Chapter Text
It was sunday night and I was getting ready to return to UA for the week while my mom cooked dinner when there was a knock at the door.
“I’ll get it!” I called to my mom
I opened the door and froze in shock
“Been a while hasn't it my boy”
“Wh-what are you doing here?”
“I came to see you of course after all i am your father”
He easily pushed past me into the house
“Izuku who-”
My mom gasped stopping mid sentence
“Hello Inko, it's been too long”
Gaining her composer she replied with a slightly shaky voice
“Not long enough, you're not welcome here”
Something that looked like anger flashed in my father's eyes but it was gone as soon as it came
“I have a right to see my son”
“You lost that right when you left 11 years ago, if Izuku wants to see you then we’ll work something out but for now leave”
My father looked like he was about to argue but changed his mind
“Fine” my father growled turning to leave
On his way out he grabbed my shoulder and squeezed hard enough to leave a mark
“I’ll see you soon Izuku”
My mom had tears in her eyes and once he left she let them fall. I couldn't stop myself from crying either.
I hugged her until we both had calmed down.
“Oh Izuku, you know I wouldn't stop you if you wanted to see him again, just because I can't forgive doesn't mean you can't”
“Of course I Don't want to see him mom, he abandoned us, abandoned me and never once wrote or called, I don't want anything to do with him”
She gave me a watery smile “ Alright then let's eat, then it's off to bed you have school tomorrow”
After dinner I found myself staring at the ceiling in bed wondering why he showed up all of a sudden, I'm smart enough to know it wasn't because he missed me. I sighed turning over on my side. I guess I should try and get some rest, but I do hate that my mom will be alone until next weekend. I hope he doesn't show up again despite what he said to me earlier about seeing me soon.
Finally after tossing and turning I fell into fitful sleep with only a few hours to spare before my alarm would go off.
