Ultra History With Zero-Sensei

Summary:

When a baby starts to cry, you do everything in your power to keep said baby from crying. What's a great way to get a baby to bed and to stop crying? Bedtime stories! Zero, of course, mostly just tells bedtime stories about himself, though.

Chapter 1: The One That Actually Counts as History

Chapter Text

“Okay Yuji, time for bed!” Riku smiled, picking up Yuji, who immediately, started squirming. Ultimately unable to free himself from his brother’s grip, he gave up, instead making a pouting face. “Come on, you need to sleep.”

Once Riku got Yuji to his crib, Yuji began to cry, an ear splitting wail that was soon became ear grating in it’s own right just from it’s length. Mayu, who sat on the couch in the main room, immediately covered her ears. Zero took control and sped to the room where Yuji’s crib was.

“Yuji!” He he called, “I’ll tell you a bedtime story.” Yuji, who may not fully understand what was being spoken to him, did calm down rather quickly after he was told that. He looked up at Zero, with big eyes, letting out a gurgle of excitement.

What exactly are you going to tell him?” Mayu asked, and if she were in control, she would have crossed her arms. She wasn’t really sure that Zero actually knew any stories.

“I’m going to tell him about my adventures,” Zero declared, to which Yuji made a cheerful sound. “But first, I think I need to tell him about the Land of Light.”

Mayu… wasn’t sure if Zero’s adventures were appropriate stories for a, maybe one month old, it was hard to say how old Yuji was. But she supposed it would be good for Yuji to at least learn more about the Land of Light, not to mention Riku seemed interested to know himself. She’s not sure how much Riku knows about the Land of Light, given he was raised on Earth. Mayu knew for sure that she knew nothing about it, but she was interested. It’s not like she could really get away from Zero telling the story, and Yuji looked interested.

The Land of Light is a clear, green planet, with cities mostly composed of a reminiscent green crystal material. The planet itself is sixty times the mass of Earth and surrounded by large floating landmasses circling its core which bears a resemblance to a galaxy.

History

A long, long time ago, our ancestors who were a lot like the human of earth lived in a peaceful technological utopia. Unfortunately, they lived on a planet orbiting a red giant near the end of it’s life.

image

The sun died and our ancestors only survived because of their advance technology but they were left in the dark without their sun.

image

The great minds of the planet came together and devised a replacement for their sun, the Plasma Spark.

A tower was built to house the Plasma Spark, so it could illuminate planet, in turn saved the planet and its people from freezing to death in the cold dark of space.

But during the work on the project, two of the workers were exposed to the ‘Differentior Rays’ and transformed into silver beings, with great strength and power.

image

The Elder who ruled the planet decided that all of his people should gain these powers and thus the project continued. When the Plasma Spark was activated, the planet was bathed in it’s light and the people were transformed.

image

What they didn’t expect was the light to travel beyond their planet and disrupt the natural flow of evolution and causing Kaiju to appear on nearby world.

The people then renamed their planet the Land of Light and their race soon became know as Ultras by other species. The newly christened Ultras had a strong cultural sense of justice and duty. So they decided that they would use their new and great powers for the peace of the universe. With that the Ultras took to patrolling space protecting planets by fighting invaders and monsters
Some species took offense of what the Ultras were doing and became their enemies. There were only ever dealt two serious blows twice in their long history as giants.
The first was a invasion by Alien Empera and it ended when Ultraman Ken fighting and wounded Alien Empera and as well as himself being injured. This resulted in the formation of the Space Garrison as a proper organization with Father of Ultra then known as Ultraman Ken becoming its first captain.

image

The second threat was one of their own, an Ultra by the name of Belial.  He was stopped by Ultraman King who sealed Belial away in what became to be known as the Space Prison which orbited the Land of Light like a moon.

And the tale of Belial is a story for another time

Plasma Spark

In the core of the Land of Light there is an artificial sun called the Plasma Spark that light up the entire planet, where the Plasma Spark Tower is located and where the Ultras receive their energies from.
The energy from the Plasma Spark is extremely powerful and dangerous since it can harm non-Ultra beings. The Ultras created a force field for guests that protected non-Ultras beings from the light as it is too dangerous.
If the Plasma Spark is ever removed, the Land of Light will freeze immediately from the lack of heat and the Ultras will become frozen. If returned, the planet will return to normal and the frozen Ultras will reawaken from their slumber
