Girls Rule The World(Preview/Oneshots)

Summary:

This story is basically one shots of a story that I've been working on. First chapter is the basic world-building, description for the story, characters, and all that jazz.

Would like to get feedback on these oneshots. What you think is good, what you think could be improved, what should be taken out completely, something should be explained more(remember, these are just oneshots and ideas), and ect.Feedback is important!

Summary(as of now):
In this universe the discrimination against women isn't very noticable in everyday jobs, or when your just out going grocery shopping, normal things like that. Discrimination is very prominent when it came to hero society. Whether it comes to being a firefighter, a police officer, or a superhero and ect. If you were a woman you would be verbally talk downed for even saying aloud that you wanted to be a hero. If you tried to go to a hero school, you would be mocked at the entrance exam, and if you did pass it would be seen as a challenge to see 'how long can she last with the big boys'. It usually wasn't very long.

But as we all know when people have a good cause, they'll fight for it. And that's just what these girls(and guy) did.

Chapter 1: Meeting Mei Hatsume One shot

Summary:

(Haven't figured out a name for my OC yet. She is half Japanese, half African American,  kind and loyal to a fault. Very protective and motherly at her core, but she can bust it down with the rest of them (the 'rest of them' is Mina😂)

Notes:

To put things in perspective. Everyone in this scene is in their second year of middle school, so like twelve/thirteen years old. Mei is the first girl they meet, as she is pretty vital to the whole operation. Midoriya and (OC) have been training at the beach since the beginning of middle school.

****Big Change****
UA is a college instead of a High School(To give the girls and plot more time)

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Meeting Hatsume Mei

"Jab, jab, right-hand, slip, slip, right-hand, right-hand, hook, right-hand. Okay, Izu?" Aaralyn asked. Izuku nodded his head as a confirmation and got into position.

"Jab, jab, right-hand, slip, slip…." As Izuku was about to do a right-hand punch Aaralyn punched him in the stomach instead. Not hard enough to bruise, but enough to get his attention. Izuku stumbled back from the unexpected hit.

"Ow, what was that for," Izuku whined while he held his stomach.

"One, don't mumble your moves as you say them, that will only hurt you in the end, even if it does help you focus. Someone who is even slightly faster than you could block you and hit you. Second, if someone does catch you off guard and hit you like that, don't get too caught up in the pain, and don't let them know it hurt you, it encourages them," Aaralyn replied as she stretched. It was 12:02pm.Aaralyn and Izuku had been training on the beach for about three and a half hours. Aaralyn and Izuku were about to pack up and go back to Inko's house for lunch.

"When did you get so knowledgeable about boxing," Izuku asked, genuinely curious.

"YouTube, obviously," Aaralyn said, feigning seriousness. Izuku laughed, snorting a bit, which then caused Aaralyn to laugh and Izuku to blush cherry red. The familiar sound of metal clanking together and falling to the sand stopped the duo's laughter. Izuku looked to Aaralyn. Aaralyn nodded her head to Izuku as she stood up and walked the direction of where the noise had come from, Izuku followed closely behind her.

"God Dangit!" A voice exclaimed from behind a pile of metal. Aaralyn felt Izuku jump at the sound. The mysterious person seemed to hear Aaralyn and Izuku approaching.

"Oh, Hello! Could you help me get some of this scrap for my babies!" A pink haired girl exclaimed. The girl is a reasonably short girl with quite a mature build. She had shoulder-length salmon pink which was styled into thick dreadlocks and was side swept to her right. Her eyes were wide, and she had irises yellow with a cross in the centre, making them look somewhat like scope lenses.

"Babies!?," Izuku questioned. His voice a lot more squeaky than he intended, he actually intended to sound normal for once in front of another girl other than Aaralyn, but alas, fate does not love him. At least, that's what he thinks.

"Not real babies, silly. I'm talking about my inventions, but I call them my babies," the pink haired girl explained,"Also, my name is Hatsume Mei, but just call me Mei. Nice to meet 'ya."

"Oh, well my name is Aaralyn Monroe, but just call me Aaralyn, formalities aren't my style."

"Oh, um, I'm Midoriya Izuku. You can just call me Deku or Midoriya. Whichever you prefer." Izuku said while looking down and rubbing the back of his neck.

"Hmm, so you're the shy one, and you're the assertive one,"she stated, pointing to Izuku and Aaralyn respectively. Before the two even got to respond, Mei clasped her hands together and started talking.

"Let's get to work,"she exclaimed.

Aaralyn, Mei, and Izuku immediately started to get to work, putting scraps into the bin that Mei brought to carry the parts in.  After about 35 minutes of 'ow', 'stop stepping on my foot!' and 'ahh, a crab' the trio had gotten enough scraps to fill Mei's bin.

"Wow, that was so much quicker than usual," Mei said, amazed at quick that was,"Do you think that you can help me next time I'm looking for scraps?"

Aaralyn and Izuku looked at each other and smiled. All in all, she seemed like a fun and energetic person that they could both get along with. Someone that they could both call friend. They hadn't had a trio since...Kacchan left, it would be a nice shift in dynamic.

"Yeah, sure. When are you gonna be here?" Aaralyn asked. Mei slightly blushed at the question.

"Heh, I don't really have a schedule. I come here kind of randomly, I didn't really think about that," Her tone hadn't really changed, but her stances showed that she was slightly embarrassed about not thinking that far ahead.

"Well, we'll just exchange numbers then. Do you have a phone?" Aaralyn asked.

"Yeah, but I don't have it on me. I left it at my house. My parents keep trying to keep an eye on me so they can keep from inventing. I want to be a hero, a hero who makes inventions for herself and others to use, but they say that it's too dangerous," Mei snarked.

"Same, it's like just because your a girl, you can't be a hero. Why, what reason do they have to shame us for wanting to become heroes,"

"Exactly how I feel, being quirkless makes it even harder for you to get people not to just think of you as a liability or as useless," Izuku sighed.

The trio looked at each other and smiled.

"I think that we are going to get along just fine," Mei smiled.

"So do I," Aaralyn smiled.

"Me three,"Izuku grinned.

Notes:

Tell me if I did Mei's character correctly, I tried to make her blunt and a sort of 'get down to business'(to defeat, the huns) kind of person, but still energetic and friendly. Tell me how I did in the comments. Also ask questions and give ideas if you have a better idea for something than I do.

Chapter 2: Meeting Tsuyu Asui & Ochako Uraraka

Summary:

In today's chapter we are meeting two more members of the group, only four more to go after this chapter.

Notes:

Finally gave (OC) a name, planning to change that in chapter two, and maybe chapter one. I don't know yet. Explanation of her name is in the notes at the bottom.

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Chapter Text

Meeting Tsuyu Asui & Ochako Uraraka:

"Are we done yet," Mei groaned. Aaralyn, Mei, and Izuku were at the grocery store, getting some items that Inko had asked for.

"No, Mei. We are almost done though, we only need one more thing," Aaralyn explained. Mei groaned loudly to show how displeased she was.

"How about after we take the food back home, we go back to the lab and test out some of your new inventions," Izuku suggested. Mei's mood did a one-eighty, she went from grumpy to a squealing little girl. Her squeal caused heads to turn, and people to grumble about the noise. Izuku letting out strings of apologies to the other customers, Mei ignoring everyone's dismay, and Aaralyn simply sighing at her best friends' antics. The trio had started walking down the ice cream section, looking for some Neapolitan ice cream sandwiches since they were Inko's favorite.

"Tsu~chan, can you help me get this," Someone said, catching the trio's attention. The girl had been seemingly talking to a shorter girl with a relatively slender build. Her appearance is rather frog-like she had a very wide mouth, which dips down a little in the middle just like that of a common frog, and oval-shaped eyes with large, black irises. She had also been holding herself in a way that is somewhat connotative of a frog. Her hair was a dark sea-green color, and it was very long, reaching all the way to her waist, the ends tied together at the bottom in a bow of hair. She had two shoulder-length clumps of hair framing her face, and shorter bangs between her eyes, some of them partially swept to each side. The girl who had initiated the conversation was fair-skinned with a perpetual blush on her cheeks, was slightly taller than the other girl and had a slender yet feminine build. She had brown eyes, and brown hair that was styled so she had long locks of hair beside her face, short bangs, and a short bob at the back.

"I'm shorter than you, how am I supposed to help you reach that, kero." The green haired one spoke, her croaky voice and 'kero' definitely confirming her frog-like nature.

"Could you jump and get it for me, please?" The other girl pleaded, using puppy dog eyes. Aaralyn quietly chuckled watching the affair, she was remembering all the times Izuku used puppy eyes on her. It had seemed that Izuku had been reminded of those moments to, judging by the way he was smiling.

"No, Ocha~chan. We're not supposed to use quirks out in the open," The green haired one gently reprimanded, which caused the girl with the pink cheeks pout," we'll just get someone to help us."

Aaralyn saw it as the perfect moment to interject.

"Sorry to butt in, but I heard that you two needed help, and I'd be happy to help you two," Aaralyn said, handing the basket to Izuku. Aaralyn heard Mei groan loudly, but decided to ignore it for now

"Oh, thank you so much," The pink cheek girls exclaimed.

"Yes, thank you, kero."

"So what did you need?"Aaralyn asked.

"I wanted to get this mochi flavored ice cream, but they put it so high up," The girl explained. Without any other words Aaralyn opened the freezer door and grabbed the quart of mochi ice cream. Aaralyn also noted how the girl resembling a frog stepped back quite a bit and shivered when she opened the freezer.

"Here you go," Aaralyn said cheerfully as she handed Pink Cheeks the ice cream.

"Thank you. I just realized that I need some tall friends," Pink Cheeks laughed.

"We could be your tall friends," Izuku interjected, somehow without stuttering. Though the blush on his face after realizing what he said showed his embarrassment pretty clearly.

"Really, uh, yeah. It would be nice to have some tall friends, and you guys seem pretty nice," Pink Cheeks blushed as she replied.

'Another blusher,' Mei, Tsu, and Aaralyn all thought.

"My name is Tsuyu Asui, but just call me Tsu, kero."

"My name is Uraraka Ochako, you can just call me Ochako if you want. Whatever your comfortable with."

"Uh, well. I'm Izuku Midoriya, Izuku or Deku is fine. The grumpy pink haired girl over there is Hatsume Mei, and she can tell you what she prefers to be called. Last but not least, Aaralyn Monroe, who just prefers to be called Aaralyn.

"Nice to meet all of you," Ochako exclaimed.

The group all shared numbers, and said that they would try and contact each other later that day. Tsu and Ochako continued shopping, while Aaralyn, Izuku, and Mei checked out and dropped of the groceries. The trio then went to Mei's lab and tested out some of her new gadgets, which included a half and half flame and ice thrower.

That ended becoming Izuku's favorite 'baby'.

Notes:

Here is The explanation of the name.

Aaralyn means 'beautiful Melody or song/ a woman with song. Her name has everything to do with her quirk, try and guess what it is in the comments.

Chapter 3: Meeting Kyouka Jirou, Mina Ashido, and Toru Hagakure

Summary:

Time to meet some more of the squad!

Notes:

Sorry I didn't update anything last weekend, I was busy with school. I don't really have a schedule, but I will most likely post on weekends. Post on weekdays mean that it's a holiday break(obviously) or my school wasn't in session for some reason.

Hope you enjoy the chapter (。•̀ᴗ-)✧

Chapter Text

Meeting Kyouka Jirou, Mina Ashido, &, Toru Hagakure

"Why do people believe it's 'too dangerous' for women to be heroes. It's absolute bullshit, and so is their reasoning for it. 'Women have weaker quirk', it's called training and being innovative. No one gives us the chance to even learn about our quirks," Jirou exclaimed angrily.

Aaralyn, nodded her head at the purple haired girl. Jirou was a short girl with a slender build. She had short purple hair and asymmetric bangs. Her most notable feature being her plug-like earlobes, which Aaralyn assumed had something to do with the girl's quirk. Aaralyn had met Jirou while she was getting snacks at some party some rich kid was throwing. Someone had insulted Jirou because of her 'weird' ears, and style. Aaralyn, Izuku, Uraraka, Tsu, and Mei had overheard the conversation, and came in to defend Jirou. From there the group along with Jirou had started chatting about random topics, their current topic was women's rights.

"I agree, kero. I find it completely unreasonable that women are thrown out of the running before we even have a chance to prove ourselves, kero. Our supposedly weaker quirks are most likely from lack of training, and though we are biologically weaker, it does not mean that we cannot build that strength," Tsu added, Tsu had been sitting at one of the stools at the kitchen island, which was cluttered with random red Solo cups and various other forgotten foods.

"Same with quirkless people, thrown out with no chance. How are we even supposed to simply defend ourselves if no one is willing to train us. Being told we can't do something because of how we were born is wrong, plain and simple," Izuku stated. Izuku was sitting in between Hatsume and Aaralyn at the kitchen island, and was across from Tsu, Jirou, and Uraraka.

"Cheers," a new voice said.

"Mmhm," another hummed in agreement.

The first girl had girl pink skin and short, messy light pink hair. Almost hidden by her hair, and the dimness of the area they were in, there were two yellow horns. Her eyes had black sclera and yellow irises and she had notably long eyelashes below and around the sides. She was wearing a lilac shirt with black shorts, she had galaxy leggings underneath the shirt and shorts black boots. She also had glow sticks around her neck. The second girl...well...she was just clothes. The girl was wearing a white halter top with a sparkly pink skirt and white thigh highs, and like the other one, she had glow sticks around her neck.

"Where have you two been," exclaimed Jirou," I was looking all over for you two!" The two girls in question laughed uncomfortably, the pink skin one rubbed the back of her neck, and blushed slightly.

Her blush was purple. That was Aaralyn and Uraraka's only thought. Izuku was heavily analyzing the girls, wishing that he had his notebook with him. Tsu was sipping her water. Mei was writing in her notebook, she had been scribbling unreadable notes in there all night.

"What had happened was," the pink girl had started," I saw a cute girl, you see. I told Toru to stay with you, so you wouldn't be alone, but I guess Toru heard come with me. I didn't know Toru had come with until she had said something. I asked her 'where is Jirou'. She told me that she didn't know. So after I was done talking to the girl-"

"After?" Jirou questioned.

"Uhh, yeah. After. I need love too," Mina laughed, showing that she was just joking," Anyway, we had started looking for you, and we got distracted along the way."

"We saw some guy with cotton candy , some girl selling glow sticks for like a dollar. Which is where we got these," Toru wiggled her bracelets and necklace," The we saw a girl with purple hair who we thought was Jirou, but she was just some girl with headphones on. Then, Mina started to dance because she heard a good song come on, then I found you and brought Mina over here."

At first glance Jirou might've looked irritated, but really she was struggling to hold back laughing at her ridiculous friends.

"I forgive you guys," Jirou sighed, but she was smiling. Mina and Toru went up and hugged Jirou," Alright, that's enough." The two girls laughed, obviously use to Jirou saying that.

_______

Mina and Toru had now joined the conversation, and they were the talkers of the newly formed group.

"We need to act, we need to do something," exclaimed Mina, receiving a few stares from some people walking past them, the rest were too buzzed to even notice her yelling.

"I agree, but what else can we really do, kero? Ocha~chan and I have both tried to make petitions and groups to support the cause, but no one seems to be willing," Tsu questioned. Most of the other girls made sounds of agreement or nodded with her words.

"Yeah, Izuku and I found out that petitions and protests haven't really had an impact. That's why we've been training to go to UA and prove everyone wrong,"Aaralyn shared, a look of melancholy crossed her face for a split second. Izuku saw it and put and hand on his best friends shoulder, he had always hated seeing her sad of upset.

"I think that's a great idea, training yourselves and proving them wrong," Ochako said cheerfully. Toru hummed in agreement.

"Yeah, but It's gonna be hard trying to get into UA, though there aren't any rules against us going to the entrance exam, it will be extremely tough to pass because the assholes don't even give us a chance. The 'its for your safety' excuse is getting old, actually it was complete bullshit from the beginning," Jirou almost shouted, she quickly gained back her composure, but she still looked irritated as she held her head up with her hand.

"We know, but we can't just do nothing," sighed Izuku. Izuku knew that the plan wasn't foolproof, the percentage of it even working was less than fifteen percent. Yes, he had calculated. He thought it would give him some peace of mind, but it only made him more stressed.

"Then do something else," Hatsume had suddenly said, looking up from her notebook. The others turned and stared at her incredulously," if what someone else has already done don't just do it again expecting different results. Like Albert Einstein once said, ”The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.”

The group hadn't spoken. They all needed a moment to soak in the words Hatsume had just spoken. The silence would have been awkward if it was actually silent around them, the chattering of random people, the music in the background, and the sound of people sliding down the stairs filled the silence.

"That's... brilliant. So simple, but so brilliant." That had been all Aaralyn could say, how could they be so stupid and blind.

"That does bring up a question though," Ochako started," everyone brought their full attention to Ochako.

"What can we do that's different?"

Notes:

Oh, you read the whole chapter, didn't think you would. Thank you ( ꈍᴗꈍ).

Anyway, please tell me how you think I did on Mina, Jirou, and Toru's characterization, or any of the other characters. Next chapter should be the group coming up with their plan to change the hero world as we know it. After that, we should be meeting Momo, and then our squad will be complete! Once the squad is complete I'm planning showing some oneshots of their adventures as Vigilantes before they go to UA.

Also, anyone have any guesses on Aaralyn's quirk? I would love to hear them.♪ \(^ω^\ )♪ I haven't really said anything about it in the story so far, but her name is enough of a clue.

Goodbye, see you guys next week(or sooner if I can). (つ≧▽≦)つ

Chapter 4: Author's Note

Chapter Text

Hey everyone. This is just a chapter to let you know that I'm not giving up on this story, I still have many plans for it. I have been stressed recently with school, and was traveling to go see my aunt not too long ago. I should post another chapter before the end of 2019. If everything goes to plan I should be able to get out the chapter I planned to put next(when they decided to become Vigilantes) and a Christmas chapter that might include Momo even though she hasn't been introduced yet.

Also remember that this is just a World-Building and one-shot story as of now. Feel free to point out any inconsistent story lines or plot holes, or even give ideas, and make sure to read the notes before and after each chapter.

See you soon!

Chapter 5: Vigilantes?

Summary:

The girls have a sleepover. That's going to be fun right? Not exactly.

(This chapter just proves how bad I am at angst and why these are just oneshots for now, to work on my angst writing.)

Notes:

Hey everyone, sorry for taking so long to write this chapter, I've just been really busy lately. Hope you enjoy this chapter.(✿^‿^)

(See the end of the chapter for more notes.)

Vigilantes?

"This is actually harder than I thought it was gonna be," Mina groaned as she let herself fall face down onto Hatsume's bed, slightly shaking the bed frame.

"Yeah, it isn't easy to think of a quick and easy solution to end all of female discrimination in the hero industry, kero," Tsu replied. He reply made everyone else in the room groan, thinking about how hard this was going to be.

"We just have to do something that has an impact, we don't exactly have to do everything right?" Uraraka suggested wearily, hoping that she made sense.

"Oh, I get what your saying. We just have to do something big enough to cause waves, and eventually others will join to help the cause. We'll have support. But what could cause those waves?" Izuku added on. Izuku had been very proud of himself for not stuttering once that whole sentence, Aaralyn gave him a little thumbs up the moment he looked at her. They had been practicing getting rid of, or at least lessening his stuttering.

"But, like Hatsume said at the party, what can we do that is different from everyone else," Jirou asked. The girls and Izuku were stumped.

A loud clap rang through the air. Hatsume had slammed her notebook closed to get everyone's attention."I think I have an idea that you guys will like." Hatsume began to furiously look through her notebook.

"Why did you…"Aaralyn started, confusion clear in her voice.

"Close the notebook if you knew that you needed it," Jirou finished the sentence, confusion etched onto her face.

"Don't worry about it," Hatsume said as she started flipping through the notebook slower. Toru let out a small giggle at Hatsume's response."Aha, here it is! Everyone scoot over here!"

Everyone either walked over or crawled over to Hatsume and took a set beside her, or on the bed right behind her. Mina, Toru, and Jirou were on the bed, while Aaralyn, Izuku, Uraraka, Tsu were cuddled with Hatsume at the end of the bed.

"We should become Vigilantes!" Hatsume suddenly exclaimed as she showed the group a page in her notebook that had 'Vigilantes' in what looked to be black sharpie. It was heavily circle, and had a bunch of little random doodles and note around it. It was very Hatsume esque, to any who didn't know Hatsume, the group would just say chaotic.

The group had various expressions on their faces and various thought processes. Izuku looked as if his mom had told him that his dad was All Might. Completely shocked about the words that had come out of her mouth, but was not against it in the slightest. A little disoriented from the shock, but he would get over it. It would be his chance to show that quirkless people weren't useless and that they could be heroes too.

Uraraka wasn't sure what she thought, but she was definitely leaning towards saying 'yes'. The fact that being a vigilante could put her in jail and could make things worse for her parents if they were going to bail her out or if they had to pay a fine, but that was only a minor problem to her right now. Ever since she was a little girl, using her quirk to help people, especially her parents was her dream. And though it might sound selfish to most, being a hero was a great way to make money. That was not her only motivation for becoming a hero though. Being a person that people could look up to, the person that people could depend on, a hero. That's what she wanted to be, and in the eyes of society she could never be that. She wanted to prove them wrong.

Mina and Toru, well, they were excited to say the least. If they couldn't legally become heroes(well they could, it would just be extremely harder than it was for men), then they would become vigilantes and show everyone that women were not weak, and that they could be just a good as men. They also thought that it would be fun to run around the streets at night.

Jirou was...not against the idea. She heard about vigilantes on the news all the time. Most heroes were against vigilantes, some were on neutral ground with them, and some heroes actually fought alongside vigilantes. Those were mostly the underground heroes though, but she knew who loved vigilantes the most. Civilians and the press. Those were the people that they needed the most, they were also the easiest to spread the idea to and the fastest way to spread their ideology. Was it really worth the risk of going to jail though? Maybe.

Admittedly, Aaralyn had thought about the idea a few times, but never told anyone. She thought that it would've been too risky, even if she wasn't doing it by herself. What would happen if someone got caught? They could go to jail, have to pay an outrageous fine, house arrest. These things were even more likely if you were a woman. There had been a few women vigilantes that made some waves, but they usually got caught a few months later. Usually put in jail for as long as they were a vigilante. She hadn't wanted to put that burden upon anyone by convincing them to play a part in her half baked scheme, but Aaralyn was in a room filled with people with the same beliefs when it came to women in hero society. They would be putting themselves in this situation because they believed in the cause, not because she asked them to. That made Aaralyn's decision clear.

Tsu wasn't okay. She could tell by the looks of everyone's faces(besides Toru of course) that they weren't against the idea. She was.

"So! If you agree, raise your hand,"Hatsume exclaimed. Seven out of eight people in the group raises their hand. The only outlier was Tsu.

"Tsu. What's wrong?" Uraraka asked, turning her head toward Tsu. Tsu had slightly scooted away from the group at the end of the bed.

"I don't think that being a vigilante will even begin to help us fix the flaws it hero society. The public might like us, sure, but having heroes supporting us would be even better. Most heroes don't even outwardly support vigilantes, and the others will just treat us like criminals, kero. They wouldn't be wrong to treat us like that either, if we were to use our quirks like that, by law we would be criminals. We would be just as bad as the villains, even if your intentions weren't the same," Tsu explained, her voice steadily getting more croaky.

"I know it seems quite rash, but-"Izuku started.

"No. I'm sorry, but I refuse to be involved, kero," Tsu started to gather up her blankets, pillows, and her other belongings. If you looked close enough you could see the tears beginning to form in her eyes. She briskly walked to the door and as she was about to walk out, she gave everyone a small wave and a somber look. Everyone returned the sentiment.

"That...could have gone better," Hatsume admitted, hands on her cheeks and elbows on her knees while staring down at the page in her notebook that caused this to happen. Uraraka suddenly bolted up, almost falling down because her legs were numb.

"Woah, slow down!" Jirou exclaimed, panic clear in her voice.

"Please don't fall!" Izuku shouted as he tried to reach for her. Luckily she stabilized herself before anything happened.

"I'm going to try to talk to her before she leaves, I may not be able to convince her to stay, but I want her to know that her opinion is valid," Uraraka exclaimed quickly as she ran out of Hatsume's room.

"Should we-"Mina started.

"No, they've known each other the longest. If might get awkward if we all follow them," Aaralyn replied, knowing what Mina was going to say. It's not like Mina was predictable, definitely not, but it was like Mina and Aaralyn were connected on a mental level. No one could explain it.

After Aaralyn's reply, the room got uncomfortably quiet. The tussle of fabric and breathing were the loudest noises in the room.

"I brought Uno," Toru suddenly said, every head in the room turned to the direction of her voice.

"Uno, Uno, Uno, Uno, Uno, Uno!" Mina started chanting. Which started a chain reaction if chanting within the group. They all shuffled around, forming a circle in the middle of Hatsume's room.

Uraraka came back about thirty minutes later with Tsu, who didn't really say much, but participated in Uno. She did have some great clapbacks though, and small smiles could be seen. She was having fun, but her heart was still heavy. She ignored for the time being.

The situation beforehand had not been forgotten though, no, the rest of the group were simply trying to avoid the truth in Tsu's words, it hurt them, but they knew that hurting them was not her intention. She just wanted to give them another perspective, a different view. She told them all the things that they were too scared to think about. They would forever be grateful for her words, they didn't know it yet, but they would.

Notes:

So....how did I do? This was my first time writing something even remotely angst-y(is that a word?) It was also kind of challenging to write everyone in and make them in-character. Is anyone too ooc, let me know and I'll try to fix it.

Also, I was only planning to write the chapter where they meet Momo next, but now I feel like I have to write Tsu and Uraraka's talk, along with Tsu and the other girls making up and becoming closer

Thank you for reading this chapter, please comment to give me feedback.

One last Also(sorry). I'm thinking about writing another story, so follow check my profile soon or follow me to see what it is. It's a Christmas TodoDeku story, but you will not be able to guess the theme. The idea was made when I was talking to my friend in gym class.

Chapter 6: Announcement!

Summary:

No, the story isn't over. But it is at the same time.

Chapter Text

Hey Everyone!

I know that I haven't updated since last year, but for good reason. I'm actually going to get my shit together and make this an actual story instead of just oneshots. That will take a while though. Before I even publish the first chapter, I want half of the story finished and edited. Maybe a quarter not edited and then I'll write the end.

That is the minimum requirement. I say that because I know what it's like to get into a story and then the author updates the story eight years later to say they are discontinuing. (I'm not even exaggerating, 8 years !). Or just stop updating completely with no trace.

But I completely understand that life happens and that if you can't update, don't stress about it. You have a life outside of this, go live it. Or maybe if you just lose interest in the story, or having a bad writer's block.

What I don't like is when you can see that the author is using Ao3 still(or whatever platform), but they don't inform the readers  that they are discontinuing the story, putting in hiatus, or even putting the "Slow Updates" tag. Just say something, please.

Anyway, back to the story. If you have anything that I could work on when it comes to my writing please put it in the comments so I know. Any story ideas that you don't mind me including in my fic, or head cannons that you have that you have. I really want some new head cannons. Or even if you just wanna talk, I'm bored and on quarantine.

Also I'll be posting a chapter on this story for when I post the new book. So stay subscribed to this story or just follow me.

Yep that's it.
