   Summary

   After having his dreams crushed by All Might, Midoriya falls into a slump, just living day by day. One day, his mother, in a bid to cheer him up even a little, takes him out shopping and while they’re leaving a villain attacks, picking out inko as a victim.

   Angered by this, his latent quirk finally activates as he feels the rage that was needed to unlock it. His hair turns gold and spikes up as lightning strikes, as Izuku unlocks… his super state.
