Summary:

BOOK 1 OF THE SURVIVOR ANTHOLOGY

The Clone Wars ravages the galaxy, changing everything it touches. The Senate in shambles and the Jedi occupied means the galaxy has never been a more dangerous place.

Reina Tautaski, a slave of the Zygerrian royal court, had resigned herself to her fate from a long road of embittered abandonment by those of her childhood, the Jedi Order. When Jedi Obi-Wan Kenobi, Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano arrive on an undercover mission to free the enslaved people of Shili, Reina's fate has a chance to be rewritten from its brutal certainty. But time can fester the same wounds it can heal and Reina must face that she cannot stay the same, nor return to what she once was. For so long has she survived - now she must find purpose amongst the chaos of war.

In a galactic tale spanning the stars, Survivor follows a story of finding oneself amongst the war-torn tapestry of space and rebuilding a home when all has been torn to the ground. The only characters I own are my OCs. All else belongs to the Big Mouse.

Notes:

This work holds such a special place in my heart after dedicating so much of my late teens to writing it, following me all the way to adulthood. I have re-edited it several times to make it bearable from its initial drafts, and Reina's delightfully wry and stubborn little personality are a little beacon of chaotic joy to write, so I hope you all love this as much as I do.

This work is complete, available on Wattpad (same username and title) and has a sequel in progress, so buckle up for a fun ride!

Welcome reader, to my humble abode.

Well, my humble book I suppose I should say. Thank you so much for clicking on my book, and I really hope you won't be disappointed! I am truly proud of this book and regard it as my best work.  Here are a few information tid-bits prior to your read:

For those readers who have followed the trail to this story from Wattpad, they will know that author notes were quite detailed from me on there, frequently including important information regarding updates ect.  Thankfully, this book is now just an "edit, copy, paste" job as I move it to Ao3, so chapter notes now are more mindless author drivel that's been trimmed to concise little snippets of thought - news that I'm sure old time readers (read: war veterans) will be relieved to hear!

This book is a multi-POV third person story.  It follows our main character through both arcs from The Clone Wars animated show as well as book-original content (though some still drawn from Star Wars Legends content or EU material).  It's a story of re-finding that which we've lost, as well as accepting that the new can be just as good as what is gone.

I had edited this book extensively and think I have eradicated most mistakes (including its initial first-person perspective from when I first wrote it so long ago), but please give me a bell if you spot any glaring errors!  You will have my thanks and internet cookies.  With that said, please enjoy this story, and I hope I see you at the end of it!
