they had been here for at least an hour and mutsunokami was bored. narumi had made herself comfy against him and was keeping herself busy by pointing out the features of omari, she was excited to be back in the sengoku period, back home. an hour had passed and there was still no sign of their target, date masamune, mutsunokami could feel her leg starting to shake, a sure sign that she was feeling nervous. in an effort to help calm her he gently propped his chin on her shoulder, turning slightly to kiss her neck, reassuring her that everything would be alright and he was right here if she needed distracting. she turned to face him, running her thumb over his cheek and told him she would be happy to take him up on the offer before leaning closer and kissing him.
the rest of their team, along with masamune, finally arrived and found the pair up the tree. since their mission had ended, they saw no reason to disturb them, figuring they’d come down eventually.
