"That was a tough one, wasn't it?" Norton chuckled as he patted Aesop's back apologetically. "Sorry for not being able to get out with you."
"No, it's fine. I apologize too for leaving first.." Aesop shook his head as he let out a tired smile. "I'll be heading first to my bedroom. Thank you for your hardwork today, Mr. Norton."
Norton waved his hand as the embalmer's figure disappeared behind the wall before he felt a presence behind him. He turned around and blinked. A looming tall figure of the reptilian, silently stood behind him. Norton wasn't the type who would hold a grudge. It was another match anyway so with his usual bright smile, he patted the other's arm.
"Thank you for your hardwork today. Sorry, it seems I stunned you quite a few times.." he scratched his cheek awkwardly.
The reptilian, Luchino, just waved his hand and grinned. "Nah, it's fine. It hurts but that's what you're good at and I think you did a good job. Good work."
Norton just let out a small chuckle. "It's an honour to received such a praise from you, o Mr. Hunter."
"Psh, shut it." Luchino chuckled as he patted Norton's head. "You know, I wanted to make it as a draw since you were the last survivor left.. but I guess I'll treat that win as a gift from you." He landed a quick small peck on Norton's cheek. "A dopo, amore."
And with that he gone as he whistled, leaving a dumbfounded Norton with his cheeks blushing brightly.
