Chapter Text
“ Welcome to Ground Café, where the coffee is always freshly ground or whatever”.
Izuku was greeted by a gruff voice as he walked into the warm, surprisingly not busy for Six am on a Tuesday, café. It was especially cold that morning, seeing as though he forgot his coat in Uraraka and his dorm, so the lovely smell of fresh coffee on an early, cold, fall morning was just what he needed to get ready for the day. Izuku walked up to the counter, only to be greeted with a grumpy looking man. He looked pretty rude, but Izuku decided to just get his coffee and go. “Alright, what coffee do you want?”, the owner of the gruff voice spoke.
Izuku looked up to see a man in his early twenties, with soft, but spiky, blonde locks, and ruby red eyes stare back at him. He’s pretty good looking, Izuku thought to himself. Izuku managed to muffle out his order, “Can I get two cinnamon lattes, a black coffee, matcha green tea, and a macchiato?”.
“ Yeah, sure, uh whatever,” the man turned around,” Mina we need two CL, a BC, a MG tea, and a macchiato!”
The man turned back to Izuku, “ You can go sit down somewhere while we make your coffee, the name for the order?”
“Midoriya,”
“Okay then, Midoriya, I’m Bakugo”, he then turned and started helping preparing the coffee.
Well that was…. Interesting to say the least? Izuku thought about how happy his friends, who were also his co-workers, were going to be when he walked in with their favorite coffee. Izuku took a moment to look around and appreciate the soft atmosphere of the small coffee shop. It had a retro type feeling and look to it, but it also seemed modern at the same time. He was called out of his thoughts by a blushing Bakugo, yelling his name, signaling that his coffee was ready to go. Izuku got up and walked over to the counter from where he was sitting. “ Thanks, Bakugo,” and with that, Izuku picked up his coffee and left, followed by the chime of the door, signalling that he had left. The one thing Izuku didn’t realize is that he left Katsuki a blushing mess,as well as being endlessly teased by his co-workers, and fellow best friends, over the same boy who had managed to single handedly make him blush by a simple,” Hello, Bakugo,”.
