Work Text:

Asui and Bakugou were driving to their local coffee shop to deliver baked goods from All Might’s Bakery. The two of them were completely silent, the only noise was soft music playing from the radio.

When the two got there, they drove to the back where the Staff Only door was. Bakugou immediately hopped out of the passenger seat and moved towards the back of the company van. Asui turned off the engine, quickly following the blond. Bakugou opened the van doors to reveal neatly packed crates of fresh pastries. The blonde stacked two and carried them towards the back door of the coffee shop. Asui grabbed one crate, and went to knock on the door. A couple of seconds later, a buff man with red spiked hair opened the door with a confused look.

”Hello? How can I help you?” He said, seeing the crates Asui and Bakugou were carrying.

“We have a delivery from All Might’s Bakery. They are in these crates, and a couple more in the van.” Bakugou motioned his head in the direction of their company van. A giant picture of the company owner, Toshinori Yagi, was placed on the side with the words, “I AM HERE” written in bold. The redhead saw the van and smiled.

”Come in then! The shop is still closed, so we can put these in the correct spots easily.” He looked at Bakugou. “Let me help you guys carry some stuff.” He walked inside, leaving the door open for the two others to follow.

Asui followed the smiley redhead inside the small shop, loving the smells of fresh brewed coffee mixing with their newly baked pastries.

“Here! You can place those crates down, and we can go grab the rest.” His smile brightened. “By the way, I’m Kirishima. Kirishima Eijirou.”

”I’m Asui Tsuyu, but just call me Tsu, and that guy is Bakugou Katsuki.” Asui smirked. “He’s gay and got anger issues,” she whispered to Kirishima. The redhead snorted at her comment.

”Hey! I heard that, Kermit!” Bakugou yelled as he placed his two crates down on the floor. He stood back up and got a good look at Kirishima. The blond looked him up and down, smirking once he was done. Bakugou turned around and walked back towards the van.

”C’mon losers. We don’t have all day to unpack the van,” Bakugou stated as he walked out the door. Kirishima was frozen, still trying to comprehend what just happened. Tsu chuckled and started towards the door.

”Before you ask, yes, he was checking you out,” Tsu said as she disappeared from Kirishima’s view. He quickly turned as red as his hair from what she said.

After the three were done putting the crates inside of the shop, it was already sunrise. Soon, the coffee shop would be open and so would the bakery.

Tsu, Bakugou, and Kirishima were saying their good-byes when a chubby girl with brown hair walked in the back door. She looked up to see her co-worker and two strangers talking.

“Kirishima? What’s going on?” She asked, slowly walking closer. Tsu turned around and saw the girl, her heartbeat speeding up rapidly.

“Oh! These two delivered the pastries from All Might’s Bakery this morning. We were just saying good-bye before we all had to go to work,” Kirishima explain, but Tsu could barely hear him. She was staring at the girl in front of her. Bakugou noticed and smirked.

”I’m Bakugou Katsuki, and this is Asui Tsuyu.” He leaned over to the girl. “She’s a lesbian disaster,” he whispered to the brown haired girl. She chuckled and her smile light up the room. At least to Tsu.

”I’m Uraraka Ochako! It’s nice to meet you.” She turned to Kirishima. “I’m so sorry I’m late, Bubbles was acting up and wanted attention,” she explained.

”Who’s Bubbles?” Tsu said, genuinely curious.

“He’s my pet frog! He gets really clingy in the morning when I leave for work.”

”You have a pet frog? I love frogs!” Tsu exclaimed, making Uraraka just as excited as the green-haired girl. Bakugou rolled his eyes. He looked at Kirishima and he couldn’t help but have a small smile on his face. Kirishima looked back at him, not expecting the smile, but nonetheless, giving a soft smile as well. A light blush covered both of their cheeks as their smiles grew.

“I know you said that you were leaving, but do you think it’s possible to stay for a bit?” Uraraka said with a little bit of hope. Tsu and Bakugou exchanged looks and nodded.

”Yeah, I think we can stay for a bit,” Tsu said looking back towards the chubby girl.

”I’ll stay as long as I get a cup of black coffee,” Bakugou said with a scowl. It was still too early in the morning for any of them to function super well. Kirishima smiled yet again.

“One black coffee coming up!” Kirishima said as he moved over to the coffee machines.

Urarka looked at Tsu. “Is there anything you would like, Asui?”

”I’ll take an iced latte. And please, call me Tsu.”
