College Sucks (Jotaro Kujo x Fem!Reader)

Summary:

Look, college wasn't that bad. Yeah, classes started super early in the morning and you lived in a hurricane-prone area. But at least you had some peace and quiet in your somewhat small life.

It was the junior year for you. You were studying to become a paleontologist on marine life when you first saw him. You thought nothing of it, but your (not so) little buddy sure did. For some reason, your stand [Velvet Underground] seemed really interested in this stranger, who you later learned was Jotaro Kujo, also in his junior year.

Maybe it was because you also liked him (unlikely), or maybe, just maybe, he was also a...?

Maybe you should have taken college online.

(Author's note: This is sort of like an alternate universe, seeing as Caesar, Kakyoin and Avdol are alive. Also, Jotaro is a complete and utter softie in this one, and Star Platinum is just a big puppy dog.)

Notes:

(Sorry for the short chapter! It's just here to provide some background knowledge. Also, this story is gonna have a shit ton of fluffy goodness.)

Chapter 1: A Short Introduction

Summary:

It all began when you were eleven years old. The day you gained a stand.

Chapter Text

You were certain that this was a nightmare.

You were absolutely terrified. Its face looked solid enough, like some sort of skull with massive horns. But its body was constantly shifting like it was made of shadow, with large spikes protruding from its back. It was also massive, its horns scratching the ceiling in your room.

It seemed to notice your fear, seeing as it shrank away from you. There was an odd noise coming from it... whimpering? "Hey, I'm not gonna hurt you, " You hesitantly reached out to touch its body. It leaned forward into your hand, a soft yet deep rumble came from inside its body.

"Are... are you my sleep paralysis demon or something?" You whispered. It looked at you with its glowing white pupils. It didn't say any words, but you could guess that it didn't need to.

"Well, if you're going to stick around, you'll need to stay quiet. I don't need my mom or my nonna freaking out about you." You sighed, resting your head on its body. Surprisingly, its body was not only warm but soft too.

It nudged you with its head, dropping something your lap. "Where did you get this?" You spoke aloud, looking at a bag of chips and a water bottle filled with ice-cold water. "Well, wherever you got them from, thanks. I haven't really eaten or drank much today, so thank you."

A pleased cooing noise came from the strange creature. It then shrank to about the size of a wolf, leaping onto your bed and placing its skull-like head on your lap. "Guess we're friends now, " You whispered.

And so began your friendship with your stand.
