*Set during BV3 episode 6, where Jungkook is too tired to go on a friendship trip with Jin*
"I'm too tired to go on a friendship trip, hyung."
Jin's heart dropped when he heard that, but he understood Jungkook. He knew how tiring driving can be, and he knew his maknae wouldn't voice out his tiredness unless he's really really tired. Jin was used to being alone, and he did enjoy being alone occasionally, but that day he felt like he did not really want to be alone. He thought of asking if he could join Namjoon and Hobi, but he didn't want to interrupt the friendship bonding both of them had a plan for themselves.
"It's okay Jungkookie-ah. Make sure you rest okay?" he reminded Jungkook. Sometimes, this boy just forgets he's human.
At night, Jin went out alone, with the staff and ate some seafood and drank some tequila. He even met the restaurant owner and befriended him. He's glad that at least he got to talk to someone, other than the camera or staff. When he finally decided to go home, he stared at Jungkook with his half-half hair, before unleashing his windshield wiper laugh.
"Hyung!! Stop laughing!!" Jungkook started laughing himself, and they laughed for a good 10 minutes.
"Kook-ah, what do you think you're doing?"
"I wanted to be like you, messing with my own hair. You're my role model you know." Jungkook smiles. He really loves Jin. He came to BigHit for Namjoon, but Jin raised him to be who he is today. Jin taught him self-love, how to survive without someone else, but also at the same time, learn how to be dependent when you need to be. Jin was his idol and someone that he feels he could really act like the youngest around.
Jin smiles. "Yah, if the other members scream, I'm not helping you. Go away, hyung wants to shower."
Meanwhile, Namjoon is at a bar with Hobi, but he couldn't help but think how Jin is doing on his own. He didn't realise how much he missed his boyfriend until he saw the couples in Saint Julian's.
"Namjoon, you're rather distracted. Are you missing Jin-hyung?" Hobi asked, concerned. He knows Namjoon worries about Jin whenever he's too far away, thinking about all the bad things that can happen.
Namjoon nodded. "Yeah, I thought he'd be okay alone, but he seemed quite lonely just now when all of us left. Did you notice?"
Hobi shook his head. Only Namjoon could read Jin's face and understood what it meant. Namjoon was the only person in the team that can see through Jin, other than Yoongi. Well, Jungkook is kind of catching up now.
"He'll be fine, Joon-ah. It's our Jin-hyung, your boyfriend of 3 years, and worldwide handsome who's confident. If he's not okay, I'm sure he'll let you know." Hobi smiled. Their relationship was just too cute.
Namjoon thought about it and decided that Hobi was right. Today is for his friendship with Hobi, and he's gonna enjoy every second of it.
When Jin was done showering, the put on a face mask and dried his hair before informing Jungkook he was off to sleep. Hearing that, Jungkook quickly washed up and dried up so he could go and hug his hyung. He felt bad that he left Jin all alone today, and wanted to make it up by cuddling his hyung. He knows how much his hyung loves hugs.
"Knock, knock, Jin-hyung are you awake?" Jungkook tip-toed into the room. Jin was using his phone, looking through the pictures they took that day. Jin turned around, surprised to see Jungkook.
"Kookie, what are you doing here?"
"Um, I felt bad leaving you alone today, so I wanted to offer cuddles. Are you up for it?" Jin laughs, looking at how Jungkook is asking shyly, looking on the floor.
"Come here, Kook-ah. Don't feel bad, hyung knows driving is tiring."
Jungkook wrapped his arms around Jin's waist, hugging him from behind, snuggling his face into Jin's neck. He really loves Jin's comforting scent, and how Jin was a nice size to hug.
"I still feel bad hyung." He mumbled into Jin's neck.
"But you're here now so it's okay Kookie. Let's go to sleep okay?" Jin felt Jungkook nod and soon enough, both of them are off to deep sleep.
Jimin and Taehyung reached home and was surprised by how quiet it was. Jimin walked up to his and Jin-hyung's room and was shocked by the view that greeted him.
"Jimin-ah, where is Jungkook?" Taehyung asked from downstairs.
Jimin blinked once. Twice. Three times. Before he coughed and said, "Taehyung, I think he's up here, cuddling Jin-hyung."
Taehyung rushed up the stairs to see the sight, before giggling. "Jungkook is going to have to deal with a grumpy Namjoon tomorrow morning."
Jimin sighed. "God bless Jungkook."
Namjoon and Hobi were the last to reach home, and the first thing Namjoon did was rushed up to see his boyfriend. When he knocked on the door, he hears Jimin calling him in softly.
"Is Jin-hyung asleep?" he asked Jimin, who was using his phone.
"He's asleep, and so is Jungkook." Jimin said, cackling softly.
Namjoon was confused until he properly focused his eyes on Jin's bed under the dim light. Jungkook was hugging Jin, with Jin's head tucked under Jungkook's chin. Jungkook's arms were wrapped around Jin's waist while Jin had two tight fists holding on to Jungkook's pajamas. Namjoon is not happy.
"Um, Jimin, um how did this happen?" Namjoon asked, trying to calm himself down. Jin was only supposed to cuddle like that with HIM. Only Namjoon, his boyfriend, NO ONE ELSE.
"I don't know. They were already cuddling when I got home with Tae just now." Jimin shrugged. "Hyung, don't scold Jungkook too hard tomorrow. Maybe this is their friendship trip."
Namjoon was speechless. Jin was in such a position that there was no way Namjoon could leave a forehead kiss or any kind of kiss on his face. He's upset and tired but decided to go to sleep and deal with it the next day.
Jimin chuckled as Namjoon left. "Oh god bless Jungkook indeed."
The next morning came, and Jin woke up first, as usual. He tried to get up, but he was stopped by something holding him down. He opened his eyes, and the sight of Jungkook sleeping while snoring softly greeted him.
"Aish, Jungkook-ah. You're hugging hyung too tightly." Jin brushed Jungkook's hair, stirring him awake.
"Hyung?" Jungkook rubbed his eyes, before letting go of Jin completely to stretch.
"Good morning Kookie. How was your sleep?"
"It was good. I miss hugging you hyung. Namjoon-hyung keeps you all to himself all the time." Jungkook pouted.
"Silly baby, we'll cuddle again next time okay? Just let hyung know." Jin smiled before getting up to freshen up.
He walked down the stairs and the first thing he saw was Namjoon, half-awake drinking milk. Jin walked over, sat next to Namjoon and kissed his cheek. "Good morning, Joonie."
"Morning. I see you slept well?"
"I did, thank you. How about you?"
"I didn't because yesterday night, I saw someone else cuddling my boyfriend."
Jin tried so hard to remain serious, but a smiled broke out.
"Joonie, are you jealous? Of Jungkook?" he started laughing.
Namjoon spluttered. "Of course hyung. You look so comfortable cuddling him, it's like you don't need me anymore."
Jin gave a small smile, before cupping Namjoon's face. "Joon-ah, I love you so so much, and just because I'm cuddling my baby that I raised doesn't mean I love you lesser. I was just lonely last night, and Jungkook felt bad about ditching me and made up to me by offering cuddles. So don't get jealous okay?"
Namjoon pouted, before nodding his head. "You're still mine, okay hyung? Remember that. I think I'll remind everyone that. Especially Jungkook. He seems to snatch you away every time I'm not around. Actually the maknae line always snatches you away."
This time Jin really laughed so happily and heartily, and the sight made Namjoon's heart soar. He really loved seeing Jin smile, and knowing he's the cause of it makes him happier.
"Joonie, you need to stop being so jealous of the rest of the members. Vminkook is a work in progress you know. But, let them cuddle me once in a while. Jungkook said you keep me from him too much."
"That brat, he's gonna pay."
And thus, Namjoon decided that Jungkook will go on a friendship trip with Hobi while he goes on with Jin. Ha, serves that brat right.
