Chapter Text
24 hours after the Snappening...
The T-Mobile Sidekick continued transmitting, even if the owner of said phone was now a pile of dust. Tommen Baratheon frowned as he picked up the phone and set it on a nearby table. He couldn't believe it. Half of everyone in his class had vanished into thin air. To make things worse, his older brothers Joffrey and Gendry were also victims of the "snappening", which was what everyone was starting to call the event.
Myrcella (Tommen's sister) said to him, "While there's no word from Uncle Tyrion. I'm sure that Uncle Jaime was also snapped to death."
"I see," said Tommen. "Where's mom and dad?"
Myrcella frowned, knowing that while many people had been snapped to death, there was an array of car accidents and plane crashes to consider. Many people were killed in the ensuing chaos that followed; Myrcella feared that their parents Robert and Cersei were among those killed in a crash. It was almost as if the entire world had gone mad. "I don't know what to say," Myrcella said to him.
"Me neither," Rickon said as he stared at his friends. "But I think we know who's been snapped to death."
"Robb's gone, as is Hot Pie and Podrick Payne," said Robin.
"Plus, Ellaria Sand and all her daughters are gone," said Sarella (who was the only Sand Snake that survived the snap).
"Willas, Garlan, Leonette, and their children are gone as well," said Margaery."
"Well, I found this strange phone in here," said Tommen as he picked up the phone.
"Where's Jacquelyn?" said Sansa.
The group sat in silence as a computer screen flashed the names and faces of those who had disappeared in the snap: Jaime Lannister. Clary Fray. Simon Lewis. Isabelle Lightwood. Alec Lightwood. Jace Wayland. Percy Jackson. Annabeth Chase. Grover Underwood. Ronald Weasley. Tyene Sand. Obara Sand. Nymeria Sand. Half of the Avengers and their families. Matthew Ritterwolff. Michael Ritterwolff. Jacquelyn Ritterwolff. And all the while, Jacquelyn's phone kept transmitting.
“How long has that damned thing been beeping?” Tommen snapped as the group was sitting in Jacquelyn's office. After the snappening, less than half of the group was left to deal with the results of the chaos that happened because of said snap. There were car accidents and rioting in the streets. Plus, planes were crashing and buildings were on fire.
"Who knows?" said Violet Baudelaire. "Maybe Jacquelyn sent out a distress signal before she was snapped to death?"
"It has to be her," said Gale. "She knew something was up, so that's why she called for help."
"But who's going to help us in this dark hour?" said Rosalie. "As far as I know, Jacquelyn was among the most powerful characters in this story, yet she didn't survive the snap."
"And not just her, but we also lost Wil Omsford, Eragon Shadeslayer, Arya Stark, Lyra Belacqua, and almost everyone in Camp Jupiter," said Myrcella. "We are the only ones left."
"And even then, I bet that this Thanos character isn't finished destroying us," said Sansa.
Little did she know that we was right.
Bloor's Academy
"Where should we go for our picnic?" Charlie said as he, Emma, Tancred, Lysander, Fidelio, Billy, and Olivia sat outside the field outside the school. The weather was abnormally pleasant, which had the Children of the Red King scrambling outside for a picnic.
"Let's go to the lake," said Olivia. "It's nice out there and we can get away from Manfred. He's just as pleasant as snake crawling in a dollhouse."
"Is that what you think about me?" Manfred snarled as he saw the other children laughing at him. "We'll see about that!"
He stormed from the gateway and came towards the children, but the snap happened before he could reach them; all that remained of the Children of the Red King was dust. "Charlie?" He cried out. "Where are you???"
At the same time, Tommen was staring at a computer screen; the computer was still connected to Jacquelyn's phone. The phone had shut itself off a few minutes ago.
"Did whatever the phone was transmitting just stop?" said Klaus Baudelaire.
“Yeah, it did,” said Gale.
"Why don't we turn it back on?" said Myrcella.
“How do we do that?” said Sansa. “This is a T-Mobile Sidekick; nobody really uses that anymore.”
“Jacquelyn did recently,” said Klaus. “She must have known that she would be snapped to death, so she sent out a call for help.”
“And who would she call at this ungodly hour?” Rosalie snapped.
But before they could do anything, a young man stormed into the room. Anger was written on his face. He glared at everyone as he said, "Where is Jacquelyn?"
