Yerin's POV
I sat down on the couch with a small sigh as I looked around the room in search of my friends. We had come to a party together to celebrate finishing our last exam but after a good 30 minutes, they had disappeared and I was left alone.
"I don't know what I expected from Sooyoung and Hayoung." I grumbled to myself annoyedly as I glanced around and cringed distastefully at the sights of couples making out on the other couches. The only person not making out with someone was the girl sat next to me. She seemed to be observing the house just like I had been doing.
I crossed my legs and moved to the beat of the song slightly before raising my brows as a boy approached me with a wide grin.
"Want a drink?" He asked sweetly as he handed me a red cup filled with something. I just shrugged and took it before thanking him, watching as he winked and walked off towards the crowd of people dancing. I brought the cup to my nose and smelled it, not recognizing the scent, but deciding to down it anyway.
"You probably shouldn't drink that." I heard a low voice state from beside me. I turned to face the person and felt my heart race as I took in how attractive the girl was. She was leaning against the couch casually, one hand holding a red cup identical to mine while the other was pointing towards my cup.
"Why not?" I asked confusedly as I moved the drink away from my lips and stared down at it.
"Those guys like to add roofies in the drinks and hand them out to pretty girls." The unknown girl explained as she reached over to grab the drink from my hand. I watched as she poured the drink on the floor before glancing back at me with a satisfied grin.
"Thank you. I don't come to parties often so..." I mumbled shyly as I felt my face get red at her blatant staring.
"No worries, but if you really want a drink, you can take mine." She offered as she handed me her nearly filled cup, urging me to take it. I grabbed it carefully before bringing it to my lips, enjoying the taste of the hard liquor.
"Do you usually just accept drinks from strangers?" The girl questioned after I had downed the rest of the cup, smirking at me as she raked her eyes over my face before stopping at my lips. I widened my eyes at that and quickly glanced at the now empty cup with worried eyes.
"Oh my god." I spoke up as I quickly threw it away from me and bit my lip fearfully.
"Hey, I was just joking. Don't worry, I promise nothing was in there. I don't know if you noticed, but I drank a little bit of it and I wouldn't have had some if there was something inside of it." She told me softly as she reached over to grab my wrist while smiling reassuringly.
"Sorry, I'm just paranoid now." I admitted with a relieved sigh before glancing down at her hand which was still wrapped around my wrist.
"What? You don't let strangers touch you?" She teased with a soft laugh, making me flush furiously as she let go of me and winked.
"We only met five minutes ago, yet you're teasing me so much." I mumbled with a soft pout as I stared at her and tried to ignore how good she looked in her black jeans and leather jacket.
"You're cute." She stated with a gentle smile as she stared at my lips again before running a hand through her hair and then sticking her hand out.
"I'm Hwang Eunbi, but I go by SinB."
"Jung Yerin."
"So, Jung Yerin, do you wanna get out of here? Maybe go do something more fun?"

"I didn't take you as a coffee shop girl." I teased the shorter girl as she held the door open for me and walked in afterwards.
"Well, I'll have you know I've been coming here since I was in middle school." She grinned as she grabbed my hand and pulled me towards a booth in the far end. I bit back a smile as I felt how soft her hand was before sitting across from her when she let go of it.
"Do you like coffee? Because if you don't, I can get you a hot chocolate or some tea." SinB offered kindly as she called a waitress over and waited for my answer.
"Coffee's fine." I stated simply as I shot her a cute smile, earning a nod from her.
"Eunbi-yah! You didn't tell me you had a girlfriend!" The waitress exclaimed happily as she squeezed SinB's hand while smiling brightly at me.
"Oh, we're not together! We just met less than an hour ago." The girl across from me quickly explained, getting red in the face at the older woman's words. I smiled warmly at the sight of the girl being shy, only having seen the confident and flirtatious side of her in the little time we had started talking.
"But she's so pretty! Eunbi, I already told you to go out there and get someone! You're a funny and beautiful young lady, you deserve to—"
"Ahjumma, please! Can we just order?" SinB mumbled embarrassedly as she hid behind her hands and avoided my gaze.
"Oh, alright. I already know what that brat's going to drink, so what would you like sweetie?"
"Hey!"
I giggled loudly at their interactions, being deeply amused at how close they seemed to be before glancing over at the lady with a kind smile.
"Can I have an iced coffee, please?"
"Sure. I'll have your things ready in a few minutes."
I nodded and smiled politely before directing my gaze to the girl in front of me who was already staring at me, much to my surprise. I felt my cheeks flush once again and clasped my hands nervously as she just shot me a cute smile.
"You're really adorable when you blush, you know that?" SinB stated with a dreamy sigh before widening her eyes and gasping.
"Oh my god! I did not mean to say that out loud. Shit, shit, shit..." She muttered over and over again, groaning at her mistake as she tried not to look at me. I stared at her in amusement before resting my elbows on the table and placing the palms of my hands on my cheeks.
"You know, when you first spoke to me, I thought you were this badass and confident girl. But here you are, blushing and being all cute and shy." I teased her playfully, enjoying the huffs of annoyance she let out as she rolled her eyes.
"And I thought you were nice." SinB grumbled with a small frown as she crossed her arms while looking away from me.
"How old are you?" I asked her with a questioning brow, watching as she gasped offendedly.
"Now you think I'm childish?"
I laughed loudly at that before shaking my head and reaching over to smack her shoulder playfully.
"I was just asking. I just wanted to know if we were the same age." I explained with a wide grin, causing the girl to chuckle before nodding in understanding.
"21. What about you?"
"23."
"What? Really?" She asked in disbelief before standing up slightly so she could lean over and get closer to my face. I stayed still as she inspected it, biting my lip when she sat back down and crossed her arms over her chest.
"You're really hot for an older girl." SinB stated simply after awhile as she continued to observe my face.
"You're saying that as if I'm 40 or something." I mumbled with a roll of my eyes, causing her to laugh loudly before shaking her head.
"I just meant that, you're like the hottest 23 year old I've ever met." She explained with a small shrug of her shoulders, making me narrow my eyes at her.
"That sounds like bullshit."
"Anyway, the point is that you're hot. Just take the compliment." SinB laughed as she threw a rolled up napkin at me, making me laugh along with her.
"I guess you're pretty hot too." I teased her lightly, earning a wide smile before she looked up when the waitress came back with our drinks.
"Enjoy." The woman stated with a knowing smirk as she glanced between SinB and I repeatedly. The girl across from me rolled her eyes with an amused grin before taking her glass and reaching for the straw in her drink.
"A strawberry milkshake? I don't know why I thought you were the type to drink a plain, black coffee."
"Probably because my soul is black." She stated seriously, looking at me with blank eyes before laughing loudly.
"You're also a loser. I learn new things the more we talk."
"Well, obviously. That's the point of a date..." SinB mumbled shyly as she rubbed the back of her neck and hurriedly took another sip of her drink. I stared at her and smiled endearingly before nodding at her previous words.
"I guess you're right."

"You're going out with her again?" Hayoung asked me with a slight smirk as she walked into my room and saw me setting some clothes on my bed. I just ignored her and tapped my foot anxiously as I tried to choose what outfit to wear tonight.
Ever since the night of the party, SinB and I had been going out on dates and hanging out whenever we had time. We had been seeing each other for roughly a month now, though I was still really shy around her, especially when she flirted with me.
"I think the yellow flower dress is cute. You should wear it." My best friend told me encouragingly before smiling and then walking out, heading back to her room. I glanced down at the item and bit my lip as I thought about how good I looked in yellow. I decided to wear it and quickly put it on before walking to my bathroom and getting started on my hair and face. I opted for lighter makeup and chose to style my hair half up, half down, making sure my bangs looked nice after positioning them several times. I looked at the time on my phone before spraying some perfume on myself and leaving the apartment I lived in with my best friends.

I got off the bus in front of the park I was supposed to meet SinB at and squinted my eyes as I looked around for her. I decided to have a better look and crossed the street, walking on the path along the park.
"Yerin, over here!" I heard a familiar voice call from behind me, making me turn around and to spot the younger girl sitting down on a bench. She smiled as she saw me walking over before grabbing the two drinks next to her on the ground and meeting me halfway. The girl stopped in front of me and quirked her lips up shyly as she handed me what looked like a smoothie.
"I was going to get you flowers, but I figured that it'd be annoying to carry when we walked around. I ended up getting this instead and I don't know if you like them, but I do so I just thought that—"
"I love smoothies." I cut her off with a warm smile as I grabbed it and took a small sip.
"Oh, okay. Good." SinB mumbled as she let out a sigh of relief before avoiding my gaze as I stared at her. I giggled to myself as she looked up and then quickly looked away as she took a long sip of her drink when our eyes had met.
"You look cute. You should wear denim more often." I told her sweetly as I admired her simple, yet fashionable outfit. She was wearing an oversized jean jacket with a white t-shirt tucked into her black jeans and her black doc martens.
"Thank you. You look cute too...and pretty." The younger girl stated softly, a tint of red appearing on her cheeks as I smiled brightly and then grabbed her hand.
"C'mon, I wanna go feed the ducks!"

"When did you start liking ducks?" SinB asked me curiously as we sat on a bench in front of the pond in front of us, throwing small pieces of bread to the animals.
"I think when I was about six. My cousin took me to an amusement park and he ended up winning a human size, plush duck for me. I still have it in my room actually." I answered shyly, mentally facepalming for telling her I still owned a stuffed animal at the age of 23.
"You're adorable, you know that?" The younger girl mused with a slight grin as she threw a piece of bread in the water.
"I've been told a few times."
She looked at me that and smiled brightly before grabbing my hand and caressing the back of it tenderly. I blushed instantly at the action and bit my lip as I looked ahead at the small pond, ignoring the girl's obvious stare.
"You look like a duck." SinB stated absentmindedly after a few minutes of silence, making me look at her with a questioning brow.
"Do you compare people to animals often?" I teased her lightly, earning a gentle shoulder shove before she shook her head and smiled at me.
"Ducklings are fluffy, right? And your cheeks are fluffy. I don't know, it just makes sense to me." The younger girl explained with a small shrug, making me smile at her words before nodding in agreement.
"I like how your mind works, B."
"B?"
"Yeah. It's a new nickname, do you like it?"
SinB stared at me with a gentle gaze before nodding slowly and then standing up, pulling me with her as we were still holding hands. We walked towards the sidewalk before the younger girl placed her arm around my waist and pulled me closer to her. I got red at the thought of how easily she held me like this before glancing around as people looked at us with soft smiles.
"Do you wanna walk around for a bit? Maybe do some shopping? I need to buy some shirts." SinB told me as she glanced down at me for a few seconds, raising her brow as she smirked at my lack of response.
"An answer would be nice, Jung Yerin." She teased me, making me roll my eyes as I pushed her away from me and walked off.
"Aww, is the duckling mad?"
"Shut up you asshole." I grumbled in faux annoyance before giggling when she walked in front of me and poked my cheeks cutely.
"If you continue being this cute, I might just kiss you." SinB stated boldly before winking at me and then grabbing my hand, pulling me towards the stores as we saw crowds of people and bright lights. I bit my lip at her words and fought the urge to squeal out in delight at the thought of the girl I liked wanting to kiss me too. I pushed back those thoughts after a few seconds and focused on our date, wanting to cherish every moment I spent with the younger girl.
"Hey, B. Can we get some coffee first?" I asked the girl beside me as I stopped walking to tug on her arm and pout at her cutely in an attempt to persuade her.
She stared at me with a slight grin before cupping my cheeks and leaning in to place a light kiss on my forehead. I gasped softly at the unexpected action before staring at the girl with wide eyes, feeling my heart flutter as her eyes softened when they met mine.
"God, you're so cute. You have no idea how crazy you make me." SinB whispered delicately before her lips quirked up into that beautiful smile I grew to like more and more every time I saw it. I smiled bashfully before gently grabbing her wrists and pulling her hands away from my face.
"You owe me an iced coffee for making me blush so much tonight."

I got out of the younger girl's pick-up truck and looked around in excitement as I realized where SinB had taken me after we had done some shopping for a few hours.
"I've never been to one of these." I mumbled out in amazement as I took in the view of all the cars lined up in front of a huge screen.
SinB laughed at my expression before getting some blankets from the back seats and then opening the back of her pick-up truck so we could get in.
"I was confused when you parked backwards, but I get it now." I stated with a huge grin as I watched the girl get on the truck and stick her hand out for me.
"I also brought some snacks." SinB told me as she wiggled her brows playfully and shook the bag she had in her free hand. I laughed at her face as I grabbed onto her hand and allowed her to help pull me up.
"Oh, I almost forgot!" She exclaimed loudly before jumping off and heading towards the back seat. I watched her curiously and smiled widely when she came back with a huge pile of pillows. She threw them onto the truck and I placed them on top of the blankets as she got up.
"This is actually really comfortable." I told SinB as I lied down on the soft blankets and placed my head on the pillows I had propped against the car. She glanced at me and smiled before lying down next to me and grabbing the big blanket she had brought to put over our bodies.
"Come here." She mumbled cutely as she lifted the blanket slightly and patted the spot next to her. I bit my lip and bit back a smile at how affectionate she was being before getting close enough that I could smell her fruity perfume. I watched as she then grabbed the bag filled with snacks and dumped it on the blanket on top of us. I quickly took the skittles and opened the wrapper when I saw that the movie was starting.
"What are we watching?" I asked her curiously as I poured some skittles into the palm of my hand and started to eat some.
"Friday the 13th." SinB stated as she took some skittles from my hand and shot me a knowing smirk. I felt the colour drain from my face at the thought of the horror movie playing when we were out in the woods and shook my head vigorously.
"No, no, no! SinB, please, I'm serious." I whined out quietly, shaking her shoulders as I stood up slightly and looked at her pleadingly. She just chuckled and grabbed my hands, interlocking our fingers before placing our connected hands on top of her stomach.
"Relax, I'll be right here. You can hold onto me if you get too scared." I bit my lip and stared at her before sighing in defeat and nodding as I got back down beside her, letting go of her hands in the process.
"You totally just planned this so I would cling onto you." I grumbled annoyedly as I placed my head on the girl's chest and draped my arm over her stomach.
"Yeah, and it's working." I rolled my eyes at her words, knowing that she probably had that stupid smirk on her face.
"How do my abs feel?" She asked teasingly, making me groan into her chest before suddenly feeling shy as I realized that I could in fact feel how toned she was. I gulped inaudibly and thanked the Gods that we had a blanket over us, not wanting to think about the undoubtedly embarrassing reaction I'd have after seeing her muscles through her thin shirt.
"Oh, shut up. Why are you so cocky anyway?"
"It's not cockiness, baby. It's called confidence."
I widened my eyes as I heard the pet name and quickly looked up at the younger girl who was already staring at me with a nervous smile. I watched as she bit her lip and waited for me to say something, getting red when I just continued to look at her.
"I'm sorry, it just slipped out." SinB quickly defended herself as she rubbed the back of her neck and avoided my gaze.
"I liked it." I whispered shyly, making her widen her eyes as she nodded slowly and then began to smile.
"Oh, thank god! I thought I had scared you off for a second there." I giggled at her words before leaning up to peck her cheek tenderly, enjoying the way her body tensed up because of that one action.
"I really want to kiss you right now." The younger girl confessed when I pulled away, watching as she looked at my lips lustfully. I swallowed nervously and licked my lips, earning a small whimper from SinB as she seemed to be uncomfortable.
"What's wro—" I widened my eyes as the girl placed her hands on my cheeks and quickly leaned forward, connecting our lips eagerly. I slowly started to come to my senses and reciprocated the kiss, shutting my eyes and placing my hands on the girl's shoulders as I moved the blanket and shifted my position so that I was sitting on top of her stomach.
I felt her hands leave my face as they moved down to my lower back, pushing on it lightly and making me lean forward. I moaned quietly into the girl's mouth as she deepened the kiss, making our tongues clash messily. I started to feel lightheaded after a few more seconds and reluctantly pulled away. I stared at SinB and waited for her eyes to open as I glanced at her swollen lips, my heart beating erratically at the sight.
"You have no idea how long I've been wanting to do that for." The shorter girl whispered breathlessly as she opened her eyes and looked into mine.
"And when you licked your lips, it was just so hot and I couldn't control myself." She continued as she moved of her hands to my face, caressing my cheek lightly.
"I'm glad you kissed me." I admitted shyly, feeling my cheeks tint red as SinB chuckled and nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, me too. I just didn't think it would be in a drive in, in the middle of a horror movie. Especially not at the part when someone's getting murdered." I laughed softly at the words before biting my lip and staring at her fondly.
"I think it was a perfect first kiss."
