Hanging out on the rooftop, with your favorite food in your hands and also your favorite person on earth, just enjoying the breath taking view of the night sky in a comfortable silence was one of the best feeling. Wishing the times would stop right there and then.
C urrently doing all of those things is seokjin and his best friend, namjoon. Just them on the rooftop watching the beautiful scenery. Tonight, the moon are not alone, it was surround by the stars, the moon forever partner in the night sky. Looking at the moon, jin also want the same things, to have someone who would be by your side just like the stars who was there for the moon. And jin does have someone like that, it’s in the form of a person name Kim Namjoon.
Jin love having namjoon by his side but at the same time he wish he could have more from namjoon. He want namjoon’s love. The kind of love that would make them more than just friends but he know that was impossible, because to namjoon he’s just his best friend and that’s ok because jin doesn’t want to risk their friendship and even more the risk of losing namjoon. So he kept his feelings hidden even though it’s killing him inside, he will be ok because he will still have namjoon by his side.
“ jin hyung” namjoon call, breaking the comfortable silence and jin train of thought, making it go unnoticed by jin that there was an evident of nervousness in namjoon tone “I… have something that I want tell you, seokjin hyung” namjoon slowly taking seokjin hands into his, looking at it for quite some times. Namjoon RARELY use jin full name and that making him nervous “what is it joonie? You are making me nervous” jin laugh lightly, trying to ease the tension but that doesn’t seem to work when the corner of namjoon lips doesn’t even budge.
Namjoon slowly take a deep breath and then look straight into jin eyes “I… I lik- no,I love you , hyung. I really love you from the very first day we met, I know that I have fallen for you and I would really be disappointed in myself if I didn’t at least give it a try to confess to you and…” he stop mid sentences and start caressing jin hands with his thumbs, taking another deep breath before he continue “and if I didn’t ask you to be mine. So, jin hyung, do you want to be my boy…friend?” there was uncertain sound in namjoon voice, afraid of what the outcome wouldl be but he still keeping the eye contact with seokjin, patiently waiting for the elder answer.
seokjin was still trying to process everything namjoon has said, hoping that it was not a dream, and if it is, he doesn’t want to wake up from this dream “hyung, it’s ok if you didn’t feel the same way. I hope we can still be friend but I understand if you did--” jin stop him midsentence as he throw himself on namjoon , head buried in the crook of the younger neck, namjoon was too shock from the sudden action but still return the hug
Pulling from the hug, seokjin smile at the confused namjoon “Oh joonie, my joonie bear, you don’t know how long I’ve been wanting to say the same thing but I guess you beat me to it, I love you too silly” after seokjin said that, he could see a smile slowly spreading on namjoon face, dimple peeking on both his cheeks. Seokjin cupped the younger face with both his hands and look into his pretty eyes and also glancing at his lips “and yes, I will be your boyfrie--” it’s all it take for namjoon to connected their lips and with that it’s the start of their new journey together as a lover.

The 18 years old Kim Namjoon and 20 years old Kim Seokjin from the past has achieved both their desire dream. After so many hardships for the past 8 years, they finally touch the sky.
Kim Seokjin, 28 years old, CEO of Real Jin Company, a place he build with his own blood, sweat and tears, a place where he can have freedom to create everything he want and also a place where he giving people the chance to chase their dream as an artist, it was worth all the hardship he been through to make his dream come true. Now Real Jin. Co are one of the famous company in the world but one thing the public doesn’t know is what the CEO look like. Seokjin never reveal himself to the public in hope of keeping his privacy and he wish it will stay that way.
As for the 18 years old Kim Namjoon who is now 26 years old, he have become a successful idol under Big Hit entertainment along with his best friend, hoseok and yoongi. Namjoon make friends with both of them during their trainer days and they eventually click. Years after namjoon told them about his relationship with jin which they didn’t believe it “yeah and I’m dating our boss” yoongi has said to him because how could they believe namjoon is in a romantic relationship with the CEO of Real Jin. Co who doesn’t even show himself to the public eyes yet here namjoon claiming he’s dating jin. That is until he bought jin to meet them personally.
Yoongi was kinda cold, barely said a words with jin at first (seokjin believe he’s trying to hide his nervousness) but namjoon has told jin beforehand that yoongi was just like a shy kitten with strangers “hello yoongi sshi, I’m Kim Seokjin and as namjoon has told you I’m the CEO of Real Jin in which I’ve told him not to tell anyone before…” seokjin said giving a side glare at namjoon who just awkwardly laugh, mouthing a lil ‘i’m sorry’ while scratching the back of his neck and I hope you could keep it a secret of how I look” seokjin finish, smiling at yoongi and the younger just nod, not believing what namjoon told was true “do you believe me now yoongi hyung” namjoon smirking looking at yoongi reaction and also earning a glare from seokjin. Nonetheless the meeting was great and maybe seokjin and yoongi became closer after that
While hoseok was a literal sunshine, an easy going person, jin swear his eyes could go blind with just from hoseok smile alone (-- if he’s not already blind from joonie dimple smile). “So you’re the handsome secret boyfriend of Kim Namjoon a.k.a jin” hoseok has said when they met “handsome secret boyfriend?” seokjin ask, curious of how he earn that nickname “yup, when there was people who’s trying to hit on namjoon at the company, he always said ‘I already have a handsome boyfriend that you could never win over him so just leave me alone’. That’s how you became namjoon ‘handsome secret boyfriend’” hoseok told and seokjin chuckled at that, mesmerized at how the younger brush off any love confession until namjoon came to the scene that seokjin hold his laughter “joonie you never told me I’m your ‘handsome secret boyfriend’” namjoon face redden at the words and the meeting was full of laughter after that
After seeing how close their bond were, jin is glad that namjoon have both of them as his friend.
Their relationship, oh well let just say they almost break up because of the contract agreement but that smart kid manage to pursued and make a deal with the CEO so here they are keeping their relationship a secret for so many years now . jin has try asking him for so many times about how he manage to make them agree to him but every time he ask namjoon keep telling ‘you don’t have to worry about it hyung’ or ‘as long as we have each other, that things doesn’t matter’ and jin couldn’t argue with that. Honestly, even if it was hard for him, jin has prepared himself to let him go at that time if it’s meant for namjoon to reach his dream but turns out he manage to keep both his dreams.

Jin put his phone down after the call and quickly organized his stuff, making sure everything was done and also making sure to tell his secretary to clear all his schedule for tomorrow and move it the day after, missing the way his secretary smile knowingly at him as me make his way towards his car, making a mental note to make a quick trip to the market to buy some ingredients as he was planning to cook namjoon favorite food.
Jin is really excited to meet namjoon tonight after months of not meeting each other, barely communicate through texts and phone call. It’s not the was not used to this, he swear he’s already getting used to it as it always happened during his comeback session and he was also accepted the fact that they won’t be able to meet up (date) in public anymore. He didn’t blame namjoon or the group thought, he know this time will come when they had their very first win as artist of the year 3 years ago and their group popularity increase drastically.
Jin heard the front door unlocking and a voice he know very well “jinnie I’m here” call the voices for the owner of the house “wait a little bit joonie, I’m showering right now” jin said and wash his body and hair as fast as he could “want me to join you?” namjoon said, seduction and playfulness in his tone but jin didn’t hear a thing of that, busy washing his hair.
Until namjoon poke his head inside the bathroom “hey baby” he said happily, slowly opening the door and definitely checking jin out in the process and jin eyes widen at the sight “joon!! What the hell, Get out!” jin said frantically splashing some water to make him go away “It’s not like it’s the first time we took a shower together though” namjoon said, a blush definitely creep it way through jin cheeks and his ear “are you shy baby, your ears are so red” namjoon chuckle and leaned toward the door frame, arm crossed over his chest
“alright let’s get you out of here, I want to cuddle you now” namjoon try to reach out and drag him out but jin stop him “I.. I w-will do it myself you can wait outside, ok?” jin said with a pout and doe eyes and who was namjoon to say no to that “I will pick a movie first then, I will see you in the living room” namjoon said, earning a nod from jin and make his way to the living room. After namjoon was out of sight, jin quickly rinse his body and put on his favorite clothes (--namjoon shirt) and sweatpants.
When he got to the living room, seokjin coo at the sight in front of him, namjoon on the couch, with RJ on his lap, holding a photo album ( their photo album) dimple on display because of how big he was smiling and not to mention he was wearing one of jin hoodie. This make him remember when they used to do this on their daily Saturday date, just them as Kim Namjoon and Kim Seokjin but now it’s hard to keep doing it considering how busy both of them now and its make seokjin treasure every moment he got to spend with Namjoon, including this moment.
“What are you doing?” seokjin ask as he make himself comfortable on the couch, namjoon put his hand on jin shoulder to welcome him on his body and who was seokjin to refused it “just looking at our old photo, we are so young back then” namjoon giggle at the photo back when they were still in high school, namjoon still remember how shy seokjin used to be, hiding behind him all the time when they hang out with namjoon’s friends and now he’s full of confidence and self-love and namjoon love that too, the shy seokjin is still there rarely shown now but it’s there “yeah especially when you have that hair and sunglasses trying to look cool” seokjin giggle at one of the photo when namjoon have that Mohawk hair and his cool sunglasses “hey I was young ok and I just trying to impress you” namjoon mumble the last part barely audiable but still heard by seokjin and he giggle at it
“ok, ok let’s watch our movie now. What did you pick?” seokjin ask trying to hold back his laughter at the sight of namjoon still pouting “just some random rom-com movie” namjoon said, closing the album and putting it aside. Seokjin settle himself a little until he was comfortable enough, head on namjoon chest and blanket on seokjin body. The movie was great and seokjin can relate on some parts of it but overall he’s more focus on how namjoon arm keep tracing on his back, something he usually do when he was anxious and seokjin thought was proved correct when namjoon speak after the movie end
“Hyungie...” namjoon said, moving his hand from seokjin and reaching out to hold his hands, caressing it slowly with his thumbs. Seokjin look at namjoon, knowing that the younger needed time to say what he wanted to say even thought he was anxious about it keep his mouth shout, giving him time “is it ok for you if…” namjoon pause and look at seokjin, whose eyes are already on him the whole time “…if we..um” seokjin decide to reassure him, seeing how the younger is struggling to say it “joon, baby, its ok. Whatever it is I will support you” seokjin said, caressing the hands that was now in his own and shooting the younger his gorgeous smile “Iwanttomakeourrelationshippublic” the words was fast that seokjin barely catch it and if he didn’t know any better he would have thought namjoon was rapping from one of his songs
And its take another moment for seokjin to process it in his head ‘namjoon want to make their relationship public. Their relationship.public.’ seeing that seokjin doesn’t answer, namjoon panic “it’s ok if you don’t want to, I won’t force you” hearing namjoon voice knock seokjin out of his dazed “I don’t mind joonie. I’m really ok if you want to make it public but…” seokjin trail on his words,avoiding looking at namjoon
“but what if they hate me joon. What if…” seokjin didn’t finish his words when a pair of lips kiss his own “jinnie, I don’t care what they say. I’m doing this because I want them to know that there was someone who always there by myside during my worst and best. That there was someone who push me to keep me going and ground me. Someone who giving me love and someone I could give my love to. I don’t want to hide you forever. I don’t want you to be in the dark or a shadow seokjin because you’re my light. I want to show you off like ‘yes, this is the love of my life and I love him so much’. I love you and I want the world to know that”
Hearing namjoon words bring tears and chase away all of his negative thought. With nothing to say, seokjin buried his face in the crook of namjoon neck, sobbing a little. Namjoon pull him closer, drawing circle on his hyung back and whispering sweet nothing “I just don’t want to lose you and it was selfish of me to keep you for myself but I also don’t want you to lose your fans and even you career. You work so hard to get where you are now” seokjin said after calming a little, head still buried in namjoon neck.
Namjoon reach for his face to make seokjin look at him but to no avail so he pull seokjin face up by his chin until their eyes meet “you won’t lose me hyung, I can promise you that and it’s not selfish wanting me all by yourself because i also want you all to myself. And my career, without you I won’t make it this far. There was moment when i want to give up but looking at how proud you are towards me I just can’t. whatever happened we will go through this together” namjoon finish it with a kiss on seokjin forehead. Namjoon carefully pushing seokjin from him to stand up, he carried seokjin to the bedroom so both of them could get some sleep and forget everything. Staying in each other embrace and drift off to dreamland might be the answer.
That they have each other.
That everything will be alright.
They are each other strength.
