The sun shone brightly, the warm glow illuminated the omega's face as he sat down in front of the alpha in the carriage. The omega's face started to heat up once he noticed the way the alpha was looking at him, at first he didn’t notice as he was mesmerized by the beautiful scenery.

He started feeling uncomfortable, nervously playing with his clothes as he kept his head down, trying his best to ignore the way Jungkook was looking at him, he had a very unpleasant expression on his face as he observed the omega, he had thrown a few remarks here and there that were meant to be to himself, but Jimin still heard them.

Jimin didn’t even know why he was the one chosen as an alternative to Hyunae, the two are nothing alike, and by the alpha's behavior, Jimin seemed to lack a lot compared to her. The pack offering Jimin as an alternative to the omega made sense since he was not welcomed by the pack. His childhood was different but after the last issue that occurred, he got insulted and criticized by them.

The pack leader talked to Jimin two days ago, telling him about the board's decision on sending him in place of Hyunae, since the deal was completed from Jungkook side, but Hyunae and the pack leader’s son, Jiwoon mated secretly, or at least that was what the pack leader had claimed.

To be able to avoid a bigger problem with the neighboring pack, the pack leader told Jungkook that he has a perfect omega for the trade, trying his best to not ruin his relationship with the neighboring pack, especially since they are much stronger, and have better resources that could come in-handy in the future.

Jungkook wasn’t really happy about the sudden change of their agreement that the pack leader implied on him last minute. He already completed his side of the agreement, yet the pack leader sent off a different omega with him, and that explained the angry expression on his face.

He met Hyunae a few times, and he gained interest in the omega, as she was really bubbly and social, while Jimin seemed boring, at least to Jungkook. He tried talking to the omega, but the omega was really self-conscious, he would think a lot before he talked, he didn't talk back either. He didn't seem like himself and Jungkook hated that.

The alpha didn’t like Jimin, he was beautiful compared to other omegas he came across, but there’s something when he looks at him that makes him feel burdened, his eyes have no life in them, it's like he lost his will to live, Jungkook hated that too, and that's why he wasn’t fond of the omega sitting in front of him.

Jungkook normally wouldn’t care about others, but the way the pack leader told him that Jimin was more than happy, and even excited to go back with him, even if they don’t end up mating, made the alpha feel a bit hesitant to reject the omega, but it turned out it was just the pack leader way to persuade him to take Jimin, who didn’t have enough courage to say no to him.

Jimin was beautiful, his hair was black and a bit long, it had beautiful waves that gave his face a more innocent look. Eyes were dark and had no shine in them, but that didn’t affect his beauty. Lips were plump but he could still notice that they were dry and a bit chapped.

To Jungkook, Jimin didn’t seem like a person who took care of himself too much, which made him think of how he was wasting his beauty. He was self-conscious and quiet. Did he really agree to mate him? Jungkook kept wondering as he observed the omega.

The omega's eyes widened slightly while observing their surroundings, high security forces protected the gate, few guards followed them inside to the pack's city. Once the city came into view. Jimin kept mumbling sweet words that described the city, ‘ maybe he isn’t that bad ‘ Jungkook thought, a very small smile formed on his face.

A loud laughter was heard as few kids followed the cart, and for the first time, Jungkook noticed the omega eyes glisten. He had a spark in his eyes once he saw the kids, but his smile turned to a frown as fast as his smile came. Jimin's eyes fell on his feet as he bit his own lips.

“ We are here “ Jungkook said as the carriage came to a stop, Jimin looked at him before nodding. Normally the alpha would make an effort and help the omega he escorts, but for the first time, he really wanted to get separated from the omega, so he let him help himself get out of the carriage.

Jungkook got down and started walking inside the pack leader's house, which is also his parents house. Jimin took a deep breath before following the alpha, he was already regretting coming this far, but he was not wanted anymore in his pack, so coming here was his only option for now.

Jimin followed the alpha inside, he was hesitant but Jungkook's loud voice telling him to hurry made him rush his way in. “ Jeon Jungkook “ the two stopped once they heard a high pitched voice call the alpha, “ what is it this time? “ the alpha rolled his eyes as he stood in front of his mother, Jimin standing three steps behind him.

“ Is that a way for you to treat your omega? “ she asked. “ He is not my omega.. “ he answered, glancing to the back. “ but wasn’t the deal that you- “ Jungkook interrupted his mother, “ the omega mated someone secretly, and so he is her substitute.. “ he blurted annoyedly, Jimin smiled softly before looking down, he was used to the harsh words so he didn’t mind how rude Jungkook was.

“ can’t you be more considerate..? '' she asked, eyes apologetically looking at the omega behind her son. “ did it bother you? '' Jungkook suddenly turned around, Jimin eyes widened slightly in surprise when his eyes met with Jungkook’s, “ n-no.. it’s ok “ he smiled, eyes looking down. Jungkook observed him from head to toe before turning back to face his mother.

The head omega can sense the awkward and uncomfortable atmosphere surrounding the two, “ anyway,.. “ she blurted out, taking a step closer to the omega, her hand gently wrapping around Jimin's shoulder, “ what is your name? “ she asked, Jimin shyly smiled at her, “ J- Jimin.. “.

“ such a cute name “ she mumbled as she walked with Jimin, “ how about taking a shower and maybe rest a little? I am sure it was a long ride, we will talk later after you get some rest and get used to the place a bit more “ she said, the boy nodded, he didn’t have much say in it, so he just agreed before he followed her.

“ you will be sharing the room with Jungkook, is that fine with you? “ she asked, the boy didn’t know how to answer, but before he could even give an answer to her, Jungkook already blocked their way, “ shouldn’t you be asking me that? “ he asked, and she rolled her eyes, “ if I remember right, you said we didn’t have to prepare a room for our guest, so stop making a big deal of it just because Jimin wasn’t the omega you wanted to mate “.

How long does Jimin have to pretend these words don't affect him or his feelings? He was thrown out of the comfort of his house, he got exhausted by the chores he was given, he suffered from a harsh incident that had two awful outcomes, and now he got kicked out from the pack by the pack leader, to be a suitable mate to the neighboring pack alpha, but the truth was that no matter where he goes, no one accepts him.

“ can’t you prepare one now? “ Jungkook's question brought the boy back to his senses, “ Jungkook, you two will share the room, end of discussion “ she angrily said before she turned to look at Jimin, “ your baggage will be brought to the room while you shower “ she said, a soft smile on her lips.

Jimin shook his head, “ those are gifts from the head alpha, I already have my baggage.. “ he said, showing her his small bag, The omega smile dropped slightly, “ that’s all? You didn’t bring the rest? “ she asked, Jimin shook his head, “ the rest is just my room furniture, so my bag is the only thing I brought “ he said, tone hesitant.

The two already seem to have judged him, but now he feels worse because he could sense the judgment increased by the way the two looked at him. “ I will ask some of the workers to bring you new clothes “ she smiled, the omega shook his head, “ it’s ok, but thank you.. “ he muttered softly.

“ I insist “ she smiled, reaching to hold Jimin. The omega bit his lips, looking down, he was hurt but he didn’t know how to decline her offer without sounding rude. Did he really look that awful that they think poorly of him, he hoped that one day people would stop pitying him.

Jimin may look like a person who doesn’t take care of himself, but the omega is the opposite of what people think of him. The way he was treated the past months had visible effects on him and he hated growing weak, but if someone bothered to listen to him, he would’ve never reached this point, but no one cared, so he stopped caring, even if he was hurt.

“ Jungkook “ Luna called, “ show him your room, and let him rest please? “ she added. The alpha was really annoyed but agreed knowing his mother will not change her mind. The two boys started walking toward the room, Jimin bowed to the head omega before following the alpha to his room.

Jungkook opened the door and walked inside, he didn’t bother helping the omega, or at least keep the door open so he could easily follow him inside. “ The bathroom is there if you want to shower “ he said, laying down on his bed to rest. Jimin nodded, he observed his surroundings before he placed his bag in the corner of the room, “ is it ok if I put my bag here? “ he asked, Jungkook's response was only a hum.

The omega kneeled down and opened his bag, he took his clothes before he walked toward the bathroom to take a shower. If he could be honest, he showers a lot, but with the difficult tasks he is given, he gets dirty easily. He was forced to leave before he could even change his clothes, so a shower is really what he needs the most at the moment.

He closed the door of the bathroom after he got inside, leaving Jungkook alone in the room, leaving Jungkook to rest. He got his small towel and dipped it in the water, he started wiping his body with the wet cloth before using some of the soap that was placed next to the water zinc tub, he tried his best to clean his body and hair from the dirt he got while working on his chores before leaving with Jungkook.

Jimin just hoped that maybe after he freshened up a bit, the alpha will have a better view of him. He dried his body after he finished before changing into his dry, clean clothes. He combed his hair gently before patting his hair with the towel, trying to get it less wet.

The omega opened the door slightly after he finished, peeking his head out to check on Jungkook before leaving, the alpha looked at him with a confused expression. “ What are you doing? “ he asked, an eyebrow raised as he observed Jimin, the omega shook his head before getting out of the bathroom, “ nothing, just wanted to check on you.. didn’t want to bother you.. “ he mumbled softly but the alpha just rolled his eyes.

Jungkook observed the omega from head to toe when he saw him walk toward him, “ you look different,.. “ he muttered, “ cleaner too “ he added bluntly. Jimin released a dull, slightly burnt peachy scent from the alpha response, but he never responded to the offensive response.

The alpha scrunched his nose as he stood up, “ do you want to rest? “ he asked, trying to ignore the fact his words hurted the omega. Jimin shook his head, “ no.. “ he mumbled softly, eyes on the floor. Jungkook nodded, “ let’s go meet my dad then “ he said, walking past Jimin, the omega followed him right away.

The two went toward the head alpha office, they waited outside until the head alpha finished with his daily meeting with the pack officials. “ The head alpha said you can come in. “ a beta said to Jungkook and Jimin once the officials left the office.

Jungkook walked inside and Jimin followed him, the two stood next to each other as they greeted the head alpha. The alpha smiled toward Jungkook before his eyes fell on Jimin, “ That is Hyunae? “ he asked, Jungkook shook his head, “ Jimin, the head alpha offered to send him instead of the other omega because she already mated someone by the time I went back there “.

The head alpha nodded, eyes observing Jimin. The omega was slightly scared, the alpha didn’t say much to him and just observed him. “ you’re scaring him. “ The head omega said to her mate, hand resting on Jimin's back. “ Sorry, I am just not fond of outcomers.. “ the alpha said, eyes looking straight into Jimin’s eyes.

Jimin shook his head, “ it’s ok,.. “ he muttered softly, head low. “ as you can see, Jungkook was supposed to mate with an omega from your pack, but as always the Park pack failed to keep their part of the deal again,.. “ he started, gaining the omega attention. “ I am sorry.. “ Jimin said on behalf of his pack.

The alpha smiled, “ you being my son's future mate, you should know that you must take a role in helping aiding the pack “ he said trying to change the topic, he eyed the omega wanting to examine the way he reacts. Jimin nodded, “ I would love to help.. “ he said, head still low. Jungkook sighed, “ at least say it as you mean it “ the alpha said.

Jimin bit his lips but kept his head low, even if his scent exposed how he felt by Jungkook words. “ Jungkook, mind your words a little bit “ his mother said, eyes glaring at the alpha. Jungkook shrugged his shoulders before looking at his father, not caring much about the omega feelings.

“ is there anything you are good at? “ The head omega asked, Jimin looked at her for a few seconds before looking down. “ I used to help my pack with various chores so I will be fine with any job you or the head alpha assign me to “ he said politely. “ and something you prefer to work on? “ she asked, a smile on her face.

The omega had a place in mind, but he was hesitant to tell them. The sweet scent filled the room when he thought of the place he wanted to work in, the three observed the omega waiting for his response, “ the nursery..? “ he mumbled softly, a small smile on his lips as he thought of the pups he will meet there. The omega smiled as she looked toward her mate, looking for his approval.

The head alpha didn’t trust Jimin because of the pack he belonged to, but the change of the omega scent at the mention of the nursery made him somehow agree. He nodded toward his omega, “ you can work in the nursery,.. “ he started, gaining the omega attention.

“ But you will be under supervision, the nursery is an important faculty of the future of our pack, so we can’t just leave an outsider to roam there freely without supervision “ he said, tone stern. Jimin smiled as he nodded, “ I don’t mind, I am already thankful that you allowed me to work there “ he said, a wide smile taking over his face.

Jungkook felt like his breath got caught in his throat, it was the first time he saw the boy genuinely smile, and if he could be honest, he was beautiful. Jimin felt eyes on him so he looked toward Jungkook, his smile still big and visible, and it drove Jungkook alpha crazy, Jimin blushed and looked down, he was taken aback by the way Jungkook looked at him.

“ how about we go and check on the nursery? “ The omega said, gaining the two attention. “ I would love too “ Jimin smiled, “ Jungkook, come with us “ she said, smiling toward her son. The alpha shook his head, “ I will pass.. “ he said looking away, “ I wasn’t asking “ the omega said with a raised eyebrow. The alpha rolled his eyes before following the two omegas, he knew she asked him to come because she caught him staring, and he hated that she did.

The road toward the nursery was really beautiful, there were a lot of houses, and beautiful small gardens in front of them. There were a lot of shops along the road, a bakery, a flower shop and a few more different shops. Jimin was really impressed by the Jeon’s pack.

Jimin always thought their pack was beautiful, but after entering Jeon's territory everything changed, he new that it was just because he never went outside of their territory that he thought it was beautiful, what he loved more was that children freely roamed the city, knowing by the end of the day they will be safe, unlike the Park’s.

In the Park’s city even adults weren’t safe, and Jimin is fully aware of that because he fell a victim a while back. Jungkook noticed how absent minded Jimin was so he nudged his side to gain his attention, but the loud gasp leaving the omega mouth surprised the alpha. The two stared at each other with a wide, surprised expression on their faces.

“ i-.. I.. sorry.. “ Jimin bowed to Jungkook, feeling his cheeks deepen in color as he was embarrassed. Jungkook gulped before shaking his head meaning it’s ok, he didn’t know the omega was sensitive or even ticklish so his reaction really surprised him.

“ Let's go in, my mom went in before us.. “ the alpha said, tone nervous and cheeks slightly red. Jimin quietly followed the alpha inside, he was really nervous as it had been a while since he was around pups, especially newborn pups, Jiwoon made sure to prevent him from doing all the things he loved, and for the first time he is thankful toward the head alpha for sending him with Jungkook.

Jimin could hear the laughter of the pups playing inside a room, and a few newborn pups crying in a different one. If someone walked in may feel annoyed or bothered by the small pups chaos but to Jimin their laughter was like music to his ear and their cries ached his heart.

Jungkook rested a hand on Jimin's back, pushing him slightly forward to go inside the room his friends work in. “ hey Chungha, please check on Joon? “ A male omega said loudly while holding a crying baby, “ tae I am feeding seoyeon “ the girl omega said before letting out a loud breath, the nursery had many pups, and with a small number of workers it was hard aiding all of them.

The omega tugged on Jungkook's shirt slightly, “ can I help them? “ Jimin asked, eyes glistening slightly in anticipation, he really wanted to help the crying pup but he didn’t want to do so without asking for permission. Jungkook noticed how full Taehyung and Chungha were so he nodded toward Jimin, fully aware that his friends really needed help.

A smile took over the omega features as he walked toward the crying pup, the small pup cheeks and nose were red, his eyes full of tears and a frown on his face as he cried, seeing the pup sad expression hurt Jimin, he hurriedly carried the pup, “ shush.. “ Jimin sweetly said as he held the pup close to his chest.

The pup continued to cry as Jimin gently caressed his head while gently rocking his small body. Jungkook examined the omega every action, checking if he was good enough to help with taking care of the pups or it was just his way to get in the nursery, their weakest spot.

A minute later Jimin was able to stop the pup from crying, he was whispering a sweet lullaby to his ear as he gently caressed his head, the pup held Jimin clothes tightly, looking at the omega, sniffing his nose while few hiccups escaped his lips. Jimin smiled at the pup, ignoring the glistening tears forming in his eyes.

The rotten smell of peaches reached toward Jungkook who was still observing the omega, with furrowed eyebrows he walked toward the omega but stopped when he felt a hand wrap around his wrist. “ don’t.. “ his mother mumbled next to his ear, eyes on Jimin.

“ why? “ Jungkook looked at her confused, “ just give him time,.. holding joon made him emotional and it’s better if you give him space “ she said as quietly as she could, not wanting the omega to hear her. “ but it doesn’t make sense, unless he wants to do something bad to him.. “ Jungkook said, tone harsh but low.

The head omega smiled, she pointed toward Jimin with her head, “ does he look like a person that wants to hurt a pup? “ she asked. She smiled when she saw Jimin smile while looking at Joon who started playing with him. “ looks can be deceiving.. “ Jungkook muttered and his mother laughed, “ true, but emotions don't.. and if you observe him enough you will know.. “.

“ I still don’t trust him.. “ Jungkook muttered, eyes on Jimin. “ you’re free right? “ the omega asked, looking at her son. The alpha nodded, confused by the sudden question, “ good, you will be the one guarding Jimin until your next trip “ she said, the alpha eyes widened as he shook his head, “ no! Why?? “ he asked.

“ You don’t trust him, having you guard him is enough, I will tell your father so don’t think of escaping this “ she said to Jungkook who was dumbfoundedly looking at her, she booped his nose with her index as she laughed, walking away from him.

Jungkook felt like he wanted to cry but he knew his mother left to talk to his father, so there’s no point in talking to the two because he knows his father will agree to whatever she says. He rubbed his temples while mumbling low curses to himself, “ hey “ he heard someone say from behind him.

He turned around to see his best friend holding a pup in his arms, “ oh hey tae,.. “ he said, a small pout on his lips. “ what’s wrong? “ Taehyung asked, concerned over his friend, “ nothing, I just have to babysit someone I guess.. “ he muttered annoyedly as he looked toward Jimin.

The omega eyes followed Jungkook’s, his eyes falling on the stranger holding Joon, “ oh, who is that? “ Taehyung asked curiously, “ Hyunae substitute “ he mumbled tiredly before turning to look at Taehyung. “ substitute? “ the omega asked shocked.

“ Yeah, after I made a deal with her pack it seems like she mated someone in secret, and to complete their side of the deal I got him “ he said harshly, not really happy about Jimin being here. “ Hey,.. don’t be rude.. even if he is a substitute he has feelings too “ Taehyung said, a frown on his lips.

Jungkook sighed, “ god, ok.. “ he said as he rolled his eyes. Taehyung shook his head, “ Anyway, introduce us? “ he said, tone a bit cheerful. “ you have a well functioning mouth and legs, go there and do it yourself? “ the alpha said annoyedly, Taehyung kicked him with his feet, “ do it! “ he said, eyes sharp as he glared at his friend.

The alpha really regretted coming along because since Jimin came he got scolded and punished over stupid matters regarding the omega. “ Jimin “ Jungkook called loudly, scaring the small pup in Jimin's arm, the omega jumped slightly but answered the alpha right away as he started rocking the pup in his arms to calm him down again.

Taehyung really wanted to hit the alpha but his hands were full, Jungkook should be thankful right now. “ This is my friend Taehyung, you will be working here with him “ he said, tiredly pointing at the omega, Jimin eyes went from the pup in his arms to the alpha, and then toward the omega standing next to Jungkook.

He smiled before he bowed slightly with the pup in his arms, “ hello, I am Jimin.. “ the omega said, smiling sweetly toward the omega. “ I am taehyung “ the other omega said, walking closer toward Jimin. “ he must really like you,.. “ he started, using the back of his index finger to caress the small pup cheek.

Jimin was confused, “ Joon, he doesn’t like others, he only stops crying when he is tired, so I am really surprised he stopped crying in your arms “ he continued, smiling at Jimin, “ really? He stopped right away.. “ Jimin surprisingly said while looking at the small pup.

“ I am glad he did, he has been here for a few weeks now but we still struggle with him,.. “ the omega said to Jimin, “ why? maybe because he is attached to his mother? “ Jimin asked, Taehyung's smile dropped. Jimin was confused at the omega reaction but Jungkook interrupted them, “ he lost his mother, and a while later his father.. “ he said, looking straight into the omega eyes.

The last thing Jungkook thought he may see is a tear sliding down Jimin cheeks, he was really curious, he wanted to know why the omega cried but he didn’t ask, he remained quiet as he watched the omega wipe his own cheek, Taehyung nudged the alpha wanting to ask about the reason Jimin cried for but all he got was a shrug from the alpha as he was unaware of the reason too.

A month has passed since the omega arrived at the pack territory. Jimin was scared that the new pack will not accept him but after spending time with them, especially in the nursery he could feel the difference between here and his old pack, people in here seemed more united and accepting toward each other, they weren’t judgemental, and to his luck they didn’t try to pressure him to talk about his past if he wasn’t comfortable.

Even if he could, he would never share his past experience. The pain he went through, the heartache, the mistreatment all hurt him, and he just wanted to forget everything, even if by the end of the day everything comes back crashing on him.

Jimin has been with Jungkook almost everyday, and it would be a lie if he didn’t grow attached to the alpha. Jungkook was harsh on him, but he would still take care of him and make sure he was safe, maybe that's what made him relax in the presence of the alpha.

Jungkook left a week ago and since then, Jimin found it hard to fall asleep in the alpha's room alone, while the rainy forest scent covered the room. Jimin would wrap the blanket over his body as he hugged the alpha's pillow close to his body. A whine escaped his lips as he tried to inhale the alpha's scent, it had grown so faint that it was hardly there anymore, and it drove Jimin's wolf crazy.

Not being able to fall asleep, Jimin changed his clothes and left the room, he was careful not to make any sound as it was late in the night. The sky was dark, the city was quiet, few lights illuminated the road as he walked toward the nursery, taking care of the pups at night helped him calm down a little bit.

Jimin walked inside the room to see one of the caregivers sitting on a chair, she looked tired and sleepy as she sat in the quiet room taking care of the sleeping pups. Jimin knocked softly on the door not wanting to scare her at the middle of the night. “ Jimin.. “ she called softly as she walked toward him.

“ hello.. “ he sweetly said bowing to the old omega, “ why are you here again? “ She asked, “ I couldn’t sleep so I thought of coming here to help with the pups “ he said, glancing at the pups before looking at her. “ They are sleeping so I don’t think there is much to help with in here “ she said, gently caressing the male omega shoulder.

After standing close to her, Jimin could see the dark circles under her eyes, eyes red from how tired she was. “ Maybe not with them, but you look tired, how about you go sleep and I stay here with them? “ he asked, face worried as she observed her face. She was hesitant but she was really tired, and the omega had been helping her for a few days now, ‘ he could take care of the pups alone, right? ‘ she thought to herself as she looked at the omega.

“ Will you be alright alone? “ The omega asked, Jimin smiled as he nodded, “ if I need any help I will come find you, how about that? “ He said, tone sweet but low to not wake the pup from their sleep. The omega was really hesitant because she was advised not to let Jimin alone with the pups without supervision, but she was tired and all the time the omega spent with them, she knew he was really sweet.

Jimin could sense how uncomfortable and troubled the omega was by her scent, he didn’t want to pressure her but she looked really tired so he offered to be there alone, “ if you feel troubled by my request, you could sleep on the couch and I will stay here taking care of the pups? “ he said, a sad smile on his face.

The omega really cared about the pups, he felt sad that the pack still didn’t trust him fully, but Jimin being himself he never ranted about how he felt. In the end he was sent here by his old pack to get rid of him, and if the Jeon’s kicked him out too, he woul be left alone, lost and in danger. The omega didn’t want to push his luck any further, it was a miracle he was still there and he will try his best to keep himself from hurting others along the way.

“ I am sorry Jimin, I trust you, I really do, but we are not allowed to leave you without supervision.. “ the omega said, tone apologetic. Jimin smiled shaking his head, “ it’s ok, it was just because you looked tired, you can rest on the couch, it’s much comfortable than the chair “ he said smiling at her, the omega nodded, “ I will rest over there but if I fall asleep please wake me up if something happens “ she said, slightly worried.

Jimin nodded, “ don’t worry, I promise I will not hurt them, if anything happens that I can’t handle I will wake you up right away “ he said, looking fondly toward her. The omega mumbled a low ‘thank you’ before she went to rest on the couch, to her Jimin was trustworthy, something about him made her trust him from the first time he came to help, and she just hoped that she was right about trusting the omega with the pups while she rested.

Jungkook on the other hand was sent by the head alpha to a neighboring pack, the Jeon pack was known for making trade deals with the neighboring packs, under two conditions, first condition was that the pack trade came with a beneficial element that was equal to bothbof thr packs, and the second condition of trading goods meant that the packs weren't allowed to hurt each other's packs even the slightest.

The trade took longer than usual but the alpha was happy that they were finally going back to his territory. Normally he loved going on trade trips with some of the pack officials but this time, he hated how long it took.

The alpha was in the carriage with two other alphas and a beta. Jungkook always leave with the same guard group, he always tried to balance the group, taking the toughest guards doesn’t guarantee their safety, he needed someone to who uses his brain more than his muscles, and that’s why Jungkook father allowed him to go on trips with the same group, because out of all trips Jungkook’s group had less trouble than other groups.

The alpha rested his head back as he stared at the carriage ceiling, a small smile formed on his face. He didn’t know why but he really wanted to get back as fast as he could, it had been a while since he saw Jimin, and if he had to be honest? He missed him.

At first he was really upset but after spending time with Jimin, his view on the omega changed. At first he thought Jimin was only acting to gain their trust, but he caught him many times alone with the pups, he helped the caregivers with their chores while they were busy.

Jimin seemed to favor one of the pups too, he cared so much about him that it made Jungkook wonder if Joon was his pup, even if he knew it wasn't the case. Jungkook's smile got wider when he remembered a few days before he left, he saw Jimin laying Joon on the couch and making weird voices.

The reason why he looked at the omega was because he thought he was hurting Joon, when the alpha opened the door he saw Joon looking at Jimin with wide eyes, as if he was anticipating Jimin's next move. The omega made another weird voice as he tickled the pup, from his feet to under his armpit.

Joon giggles filled the room, he held Jimin's hands as he laughed his little heart out, Jimin giggled while he played with the pup. Joon stayed still watching Jimin rest his chin on his tummy as he moved it repeatedly leading the pup to laugh again. Jimin carried the pup and hugged him tightly, he was growing attached to the pup, and Jungkook was fully aware of that.

Jungkook shook his head as he walked the opposite way, going back to his parents place, maybe he started walking a bit faster to be able to meet the omega faster, but he would never admit it, even to himself.

The alpha reached his room, he fixed his clothes before pushing his hair back. He got inside the nursery and rushed his way toward the room the newborn pups were in, he slowly opened the door and peeked his head inside, he looked around the room but he didn’t see Jimin, he got inside the room checking on the pups to see one of the beds empty, “ where is Joon.. “ he asked himself as he turned around.

Jungkook froze when he saw Jimin laying down on the couch, Joon sleeping on his chest. The small pup's cheek was pressed against the omega chest and it formed a sideway pout on his face, the pup was drooling while holding into Jimin’s clothes.

Why did he think Jimin was bad? He didn’t understand why Jimin was being like this. At first he was feeling off by the omega presence, he thought a lot before he shared his opinion, his responses were short, he wouldn’t argue and always follow anything he was asked, so why did he think Jimin was sent to hurt them? He doesn’t know anymore.

In a short amount of time, Jimin proved them all wrong, even his father who was sure the Park’s were up to something by sending Jimin with him instead of Hyunae. How can someone be so caring to others? To strangers he never met in his life.

Jimin was like a mystery to him, and maybe that was what attracted him to the omega. Jimin was different, and compared to others he didn’t even try to put Jungkook in an uncomfortable situation just because he is supposed to be his mate.

Joon started crying, the two opened their eyes shocked by the sudden sound as they were lost in their own world, Jungkook's chest was pressing against the pup's head which made him wake up scared from the sudden closeness. Jimin hurriedly rocked the pup body, the omega chuckled softly as he tried to calm Joon while he whispered sweet words in his ear.

The two stayed on the couch, sitting close to each other as Jimin held the pup in his arms. The two kept stealing glances at the other through the whole night, until they fell asleep, Jimin head resting on Jungkook shoulder while the alpha head resting on his head. Their feelings were a mess, even though Jungkook clearly wanted the omega, Jimin didn’t think he deserved to be loved by the alpha.

Compared to Jungkook, Jimin was hiding an awful truth behind his innocence look, he was hiding a heartbreaking past that would make Jungkook hate him once he find out, he would love to tell Jungkook how he felt towards him but with a past like his, with the lies he kept hidden, Jungkook will surely hate him, and he didn’t know how to open up to the alpha.

It's been a few days since that night, and Jimin still tried to avoid being with Jungkook alone, even if they were sleeping in the same room every night, he tried his best to avoid the alpha. Jungkook was laying on the bed when he saw Jimin leaving the bathroom, he was walking toward the door to leave but he stopped when he heard Jungkook calling his name.

He would love to tell him, but he will lose too much, not only Jungkook but his pup too. Jimin eyes widened when he realized what crossed his mind, Joon wasn’t his pup, he was growing attached to the pup, telling Jungkook his secret will make him lose a lot, he would lose Joon too.

The alpha scrunched his nose at the sudden strong rotten smell coming from Jimin, he was deep in thoughts and tears staining his cheeks. Did he cross the line with his questions? Both of them stayed quiet, Jungkook understood Jimin needed time to clear his mind and thoughts, and he was planning on giving him time, his alpha in the other hand couldn’t leave Jimin alone while he cried himself to sleep, so he quietly pulled the omega close to his chest and he hugged him to sleep, the two didn’t comment and Just fell asleep holding each other.

A week passed and Jimin still didn’t talk to Jungkook, he spent most of his nights in the nursery, he would greet the alpha whenever he saw him but other than that he would always find a reason to not stay with the alpha in the same place, Jungkook was hurt by the way Jimin was avoiding him but he knew that it got to do with something from the other night.

He was trying to figure out how Jimin felt towards him, at the nursery he seemed like he exchanged the same feelings as Jungkook but when they spent the night together, it seemed like he was holding himself from being with Jungkook, and the alpha hated that he didn’t know the reason why, was it him? Was it Jimin? He didn’t know.

He saw Jimin laying down on the bed, his face was pale, his top body was exposed. The alpha walked towards the bed and placed a chair next to the omega side and sat next to him.

He could see the dark mark on Jimin's neck, it looked painful, he wondered if it hurt as much as he was hurt by the truth he found out about the omega. He held the cover and pulled it down slightly exposing the omega body, he could see the scars covering Jimin’s body.

Some of the scars looked really deep and big, he felt sorry toward the omega, even if he was hurt by the truth, Jimin didn’t deserve this. He didn’t know why, but he gently traced the scars as he glanced at the omega, “ it must have hurt.. “ he whispered as he looked at Jimin, “ a lot.. “ he added.

Few hours passed, Jimin felt his breathing getting heavier as his heartbeat raced, he squinted his eyes from the headache, he let out a cry of pain as he moved slightly to the side, but stopped when he felt a heavyweight on his stomach that stopped him from moving.

The omega opened his eyes to see Jungkook's head resting on him, ‘ why am I here.. ‘ Jimin asked himself as he tried sitting up but failed, he felt so powerless and unable to move from the exhaustion. Jungkook opened his eyes when he felt a movement from under his head.

Jungkook sat up and looked at the omega who was struggling to sit up, he helped the omega up. Jimin realized his body was exposed, when he felt Jungkook warm hands touching his skin, one of his hands rested on his back and the other on his shoulder as he helped him sit up, it was too late but he still covered his body.

“ No point in hiding your body, I already saw everything.. “ Jungkook said, face expression dull, eyes red and puffy. Jimin lowered his head, not finding enough courage to look into the alpha eyes. “ why,.. “ Jungkook started, “ why did you not tell me..? “ he asked, voice rough from his sore throat.

Jungkook stood outside the gate to the Park’s city, waiting for the guards to open the gate to give them access to go in, it took time but eventually the gates were opened. The alpha walked inside as his guards followed him, the head alpha assembled his guards to shield the entrance of his city.

The guards were shocked as they followed Jungkook to the carriage waiting outside the Park’s territory, normally Jungkook wouldn’t go this far when he talked to packs that break rules, but the alpha went hard on the Park’s pack, he solved the problem by his own, he didn’t even need the guards, he was capable to protect himself by his own, but them being there made them happy that Jungkook took revenge for the two guards who died for no reason by Jiwoon's hands.

The trip to the Park’s territory ended quickly, Jungkook and the guards went back to their own territory with victory on their faces. The way back took longer because the pack rested on the way back home but they still made it back early to their territory. Jungkook didn’t even take time to tell his father how it went, he rushed toward the nursery knowing that Jimin will be there at this time of the day.

Jungkook ran as fast as he could until he reached the nursery, he was nervous, his heartbeat increased as he tiredly stood outside of the nursery. He wanted to calm down before he met Jimin so he took a few minutes to calm himself outside before going into the nursery.

The omega felt so content by being with Jungkook and Joon, he never thought getting kicked out of his pack would allow him to experience happiness again, he may have lost his pup, he may have went through heartbreak as he experienced the pain of his mate mark getting broken, but maybe fate wanted to reunite him with Joon? He won’t be an alternative to his lost pup but they will be a piece to complete each other, he was thankful for earning a chance to be with Jungkook and Joon. He surely will do his best to keep them both safe, and loved.
