Enmity - Ziva's First Aid

Summary:

The team has to take a first aid refresher course, actually all agents do, but Tony definitely regrets his choice of partner for the course.

Another dictionary.com word of the day drabble. This time from 02/16/2003 for the word enmity.

Work Text:

Tony rubbed his chest. He definitely regretted having Ziva as his partner for their first aid refresher course. He’d thought that if he gave her a chance that her enmity towards him would abate some.

Boy, was he wrong. He was positive that she was actually trying to kill him when she demonstrated the Heimlich on him and the force with which she stabbed him with the epi pen was definitely enough to leave a bruise. That was one of the most painful first aid courses he’d ever taken.

He told Gibbs to mark her down as a last resort when applying first aid at a crime scene. Maybe it was just him that she treated this way, but he definitely didn’t trust her with anyone they were actually trying to save. Still, he appreciated the first aid refresher courses.

They didn’t often arrive at a scene in time to save someone, but when they did being certified and knowing exactly what to do always made Tony more confident and had saved more than one person’s life in the course of his years as a police officer and NCIS agent.

Notes:

The dictionary.com series has no stories already written for it after this one, so I will be posting at least no more stories before I stop posting again. I'm hoping to get more stories written before then, so that I don't stop posting for a while. Hopefully I'll be able to get more written before then, but who knows.
