Chapter Text
It had been about five months since you and Tomura started dating. You were both playing your favorite game as you were snuggled against his right shoulder on the couch. Honestly, you never ever expected him to ever look your way or even like you.
When you joined the League of Villains for the first time, he threatened to kill you when you asked him about the hand on his face. You never meant any ill will towards him, you were just curious as to why he wore it. You ended up apologizing profusely to him when he just grumbled and stomped to his room.
It wasn’t until he was on his own without All for One’s guidance when his attitude towards you changed.
You always checked up on him, made sure he was taking care of himself. It annoyed him for a while. He’d usually tell you “leave me alone” or “fuck off” but one day, he stopped. Why? You weren’t completely sure.
The day the League lost Magne, was dreadful. You really liked her a lot and thought of her as an older sister. The moment Overhaul murdered her with his quirk, you were furious yet terrified. Only half of Magne’s body was intact as the rest was scattered around in bloody pieces.
You tried to stop Mr. Compress, but you weren’t fast enough. He lost his arm. You tried keeping your composure. You didn’t want to show off any sign of weakness to your enemy. Overhaul sent in his minions as soon as Tomura leapt towards him. One of the minions was destroyed by Tomura’s hand. You just watched the fight from afar, you couldn’t move so you just stood there.
When Overhaul and his minions left, you collapsed on your knees, shaking as tears pooled from your eyes at the loss of a close friend and ally. You lay your head down towards the ground as you hug your trembling form.
In that moment, Tomura saw you. His ruby eyes wide behind Father. He traipsed toward you and knelt down beside you as he gently placed four fingers on your shoulder.
Your breath hitched at his touch, body tensing slightly as you peaked a look at your leader.
The look in his eyes showed concern, an emotion you never saw from Tomura until now. Without thinking, you threw yourself on him, wrapping your arms around his neck as you cried in his shoulder. You remember feeling him tense before he relaxed and placed a four fingered touch on your back. In that moment, you knew he didn’t hate you anymore, or well, maybe he just tolerated you then. You cherished this moment as the first time you confirmed he didn’t hate you.
The moment he announced Toga and Twice were to join The Eight Precepts, it shocked you. You respected his decisions, but you couldn’t help but remember what Overhaul did to Magne…
It was the first time you saw his face without the hand he called “Father.” You took in his features. There were so many scars on his face, the whole area near his eyes up to his forehead were littered with them. There were two scars that stood out to you, one over his right eye and one on the left side of his lips. Near his very chapped lips was a small mole on the right side of them. His silvery-blue hair framed his scarred face. Seeing his gentle expression he wore as he spoke to Toga and Twice gave you a warm, fuzzy feeling in your stomach. It only seemed to grow the more you heard his voice.
As soon as he finished speaking, he asked you to follow him. You didn’t know what to expect as you left the room with the rest of the League. The moment the door closed behind you, Tomura gripped your chin and motioned you to look at him.
“I couldn’t let him have you. Why though? What is it about you…why don’t I…hate you…?” Tomura trailed off his eyes darted to the floor, his other hand scratching his neck. It seemed more like he was voicing his thoughts than he was speaking to you. He let go of your chin and brought that hand to his neck, scratching it.
You still kept your eyes on him, shocked at his confession. Hesitating for a moment, you slowly moved your left hand to rest it on his right shoulder. You wore a small, gentle smile as you touch his shoulder, causing him to stop scratching. His eyes darted back up to yours. “Well, I don’t hate you either, Shigaraki.”
Tomura let out a quiet laugh before wrapping his arms around you, “just don’t tell anyone about this, okay (y/n)?”
You giggled, “ok, I won’t tell.”
Seeing Tomura’s feral, chaotic expression as he cut off Overhaul’s arm was the best form of revenge you could ever think of. It sent pleasant chills throughout your body as you saw how terrified Overhaul was. You couldn’t help but flash a smile. It was a victory you were so proud of as your feelings for Tomura only grew.
As time went on, the two of you grew closer, practically inseparable.
The rest of the League of Villains eventually found out. More so, Toga caught the two of you snuggled together when everyone else was asleep. As soon as everyone was awake, they knew. Oh how embarrassed you were, blushing scarlet. You were at least relieved it wasn’t a secret anymore.
Tomura would always have you sit next to him in every new temporary hideout they found. When you had the chance, you’d play one of your favorite pokémon games. The moment you noticed Tomura also had one from that generation, you squealed, “oh my gosh! You have one too?!! We should totally battle and trade pokémon!!”
Tomura was shocked for a moment from you gushing about what the two of you could do together, but seeing how happy you were about the whole thing made him smile, a genuine smile.
You felt him stroke the right side of your face, rubbing small circles into your cheeks. It made you blush, the warm fuzzy feeling spread throughout your whole body.
Next thing you knew, he slammed his lips against yours. It shocked you for a moment, your eyes widened at the unfamiliar feeling of chapped lips on your soft ones. You quickly melted into the kiss and returned it, wrapping your arms around his neck as you pulled yourself closer to him. Sparks flowed through you as you relished the feeling, never wanting it to end. As quickly as it happened, it ended. Your lips were a bit red and puffy from the encounter, but you didn’t care. The giddy feeling increased as you just rested hour head on Tomura’s chest. You finally had your first kiss with Tomura. From then on, you started calling him by Tomura.
He stopped wearing Father all the time. You loved seeing his face, every scar, the shape of his eyes, and especially his mole. “You’re so beautiful, Tomura.” You’d tell him. He always gave you a questioning look, “are you serious?”
“Of course I’m serious,” you giggled softly, kissing his mole. It made him blush whenever you did that.
Oh, he loved it when you’d scratch and play with his hair. He always looked so relaxed, so content as you ruffled his silvery-blue locks. You loved hearing his quiet grunts as he leaned into your touch. Moments like this were everything to you, but you knew they wouldn’t last forever.
Anxiety entered you again as Tomura fought Gigantomachia. He fought so hard, but hardly ate or slept. It scared you. ‘Please be careful Tomura…I don’t want to lose you…,’ you thought constantly, putting you on edge. You did what you could fighting with him, but it was never enough. It frightened you that he’d take this fight too far and die from lack of nourishment or sleep even.
Each time he took his never long enough break, you made sure he ate what he could and rested.
Tomura knew at this point to listen to you when you made these kinds of demands, he enjoyed it when you showed so much care, though he’d never tell you. He’d just give you a soft, tired expression, mouthing a “thank you” before taking his short nap as you watched over him, cleaning his wounds.
You grew livid when the Meta Liberation Army challenged the League of Villains. “Just who do they think they are?!! The audacity…oh if they think they’re going to win, they’re solemnly mistaken!” You rebuked.
Tomura and the rest of the League were shocked since you’ve never raised your voice or showed this level of anger. Though when Tomura heard how confident you were, he couldn’t help himself. He pulled you aside for a moment, “you ready (y/n)?”
“Oh, I’m ready to prove them to never mess with us!”
He gave you a quick kiss, happy with your response before describing the plan.
You weren’t sure if it would work, but you really just wanted to make the MLA eat their words.
The whole fight put you on edge with Tomura being very sleep deprived. As soon as the Twice clones swarmed around you, Spinner, and Tomura, Tomura commanded, “(y/n), go with the Twice clones. I…I don’t…want you to get hurt…”
“But Tomura, I want to fight the final boss with you!!” You cried out, anxiety growing as you trembled with fear at the thoughts of leaving him to fight alone. 'What if I never see you again?’
He pulled you into a crushing hug and kissed you softly, tasting blood and a bit of vomit. Stopping, he whispered softly in your ear “please (y/n), I don’t want to lose you…you’ll be safer with Twice. So please, go…”
You look at Tomura, tears forming at the corners of your eyes. Nodding, you give him one last kiss before leaving with the clones leading you towards Toga.
Soon the fight ended as you watched Deika City crumble at the center. You helped the Twice clones patch up Toga the best you could, but you couldn’t help but worry for Tomura’s safety.
The moment you heard Spinner cry out “Shigaraki” was the moment you sprint towards him. You were so scared he was in trouble, tears streamed down your face as you went. As soon as you got to the center of the fight, it was over.
You saw Tomura, confident and smirking maliciously at the rest of the MLA, daring them to challenge him. Despite his expression, you saw how fatigued, injured, and how much pain he was in. He needed medical attention immediately.
You moved quickly, but cautiously to Tomura as you help him stand, feeling him tremble from exhaustion. “Tomura…I’m so happy you’re still here, I was so worried,” you paused to look him directly in the eyes, “you need medical attention now or when you can get it…”
Everyone was all fixed up, receiving their much needed medical attention. Heck, Mr. Compress even got his sushi he wanted so much. You enjoyed this small moment where everyone was finally taken care of.
The League and MLA were now officially merged forming the Paranormal Liberation Front. Tomura had you sit on his right thigh throughout the whole assembly. You tried to hold in a blush, but couldn’t help the giddiness you always felt around Tomura. He made you feel safe and happy.
As soon as Tomura finished talking to Dr. Ujiko, you helped him back up. “(Y/n), you’re coming with me,” he commanded.
You didn’t hesitate, “okay Tomura. Just know I’ll help you along the way. I don’t want you to fall again.”
Now, here the two of you were, cuddled up on the couch, playing one of your favorite games.
You paused the game, “Tomura, I’ll be back in a few minutes. I’ll just be in the bathroom.”
Tomura gazed at you with an unreadable expression, “alright (y/n).”
Standing up, you make your way to the bathroom, 'what was with Tomura’s expression just then? He doesn’t normally look at me like that. Eh, maybe I’m just over thinking things,’ you thought.
As you were in the bathroom, Tomura took something out of his pocket, smiling at it.
“You’re going to be in for a surprise when you return (y/n),” he whispered, replacing your controller with the object.
When you return, you notice Tomura still had the unreadable expression on his face. You look down at the couch cushion, “Tomura, where’s my controller?” You asked.
Tomura stays silent.
“Wait…what’s this?” You look down. On your seat lay Master Ball.
You picked it up, examining it before opening. Suddenly, the world stopped around you as you stare at the object inside.
Inside the Master Ball laid a ring. Not just any ring. It was one of the pokémon engagement rings…oh, how unexpected this truly is.
You couldn’t stop the tears from forming as you look at Tomura, wide eyed. “T-Tomura…i-is this what I think it is?” You gasped, covering your mouth partially.
Tomura pats your seat with his right hand as he lightly scratches is neck with the other.
It took you a moment to register what he was doing, but when you did, you took your seat.
“(Y/n), give me the Master Ball,” he gently grasped your hand and looked you directly in the eyes.
“O-okay,” you mumbled handing it to him.
He shifts his body to face yours, one hand stroked your face as you relax at the touch.
“(Y/n), I…I know I haven’t been the best person to you…at least at first.”
“Yeah, sorry I asked about "Father” when we first met…I didn’t mean you any ill will…I was just curious about it,“ you apologized, slumping your shoulders as your eyes darted to the floor.
"It’s alright, (y/n). You didn’t know then. Besides, I’ve moved past that,” he reassured.
He held the ring towards you as you listened, “I hated you when we first met, I’ll admit that. Now….now I just can’t be without you! I never thought I’d ever not hate someone, or care about one at that. You’re the only living thing in this shitty world I actually like. Now then, (y/n), will you be my Player 2?”
He looked at you with pleading eyes. There was also a tinge of anxiety within them that read, 'Please say yes, (y/n)…’
You were a crying mess. Tears streamed down you face as you were exhilarated with joy. So filled with it, you threw yourself on Tomura. “Yes, yes!! I’ll be your Player 2!!!”
Tomura’s face lightened exponentially as he took the ring out if the Master Ball and placed it on your left ring finger.
It had such intricate designs. He was so careful choosing the ring, he got one with (favorite pokémon) on the band. It sparkled as you moved your finger.
You stopped crying into his shoulder and looked at him, “I love you Tomura!” You cried happily.
Tomura leaned in and kissed you, the bandages on his chin tickled yours as you deepened the kiss.
“I love you too, (y/n), he soothed, breaking the kiss.
"Did you happen to pick the Master Ball because of its 100% catch rate?” You asked, blushing a little as sly smile formed on your face.
Tomura blushed at this, “well I’d say it worked, didn’t it (y/n)?”
You giggled, “yeah you’re right.”
Snuggling closer to Tomura, you pick up your controller as the two of you continued playing.
