"Now, Manny," says Damon Gant, eyes stern and arms behind his back. "Isn't there something you'd like to tell me?"
"Other than to leave me alone, I take it? I believe not," von Karma says and returns his attention to the newspaper on his desk. Nothing but sensationalist drivel, but still decidedly easier on the eyes than that abhorrent orange of Gant's suit.
"How about something that starts with 'I am' and ends with 'sorry?' Just an idea."
"If you insist." He keeps his eyes on the paper, but can't help but give a small smirk. "I am not sorry."
