Chapter Text
-Monday, October 7th-
Disaster Cryptid Dad: Izuku, how do you feel about coming home for the weekend? Your brother misses you.
Me: You mean he misses beating me at Smash? Or is it because you also miss me?
Disaster Cryptid Dad: Touche. I’ll have a warp for you on Friday sometime after school.
Me: Can’t you give a more specific time?
Disaster Cryptid Dad: {:

-Friday, October 11th-
Disaster Cryptid Dad: Don’t forget I’m going to be warping you home!
Me: Yeah, and my teachers have been on edge all day because of that. Can’t you just pick me up like a normal parent or at least let one of my teachers take me to the train station because of the school’s new policy?
Disaster Cryptid Dad: Since when have we been a normal family, Izuku? Plus I happen to distinctly remember the cause of your school’s dorm system being the incompetence of your teachers, society in general, and especially the government.
Me: Actually they did this in response to my brother and his League of Villains constantly attacking my school and then Bakugou and I getting kidnapped this past summer. You can’t blame everything on the government, Dad.
Disaster Cryptid Dad: XC You wound me Izuku! I don’t blame EVERYTHING on the government!
Izuku just put the phone down on the counter after that last message and gave his forehead a nice smack with his hand, making extra sure he didn’t power it with One for All because he does not feel like snapping his own neck.
Instead, he hung his towel up and stepped into the shower. Allowing for the warm water to relax his muscles after a particularly long day of training. He gave a hiss when the water hit a spot on his shoulder, reminding him that he got hit by Todoroki’s fire towards the end.
Maybe he should have gone to Recovery Girl after the lesson?
Izuku gave a cough, blinking when his vision seemed to be gaining dark spots. Then came more coughs and he suddenly flashed back to the bar in the middle of summer, late at night with a knock on a door and everyone being confused when the person claimed to be a pizza delivery guy.
He immediately stuck his arm out for the towel he left hanging and wrapped it around his waist just as the dark sludge came from his mouth and surrounded his whole body. To have him taken from the shower and out of UA completely.
The moment his vision cleared, Izuku could see that he was now in the middle of a living room in the house way out in the countryside that his family moved into after the heroes got Bakugou back from the summer kidnapping. With him as the only one who was still technically kidnapped, only kept because he just had to break his own arms.
He turned right behind him to where the culprit stood, his father who had the widest grin on his face imaginable.
“Couldn’t you have waited at least five more minutes you disaster of a cryptid!?”
“I told you I would be warping you here for the weekend, I even gave you a few days to prepare.”
“You have Search for crying out loud! You could have used that to find the right time and warp me then!”
In the corner of his eye, he saw the door open and Tomura start to step in. Looking right at Izuku for a few seconds, he started to get a grin on his face.
“Hey Brat-”
“Don’t you even start.”
“Boys, do try to get along. I don’t want to have a repeat with my own little brother.”
Izuku just rubbed at his temples once more, only to groan when the towel fell to the ground. He didn’t even flinch when his brother started snickering, instead he picked up the nearest pillow and charged his arm with One for All and chucked it at Tomura.
“I’m going to my room to get some clothes on, then afterwards we’re having a talk about timing. Specifically your crap timing Dad.”
“I think my timing is impeccable.”
Izuku simply rolled his eyes as he picked up his towel, made sure it was secure, and made his way to his room where he knew he kept a few pairs of clothes in the event of something like this happening.
Who knows, maybe he could play card games with Dabi and Mr. Compress or play chess with his dad...
