Work Text:

Sakura woke up to kisses.

It was a very nice way to wake up, she wasn’t complaining. The kisses started on her arm and made their way up to the top of her shoulder. They dipped down to caress her shoulder blade, then down a littler further to flutter against her ribs. They were soft and gentle, feeling like drops of the morning sunlight that was streaming in the window as she slowly opened her eyes.

The first thing she saw was Mikorin lying opposite her. His hair was messy from sleep and , strangely, he had a mischievous smile on his face.

When Sakura moved to sit up she realized why. Because she couldn’t sit up. In fact she couldn’t really do much more than wriggle because Nozaki was pressed up behind her and was in full on big spoon mode, his arms wrapped tight around her waist, his legs entwined with hers. By now he had moved on to kissing her neck and it wasn’t that it didn’t feel good, in fact it felt really, really nice but—

Sakura’s stomach growled.

“Nozaki, I need to get up, I’m really hungry!” she groaned, trying to sound serious which was hard with with Nozaki nibbling on her ear, which actually kind of tickled in a nice way. But no. She was being serious.

Nozaki wasn’t a morning person. He didn’t get grumpy or angry the way Mikorin could if you woke him up too early. He just took a really long time to wake up and until then he could be a little…

“Mmmm don’t want to. Chiyo-chan’s so tiny and cute. And tiny. Beautiful, tiny Chiyo-chan…Mmm.”

Goofy. He could be a little goofy and silly. Which on any other morning would have been adorable but a) Sakura really was hungry and b) Nozaki’s sleep-tipsy appreciation of her “tiny cuteness” seemed to consist of him kissing every spot he could reach and hugging her to him like his personal teddy bear. With no sign of letting her go.

“Mikorin h-hah-help me!”Sakura exclaimed, trying not to laugh as Nozaki found another ticklish spot at the top of her spine(her “tiny cute” spine she thought she heard him mumble).

Mikorin gave a dramatic sigh.

“I don’t know Sakura, I’m still pretty tired, I don’t think there’s much I can do.” He said, but he gave her a wink.

“Oh well, I guess I’ll just go take a shower. Have fun living with a Nozaki stuck to you for the rest of your life, Sakura. You will be missed.”

Mikorin yawned and got up, walking around past Nozaki’s side of the bed as though to go to the bathrom. But at the last minute he pounced, swooping down, turning Nozaki to face him and kissing him, deeply and passionately. Sakura watched for a moment, mesmerized as her boyfriends lips pressed against each other, moving sensuously against each other, until she realized that Nozaki had relaxed his grip on her.

She made a leap for it, crawling across the bed and bouncing off with a squeal of happiness.

“Yes! Freedom!”

Mikorin pulled away from Nozaki,

“Haha, I knew it would wor---“

Which was when the cuddle-happy Nozaki decided to glomp onto Mikorin and drag him down on top of him in Sakura’s place, wrapping his arms snugly around the redhead.
“Mikoto, you’re not as tiny as Chiyo-chan” Nozaki murmured, “But you’re just as cute. Cutest boyfriend.” He promptly began kissing Mikorin again.

“Sa-kura, he—lp,” Mikorin said breathlessly between kisses that he was resisting less and less, “This---did-n’t go--Mmm—as planned!”

Sakura tried to hold back her giggles as she looked around for something to rescue Mikorin with. She wasn’t strong enough to pry Mikorin out of Nozaki’s grasp and since Nozaki’s mouth was currently occupied she couldn’t pull the same trick Mikorin had.

And then she spotted Nozaki’s wriggling feet, almost dangling off the edge of the bed.

In one swift movement she reached out and ran her fingers quickly along Nozaki’s sensitive soles, the one place he was ticklish. Nozaki’s legs jerked and he started laughing against Mikorin’s lips.

“Make a run for it Mikorin!!”

Mikorin sprang out of Nozaki’s limp arms as their boyfriend rolled over onto his side, pulling his legs up and away from Sakura’s teasing hands. Mikorin, still flushed from his unexpected makeout session ran up behind Sakura and, in a fit of high spirits, hoisted her into a piggyback.

“Quick Sakura, let’s escape! To the kitchen!”

Sakura wrapped her arms and legs tightly around Mikorin as he rushed out of the bedroom and into the bright morning sunlight of the kitchen where he skidded to a halt on the linoleum. Both of them were breathless and laughing.

“Man, that Nozaki.” Mikorin said, “What are we even dating Chiyo?”

“Haha, come on, Nozaki’s just cuddly. I wouldn’t have minded it so much if he’d let me have breakfast first.” She sighed and let her chin rest on the top of Mikorin’s head as her stomach growled again.

“Oh that’s right you were hungry,”Mikorin said, tilting his head up to look at her, "What do you want to eat?”

“Oh we should have pancakes! With strawberries and blueberries and lots of syrup!” Sakura rambled, practically drooling already. Mikorin nodded enthusiastically,
“Mm, that sounds good—oh Nozaki!.” Their boyfriend had appeared in the doorway, thankfully looking a little more awake, “Welcome back to the land of the living.” Nozaki yawned.

“Why’d you guys run away. Not fair.”

“Says you, you big--- octopus grizzly bear.” Sakura burst out laughing at that.

Nozaki took a few steps towards them, a curious look on his face and then said,

“Sakura, stay there for a second. I don’t have to bend down to kiss you now.”

He was right. With her still perched on Mikorin’s back she was almost eye to eye with Nozaki. Her heart skipped a beat as Nozaki cupped her face and gave her a deep, warm kiss.
“Hey! What am I, a step ladder?” Mikorin grumbled beneath them, although his face was flushed.

Sakura smiled, sliding down off Mikorin and, with a look to Nozaki the too moved to kiss Mikorin on each of his blushing cheeks.

“Better?”

“Yeah I guess…”

“I’ll start the pancakes.” Nozaki said.
