Chapter Text
“Excuse me, but is Dabi here?”
The sound of your voice put Dabi on edge. He looked over his shoulder to see you enter the bar with an innocent smile on your lips as Kurogiri let you walk inside. His body tensed, seeing his colleagues look at you in question and he didn’t miss the way Shigaraki’s shoulders straightened up in interest.
Your eyes shined with stars, seeing your beloved boyfriend and you walked over to him, ignoring his colleagues completely. You wrapped your hands around his waist, gazing up at him with a cheekily smile, knowing you aren't supposed to be there. You had a feeling he's a bit on the edge at the moment from how stiff his body is. You just want to see him.
"What are you doing here?" Dabi questioned, gritting his teeth as he gazed down at you. He lowered his voice, "You know you're not suppose to be here."
"I wanted to see you and there's something I need to tell you," you said, pursing your lips.
You had recently went to the doctor's office because you weren't sure if you could fully trust a pregnancy test even though you bought the most accurate one. You had recently been feeling nauseous and you have morning sickness this past week which was odd. You and Dabi haven't really been using any sort of protection at all, but you had a feeling it was bound t o happen.
"Who's this little beauty?"
You looked to the side to see a man with baby blue hair and his face is covered with a hand mask. You've never seen anyone with a mask like that, but the man looked oddly skinny. Almost as if he's sick kind of skinny. His complexion doesn't even look healthy either! You could only wonder what kind of people Dabi's colleagues were.
"None of your business!" Dabi hissed, scowling at Shigaraki. "Let's go."
Dabi removed your arms around his waist, grabbing you by the hand and walking towards the door. You looked over your shoulder, seeing a man in a black body suit with white on the very top of his mask. You noticed a girl that seemed to be in her teenage years with blond hair and a present blush on her cheeks. You noticed a man with a very funny looking hat and a mask with mostly white and black outlining on. A man with a lizard like body and the very last man with large lips.
"We should have more girls here!" The blond yelled, a smirk on her lips as she gazed at you. "Can we Shigaraki! Dabi! Let her stay!"
Dabi stopped in front of the door and you accidentally bumped into his chest. You looked up at him, your gaze trailing up to his back then finally landed on the back of his head. He looks over his shoulder, directing his cold ocean colored eyes at his colleagues and you felt his grip on your hand tighten.
"No."
With that, you and Dabi walked out of the bar in a normal pace and the door closed behind you. You felt bad because he's told you before to never go to that bar ever and you completely disobeyed him. He's probably upset with you and you honestly won't be surprised if he didn't talk to you for days because of it.
Just the thought of him shutting you out again made tears rise to your eyes as your chest squeezed. It's been a while since he shut you out, but the reason why he shut you out wasn't because of you. He was going through something and he didn't tell you what was going and he hasn't contacted you in weeks at all.
During those weeks you believed he had been captured by the police and he was in prison until the day he showed up at your doorstep. He did apologize for being gone and all, but he didn't tell you why at all. You just wish he'll open up to you more even though he has in the past, but he does open up to you a lot except for that one time.
"Touya," you called out.
Dabi made it an exception for you to call him by his birth given name. You know he doesn't tell anyone his given name at all not even his colleagues and that's why you called him by Dabi when you entered the bar. He doesn't give out his real name so carelessly and you've noticed that.
"I'm sorry about not listening to you, but there's something I need to tell you," you informed, stopping in your tracks. Your cease of walking had caused Dabi to stop in his tracks as well, taking notice of how your arm tugged when he tried to walk a step forward. "I couldn't wait for you to come by because it's urgent."
"Urgent enough to have the others know what you look like?" Dabi questioned, letting out a sigh. He let go of your hand he he turned his body to the side, gazing at you with a disappointed gaze. "They're aware that you have ties to me. What if those fucking assholes decide to go after you for more information about me?"
"I'm sorry, Touya, but-"
"There's no excuses, [Name]," Dabi snapped.
His cold tone made you close your mouth. You gazed at your boyfriend, tears stinging to rise in your eyes as a cold draft comes through the area. The wind pulls at your clothes and you hug yourself, rubbing your arms to emit warmth. There's a streetlight a couple of steps in front of Dabi and his back is towards it, the two of you standing in a very dim part of the street.
Dabi let out a sigh, rubbing the space between his eyes. "Be more considerate, [Name]."
"Funny hearing that from you," you chuckled dryly, your body trembling a little bit from the cold. "I'm sure that you don't even care you're going to be a father soon."
Dabi's eyes widen and he watched you turn your back towards him and walked away. He stood there frozen in his spot, gazing at your retreating back and he wondered if he heard you correctly. He remembered that your stomach hasn't expanded recently so he assumes you must have found out rather early.
He's going to be a father?
***
You slammed the door shut with a great force, your winds, walls, and door rattling from the force. You walked over to the couch, sitting down and grabbing a pillow, holding it close to your chest. Tears had already rolled down your cheeks and soaked into the pillow. You had wanted to tell Dabi about being pregnant on a happy note, but not like that.
"Maybe I shouldn't have gone off like that without him," you sighed, closing your eyes. "I shouldn't have made that remark too. He's probably burning with rage, huh?"
You looked to your cat, seeing the Scottish Fold look up at you with his cute eyes. You placed a hand on top of Koya's head, feeling the soft fur behind your finger tips and you gave the cat a smile despite the tears in your eyes. Koya let out a purr, rubbing himself against your arm as you pet his head.
"You're the best, Koya," you chuckled, your smile widening. "Do you think he'll forgive me?"
"I already have."
You felt your body tense up as all blood leaves your body. You looked over your shoulder quickly, seeing Dabi standing behind the couch with a smirk on his features. You gazed at him with wide eyes, possibly wondering how he got inside of your home because the front door has been closed since you came inside.
"Your bedroom window was left open," Dabi explained, leaning against the couch. "I closed it when I came through. Be careful next time, [Name]."
"Did you come here to scold me or apologize?" You snapped, scowling at him.
He laughed. "Both."
You stood up from the couch, putting the pillow back onto the couch and you walked past Dabi, wanting to go into your room. The man laughed cockily, grabbing you by the arm and pulling you towards him. You landed flush against his chest and you scowled at him, your Quirk can't get you out of his arms.
"Let me warm you up, [Name]," Dabi said, gazing into your [Eye Color] eyes. "Your body has been cold and you don't have a heater in here."
"Are you completely ignoring what I told you?" You asked, hurt flashing in your eyes. "About you becoming a father? Touya, I'm pregnant. You don't even fucking care do you!"
Dabi wrapped his arms around you, holding you close to him as one arm is around your waist while the other is cradling the back of your head. "Of course I care. I heard you clearly and I'm happy you're pregnant with my child, [Name]. I really am." You closed your eyes, crying into his shoulder and he smiled. "The thought you being in danger couldn't let me think about being a father. I don't want you getting involved with the League of Villains."
"I thought you wouldn't be happy," you sobbed, clenching Dabi's jacket in your hands.
Dabi scoffed. "Why wouldn't I be? I just have to man up and marry you already."
You pulled away to look up at him. He has the softest smile on his lips as he gazed down at you and he used the hand that's cradling the back of your head to wipe away the remaining tear on your cheek. Your eyes flickered between his eyes then down at his lips, knowing that he holds love in his eyes and genuine happiness in his smile.
"I thought... you didn't want to get married so early," you said, feeling his hand settle on the side of your face.
"If it's with you I don't mind," Dabi mumbled, leaning his forehead against yours. "Just wait a bit longer with being a married couple. You're going to be a Todoroki, but that's fine with me."
You smiled, your arms around his neck and you jumped into his arms, your feet off the ground. He chuckled, hugging you tightly and he placed a kiss on your neck. You can't believe he said he's fine with you being a Todoroki because you know how much he hates his father and his real name. You're happy that he's thinking about marrying you.
You looked down at him with a smile plastered to your lips and he gazed up at you with a smile too. The two of you connected lips, Dabi holding you up in his arms as the two of you decide to take it into the bedroom.
