face at that information while experiencing a strange sense of deja vu. He was pretty sure they'd had this conversation before.

Bishop grinned even more. She knew she was going to like it here.

Notes:

The dictionary.com series has 3 stories already written for it after this one, so I will be posting at least 3 stories before I stop posting again. I'm hoping to get more stories written before then, so that I don't stop posting for a while. Wish me luck!
