Summary
Buck couldn’t figure out how he could possibly explain to the kid that he couldn’t. That he wasn’t strong enough to keep fighting, that he was tired and the darkness of the pain was unbearably alluring. But he knew that it didn’t matter in that moment what he wanted, all that mattered was protecting his universe.
