    This is so lovely in its own right! And I love it too when coupled with the first drawing. The difference in background and clothing for a very different place (Mexican spring vs Canadian winter), and I adore seeing the lines and grey hair and the general clear progression of time and age between Arthur and Sadie in 1901 and 1911. The two pictures together really show a couple at the beginning of their relationship, and then peeking in again years later on them older and happy together, and still seeing that same gentle loving intimacy.
