“Annoying…” He muttered, eyeing Yoongi’s meal with slight envy. He hasn’t had the time to eat, especially with the sudden calling of the other to just…

Meet the next day all of a sudden.

“Go order something, Christ.” Yoongi scoffed, throwing a fry at him. “Don’t faint on me now, we need to talk business.”

Taehyung could only pout at his rudeness, but catches the fry and throws it back. He feels a sense of satisfaction when it hits Yoongi square on the face.

A quick order, a tray of food in his hands, and he’s back at the small table. They eat for a bit, before Yoongi lays down a piece of paper in between them. The younger picked is up gingerly, afraid of getting oil on the paper- seeing how this could be important and he didn’t need burger oil on the damn thing.

Taehyung looked up at Yoongi, who was eyeing him with a hard look.

“So quick, SUGA?” Taehyung mutters, making sure to whisper the name.

“Earlier the better. I need information, V. Or VANTAE.” Yoongi shrugs, breaking his gaze to briefly glance at other customers in the area. “It frustrates me that I know nothing about this, so I might as well hurry the procedure up.”

“Why is is blank then?”

“Write your terms.” He taps on the paper with a pen. “You brought it up, you write down what you want, and I’ll see what I can do.”

“You’re giving me a lot of power here.”

“I can kill you right here, right now if you write something stupid, Taehyung.” Yoongi glanced up, one of his hands subtly patting the front of his jacket. "We can still revise it along the way, of course."

A real threat.

He wasn’t kidding.

Taehyung could feel his heartbeat race, almost beating out of his chest because of it. This was risky. This was a stupid idea, and he just realized it. Then again, he was given this freedom to choose what he wanted at the end of it. He moved his tray aside, making room for the contract to place down before clicking the pen open and writing down his terms.

Jimin had to go to check up on something on one of his districts in Busan, which annoyed him as he had to go there personally because he didn’t trust anyone else there to deal with it quickly and efficiently. Add raining outside, and almost forgetting his duffel bag with essential needs, he really didn’t need another gang going against him right now.

So it was an understatement to say that he was a bit pissed off right now.

He hid back from one of his men, shutting his phone off as he surveyed the area. They were currently in a dark alleyway, props to them for being cliche, he guesses. Jimin peered through the arms of his security, trying to get a good look at the group before pocketing his phone in his duffel bag.

Jimin huffed, when he noticed a significant trait they shared. Their golden tattoos placed somewhere around their bodies- he could see one on their neck, arms, sometimes ankles when they wore shorts, and even their hands when they were stupid enough.

“Can we help you?” One of his men stepped up, hand hovering over a Glock 17 hidden on his belt.

“We need Kitty to come with us.” One of them said, someone with a neck tattoo. “Golden wants to speak with him.”

“Why is that?” Another used his body to hide Jimin more, they didn’t want to let them see that who they wanted was here. Well, not that they knew how he looked, but either way, his mask, clothes and hair was a dead giveaway.

“He took something from our boss.”

“How’d you know it was Kitty?”

“V never lies.”

A she said, V never lied. Never said the wrong information, though sometimes outdated, it wasn’t fake.

However, he doesn’t know what the fuck he stole from Golden out of all people. He never went into his districts, or even his trespassed in his buildings that he had in Seoul or Busan. So what were they talking about?

“He’s never stolen anything from Golden, what are you talking about?” The one hiding him growled out, hand on the evoker that was strapped on his thigh. “Don’t come here prattling on about your baseless accusations.”

“Stealing an entire city seems like something, though.”

He scoffed, making his way through his men, revealing himself to the other group. His shock of pink hair already told them who he was.

“Why the fuck would I want to steal his city?” He snarled, though they couldn’t see it through his mask. “And why was he that pissed off if someone did? He has a dozen around Korea anyways.”

Neck-tattoo guy brings out his own gun- an IMI Desert Eagle, and pointing it directly at his forehead. He's distant, so it’ll depend on his aim to directly shoot through.

“You stole Busan from him.”

“The fuck I didn’t.”

“Are you saying V is a liar?”

“Well, I’m not calling him a truther.”

He could hear snickering behind him, and some of the goldens laughed a bit. Good job, Jimin.

“I don’t know- try checking your sources again? I didn’t steal Busan from him, I conquered it from Jeon.” Jimin hissed.

The goldens eyed each other before nodding, and someone else stepped up. Neck-tattoo guy was now replaced with a female that had an ankle-tattoo.

“If you must know…” She hesitated, weighing her options, but it seemed that she had no choice. “Golden is the son of Jeon.”

Arriving at Busan was like a breath of fresh air compared to Seoul’s high rise buildings. Of course, Busan had their own buildings that mimicked Seoul, but it wasn’t the same. It felt like he was truly home here, of course. He stepped off the train, stretching out his stiff joints and made his way to the front of the station where he waits for someone else to arrive.

Yoongi looked down at his phone, eyes wide with shock. He didn’t think that this was that deep, or how affiliated Jimin was with Golden. He had known him since he was young, remembered how desperate he was to be apart of his gang.

Thinking back- what if he did let him in? Would he still have conquered Busan? Or be satiated with revenge once he killed those men who murdered both his parents? He didn’t know, and it was scary to think of. It sounded unfair to him. A young boy forced into a world where crime was a daily routine for them. How someone (probably) innocent could suddenly turn into the cold and calculating boss Kitty was.

He’s met Kitty before, yes. They met at the Miryang, just in between Daegu and Busan. Just a casual stroll, and perhaps negotiations that went horrible, and both lost almost half their men that day. Jimin was ruthless, even with his pink ensemble, it wasn’t something to lightly laugh about.

Not to mention how terrified he felt with that pink gun pointed at his heart.

If it wasn’t for Mono, he would’ve died that day.

Kim Seokjin wasn’t one to beat around the bush.

If he hated something, he’ll say it straight out. If he liked something, he’ll show his interest until he gets what he wants. So it was no surprise to V to see him grumpy after his two hour ride via bullet train to Ulsan. Their meeting place was behind a hotel, few people coming in and out to go where they needed. The backplace was dark, a few rolling trash bins littered around the area, fenced off by high wire fencing.

“You’re late,” V remarks, checking his watch briefly. “Did you get caught up in something?”

“Did you have to be so far away from Seoul when I asked to meet you a week prior?” Seokjin snaps back, a subtle twitch on his nose. “This is quite a hindrance, you know?”

“Ah, but you’re forgetting something.” He could hear the smirk in V’s words as he walked closer, his ring-clad hand gently touching his jaw when he got near. “You said we could meet anywhere I wanted. Ulsan was convenient for me.”

Seokjin could feel his patience running thin by each moment. He wasn’t here for idle talk, but to get whatever he needed quickly so he could go back home and sleep early. Or run some other errands that needed his attention.

He slapped the hand away, putting distance between them. Seokjin didn’t know how V was personally, only heard rumours from collaborators, and some of his henchmen that used to rule districts in Seoul. However, he did know he needed information to get what he wanted. An equal balance, it was fair.

“So? I’m here.”

“So you are.”

Silence stretched between them.

“...Are you going to tell me anything?”

“What do you want me to say?”

Infuriating.

It’s a wonder V hasn’t been killed yet.

Seokjin has told him over text what he needed to hear, but V demanded that they see each other face to face to ensure no one was hijacking their phones. Of course, he knew that his phone was free from anytype of hackers, but it was a safe bet. With how technology works, you never know when that wall of privacy would break.

Still.

“What do you know about Park Jimin?”

He sees the way V hesitates in telling him. Perhaps he was taken aback by it? Maybe coming all this way, and finding out that this was no one, and just a civilian in the end made him tick just a bit. But he was optimistic about it- if Namjoon thought that he was a part of their dark little world, then Jimin would possibly pose as a threat, or someone useful to them. Especially so if he was a powerful person.

“Why the curiosity?”

“Mono and I have our suspicion he might be someone from the Underground.” Seokjin explains, trying to gouge any type of reaction from the informant. “Is he?”

“Hmmm, is he?” V chuckles, the voice changer cackling with static as he did. “Never knew Mono and you were close.”

“We work together.”

V paused. It would seem like he’s just looking at him, but Seokjin could feel eyes wander on his figure. It sent chills down his spine, knowing he was unarmed, but he didn’t know what V held under that feather cloak, or behind that blank smiling mask.

“When?”

“Since five years ago, Golden came to Seoul and we didn’t know if he would strike or not.”

“Risky.”

“It was worth it.”

The sound of silence was loud in his ears, Ulsan’s cold wind seeping through his thick jacket. Damnit, he’d have to travel at night if this kept up.

“Okay.” V shrugged, leaning back against the concrete wall of the hotel. “He is.”

“Huh?”

“Jimin. He’s part of the underground world.” V explains, “But that’s all I can tell you.”

“What the fuck- is he a bigshot?”

“You could say that.” V then pointed at him with a mock finger gun, making a small pwa! “If you knew who he was, I’d be in trouble, and you… well, you’d be hunted.”

“How big is he, then?”

“You might know him as someone who stole something from the Prince.”

A hint.

But he wasn’t sure about it, but he had an idea of what it was.

“Which Prince? You know how people tend to call bigshots nowadays.”

“Of course, I’ve heard mine.” V chuckled, lifting a finger up with each one. “There was Prince as well, Witch, Blackmailer is popular, Puppet Master, sometimes Bee.”

“...Bee?”

“V, Bee, sounds the same, no?”

“Oh my god.”

“There’s something else bothering me.”

He sees him check his phone, hearing an audible click of the tongue through static. Was he in a hurry? Good, so was he.

“What?”

“Why’s Golden in Seoul?”

“I thought you knew this.” He hears a sigh. “He’s there to try and take it over, of course.”

“Then why hasn’t he?”

“I…” The second time he’s faltered. Seems that he doesn’t have all the answers as everyone would assume. “I don’t know.”
