There has always been a certain someone that I held very dearly in my heart. That someone just happened to be Zenitsu. He may seem like a coward to everyone but to me he’s simply just a guy with a soft heart.
I didn’t think he would be interested in me until he asked me out during one of our missions, scared he would die as always. He was shock to say the least when I answered yes and he started to automatically cry.
“ (Y/n)-channnnnn you are too kind!!Will you really go out with me?!!” Zenitsu said a bit doubtful.
“ Yes Zenitsu-kun I said I’ll go out with you”
Reassuring him that I wasn’t joking about my answer. With that said we officially became a couple and the first people we told were Tanjiro and Inosuke. Tanjiro being the kind soul he is, congratulated us but Inosuke on the other hand was more troublesome.
“ Ehhh girlfriend what is that??! Something you eat? I want one!!”
Inosuke demanded slamming his hand on the table. Tanjiro tried to explain to him that when a person loves another person dearly they form a bond where they only love each other and isn’t something that you can force.
After hearing his explanation Inosuke immediately insulted Zenitsu “Bwahahaha there is no way that (y/n) can love this crybaby!” he sneered. Being the soft hearted boy he was, Zenitsu started to cry on my shoulder and I just rubbed his back to calm him.
“ Inosuke don’t say such nonsense. I truly love Zenitsu so don’t even think about doubting it ”
He lifted his head off my shoulder snot running down his nose. Tears on the brim of falling once again.
“ (Y-y/n)-channnnn I’ll never be uncertain of our love ever again”
“ I’ll hold you to that promise”
