Kaminari, Sero, Bakugou, and Dabi file onto the stage.
“Blah!” More voices then people seen shout on the beat.
“I was born in a messed up century. My favorite flavored sweets are raspberry amphetamines” Dabi sang in the middle of the stage before half dancing half running out of the way for the next.
“I bought a car, Beretta age sixteen. I brush my teeth with bleach 'Cause I ain't got time for cavities.” Bakugou spit the lyrics and then entered the dance-run cycle the had begun to form. Another coming u to take his place
“My daddy put a gun to my head, Said if you kiss a boy, I'm gonna shoot you dead.” Kaminari sang the words and spun back into the cycle. The last boy left to sing coming up.
“So I tied him up with gaffer tape and I locked him in a shed.” Sero sang part of his line arranged himself to grind up into another. “Then I went out to the garden and I fucked my best friend!” Sero ground up and the two spun away from each other.
Todoroki entered from offstage.
“'Cause my high hopes are getting low.” they all moved forward on the stage as todoroki sang, then dropped down. “Because these people are so old.” they dragged their hands down the sides of their faces. “The way they think about it all.” the coo-coo crazy finger swirls. “If I tried, I would never know” they all shrugged their shoulders and ran backward.
They all sang the next bit together “My high hopes are getting low.” they all jumped this time. “But I know I'll never be alone.” they all looked out into the crowd. “It's alright, we'll survive. 'Cause parents ain't always right!” they all stomped a foot and ran into a similar cycle configuration form earlier. Dancing around for a bit, at the end leaving Denki in the middle.
“Drop a toaster in my bath, watch my mum and dad laugh, See a thousand volts go through the son they wish they never had!” Denki mimed being electrocuted while singing, before making a stupid face and going into the cycle.
Todorki stepped up where Kaminari had been.“They told me casual affection-” Shouto hugged himself. “leads to sexual infection.” he dropped his arms. “But it's hard to get an erection-” Todoroki mimed the jacking off motion. “-when you're so used to rejection.” he stomped his foot and ran into the cycle.
Bakugou stomped up, “Yeah, the teacher fucked the preacher, but then he had to leave her.” he stepped aside partly and Sero joined him.
“Had to wash away the sins of a male cheerleader!” Hanta pumped his arm like a cheerleader and both of them returned to the cycle.
Dabi sauntered up to the front. "Hi! Nice to meet ya, " Dabi pushed a hand out to the crowd and pretend shook his hand. “got nothing to believe in. So let me know when my breathing stops.” he used his thumb to mime cutting his neck. And Dabi and everyone else returned to their lines.
“'Cause my high hopes are getting low.” they all moved forward on the stage then dropped down. “Because these people are so old.” they dragged their hands down the sides of their faces. “The way they think about it all.” the coo-coo crazy finger swirls. “If I tried, I would never know” they all shrugged their shoulders and ran backward.
This time they sang the erse all together, “My high hopes are getting low.” they all walked forward to the very edge and put their hands out, weaving through the rabid fans to grab the hands of those they practiced with, and pulled them up, all but sero anyway.
“But I know I'll never be alone.” Bakugou spun with Kirishima. Todorkoi looked into Midoriyas eyes fondly. Dabi threw hawks up a bit and placed him next to him his hand in his. Kaminari lifted up Shinsou and almost fell over, he ended up in his arms blushing.
The significant others of each singer sould be heard through the singer’s mics.
“It's alright, we'll survive. 'Cause parents ain't always right.” Everyone ran to the middle of the stage, the singers somewhat pulling the others along. Except for Sero. He’s lonely.
“Tick, tock, stop the clock.” they all mover their arms in a ticking motion before pushing them outwards.
“Because I got the feeling that I'm gonna get shot.” they singers mimed shooting themselves while those they pulled up fake cried.
“Tick, tock, stop the clock. Because I got the feeling that I'm gonna get shot.” they repeated the same motions and then formed a triangle position with Shouto and Izuku at the front.
Todoroki sang the last of the song with Midoriya “My high hopes are getting low. Because these people are so old.” everyone fake cracked their backs, Sero was comedically miming walking with a walker behind them.
“The way they think about it all. If I tried, I would never know.” they all looked out at the crowd and held their heads.
“My high hopes are getting low,” they all locked hands with their significant others. Sero held his own hand.
“But I know I'll never be alone. It's alright, we'll survive.” the couples looked into each other’s eyes while resting their foreheads together.
“'Cause parents ain't always right.” they looked towards the crowd, and waited till the music was fully cut.
After the music cut they introduced their significant others, Sero laughed and mentioned he was the only lonely one.
The rest of the show carried on, the only difference being their significant others were now onstage. And joining into the songs.
