Chapter Text

Once upon a time 

A merchant with a white shirt, blue trousers  named Phoenix Wright, was living happily selling hair gel (or some kind of substances that acts like hair gel)  and making his parents proud...with selling hair gel,

But one day his mom died suddenly of old age, a few months later his dad followed,

Phoenix was so devastated, he stopped working for months, if it doesn't get any worse, (which it does) Some rowdy kids destroyed his home and his shop, and he was out of money

So, he has gone to live with his cousin, Lady Dahlia in her mansion

It doesn't get any better, maybe it gets even worse 

For you see, Lady Dahlia wasn't as sweet, innocent and caring as she pretends to be in public, she is a jealous, malicious and sadistic young woman who will stop at nothing to get what she wanted

She abused poor Phoenix, making him do all the chores, insulting him at every turn, making him sleep beside the fireplace making him always be covered in cinders, never buying him anything even clothes

And since it takes all day and all night to clean her mansion, he never gets to go outside

But, there are those rare times, when Dahlia goes shopping or goes on a business trip or when the house is 'clean enough' ( or more accurately when she gets tried of ordering him around) he gets to go outside

This is one of those times

Phoenix was walking around the town in the afternoon with his friends Larry wearing a orange shirt, black trousers and Maya wearing a purple maid outfit with only a white half apron

""When The Evil Lord attack, I The Steel Knight will fight him and his army, defending my beloved kingdom of Olde London from his tyranny" Isn't The Steel Knight soooooo cool!!"

"Eh, sounds kinda lame to me"

Maya glares at Larry

"Nobody, asked you, Larry!"

"You still upset about that"

"Yeah, you showed Pearl, an 8 year old your erotic books!"

"Look like I said I'm sorry, it was an accident, I didn't mean it for it to happen"

"I didn't know how to explain it to Aunt Morgan I thought I was dead!!"

"Look, it all has been solved, right?"

*sighs* " I suppose, yeah"

"Then, there is nothing to be upset about"

*sigh* "Fine!, just promise to me that you will hide these books better"

"I promise!"

"Good, hey Nick "

Phoenix was walking slower then them staring at the ground, staring into space, feeling a weird presence trying to comfort him

"Hey, Nick"

Maya then walks up to him, and pulls onto one of his natural spikes 

"Ow!, What was that for, Maya?!!"

"You weren't listening to me, Nick!"

"Oh, I'm sorry"

*sighs* "Is it Dahlia again"

"Yeah, nothing new, really"

"Seriously Nick, you have gotta get out of there, she's abusing you!"

"Yeah, but what other choice do I have?"

"You know, you could stay with me"

"Yeah, but would your aunt allow me?"

"......"

"Exactly"

"Ya know, Nick you could live with me"

"Uhh Larry, no offense but your house barely fits you and besides your current girlfriend hates me, so, how can I live there?"

"Guess, you're right there"

"Well, I am "Wright" after all"

".........."

".........."

...................

"Come on, guys you gotta admit that was a good one!"

"You need better jokes, Nick"

"Yeah, I am with Larry on this one"

"hmph"

"Hey guys, let's go this new place, It apparently serves the best beef stew!!"

"But, Who's payin--"

"Nick, it's obviously gonna be Larry!"

"Why am I paying?!"

"Well, Nick's out of money, I need to save my money for the new novel of The Steel Knight, so, you're the only one who can pay--"

"But I need the money--"

"--besides you can buy some for your girlfriend, make her love you more! after all a way to a girl's heart is through her stomach!"

"Uhh, Maya, isn't it supposed to be the other way around"

"Well, Nick it applies to both guys and girls, I mean if a guy offered me food, I would instantly be in love"

"I guess, that's probably true knowing you"

"Now come on, guys what are you waiting for?!!! Let's go!!!"

Maya grabs both men's hands trying to lead them, with both guys saying 

"W-Wait!!!"

After they finished eating at the new restaurant, Larry was first to leave because he had a date with his girlfriend later that night

That only left Phoenix and Maya, so, Phoenix is now walking Maya to her home 

"Well, that was a great stew! they were right, That restaurant is great!, we should visit more often!"

"Y-yeah, we should"

"Hey, Nick"

 "Yeah, Maya"

"Don't worry, everything will be fine, we will figure it out and get you out of there together, you will just have to be patient"

"M-Maya"

"Oh, looks like I am home now, g---

Suddenly, Phoenix hugged Maya, crying in her shoulder, making her shocked

"N-Nick!"

Maya's shock was replaced with her smiling, hugging him back

They remained there for a short while, til Maya said 

"Hey, Nick pull off of me now! you big baby! I gotta go"

"Ha, *sniff* you're right"

He pulls away from the hug and wiped his tears 

"Well good night, Maya"

"Night, Nick"

She said as she runs and waves at the same time,

Phoenix waves back, and after that he walks to his "home" while he was walking, he feels a gust of wind almost like someone is with him

Phoenix finally reached the mansion he had been dreading going back the entire time he was with his friends, he wasn't able to fully enjoy his time off with them

He opens the door expecting Dahlia to be sleeping by now 

But, unfortunately she wasn't, in fact she was waiting for him, sitting on her big chair with her gothic styled red gown and her pink umbrella 

Phoenix gulps

(Here we go)

"Well,well feenie dear you are so late! I was worried that my idiot worthless servant got himself killed sending his time with a whore and a man slut---

"N-No T-they a-are no---"

"--but unfortunately he didn't" *sigh*

She got up from the golden chair, and walked gracefully to Phoenix, shutting her umbrella

"W-What are yo-

She hit his side hard with her umbrella, making him grab his side, saying with her sweet voice laced with maliciousness  

"What did I say about cutting me off, you piece of shit!!"

"I-I'm so---

She pointed his chin, with the metal that was on top of her umbrella

"I'm not about receive your pathetic sorry "

she moves her umbrella away from him 

"Now, get back to work you piece of shit!! I want the kitchen, the guestrooms,and the living room clean by morning,  if I find a particle of dust in these rooms, I will make your life a living hell, got it bitch"

"Y-yes"

"Also, clean my gowns thoroughly, because someone's important is coming in the morning, got it bitch"

"Y-yes"

Phoenix goes to get the cleaning supplies

Now, time for the other person in this story

The Crown Prince Miles Edgeworth was adopted by King Manfred the 3rd the king adopted him so that he gets more favors from his people, The King trained him to become the future king

Unfortunately the rest of his childhood wasn't that great, since his father's death, he was isolated, never spending time with anyone, well except for his adopted sister Princess Franziska the 4th

Now he is about to become the next King, after King Manfred the 3rd who died from an accidental bullet to his shoulder, hitting his vitals

But there was one thing that bothered The Crown Prince to no end, even more than the horrible ending to The Steel Knight's 3rd novel

After the neighbouring kingdoms found out about King Manfred's death, they wasted no time, trying offer Prince Miles to marry their daughters and sons, as the kingdom was very powerful and uniting their small kingdoms with this kingdom would be beneficial

Their persistence was so bad, Princess Franziska had to whip some of them to get them out of their castle

After those last ones, Princess Franziska has had enough, walking to her brothers study  wearing her dress the color matches her hair and her black high heels, gloves and hat 

In the study Miles Edgeworth sitting in his chair wearing a magenta colored prince uniform looking at a key with his Royal Adviser Dick Gumshoe standing by his side wearing a dark green velvet court dress

"Your highness, I have been meaning to ask what is this key?

"Oh, it's um--not that important"

"Your highne---

Suddenly Princess Franziska opened the door 

"Miles Edgeworth, I had enough of this foolishness!!, we need to do something about these nobles!"

"Yes, Franziska but what can we do?"

"Only, little brother if you are already married, they won't demand you to marry their foolish offspring"

"What do you mean by this, Franziska"

"Me and Scruffy will make a ball for you to choose your spouse"

"W-WHAT?!! b-but"

"Princess, I don't thin---"

Princess Franziska glares at Gumshoe, then whips him

"OW!!"

"You will make it with me, Scruffy"

"But, Princes--"

She whips him again

"OUCH!!!!!!!"

"Shut up, Scruffy"

"But, Franziska I can't just do this, This is foolish!"

*sighs* "We don't have a choice, little brother they wouldn't stop pestering us about this and you know it"

"B-But I can't just mar--

"If it bothers you too much, little brother you can just divorce them after these foolish nobles forget about it"

"B-bu-Fine, but I know this will fail miserably Franziska"

Franziska smirked

"We shall see, little brother" 

The Next Morning

The Royal Messenger goes around the kingdom, giving out the invites to the rich 

The Royal Messenger reached the mansion of Lady Dahlia, he knocked on the door

Phoenix answered the door

"Yes, What is it?"

"I'm the Royal Messenger ---

When Dahlia heard that she pushed Phoenix out of the way, using her umbrella

"Oh, a Royal Messenger here this must be important if you are here"

"Yes, Lady Dahlia I am here to inform you about a ball that Princess Franziska Von Karma the 4th is hosting for The Crown Prince Miles Edgeworth tonight, to find him a spouse, you are invited "

As he says that he hands her an invitation 

"Hm, interesting way to do it"

(M-Miles Edgeworth, I haven't heard that name in years)

She takes the invitation

"Well, Thank you"

(I-I want to see him, again! I want to......)

"Your welcome, Lady Dahlia"

Dahlia closed the door after the messenger leaves

Smiling to herself, She is delighted at the chance of being a queen

"D-Lady Dahlia c-can I go to the ball?"

"N-"

Before, she said "No" it suddenly came to her head a devilish idea 

She smiles 

"Not, unless you finish organizing the lentils after 30 minutes, in the kitchen "

"R-really "

"Yes, if one is out of place or if you didn't finish it in time then you wouldn't go"

"O-okay"

(I mean, it's a pile of lentils how hard can this be?)

After a few minutes, in the kitchen 

(Oh god)

On the table there were 3 piles of lentils that are the size of an ant hill

(THIS WILL BE IMPOSSIBLE!!!)

"Here you go, feenie have fun!"

She giggled and walked away

For 2 minutes he sat there pondering 

"How can I do this in 30 minutes?!"

Then suddenly there was a strong gust of wind all around him, then a blinding flash of light, he closed his eyes

When he opened his eyes, he sees a spirit of a beautiful young woman wearing a long white spaghetti strap dress that accentuates her body

"W-WHO ARE YOU?!"

"Shh, Quiet Phoenix, she might hear you"

"Oh, sorry bu--

"My name is Mia, I'm a spirit and I am here to help you"

"H-Help me?"

"Yes, I made a promise to your friend, Maya, that I will help"

"M-Maya?"

"Yes, I was watching you for sometime now, and I can see that you are a nice man being abused"

"Umm, well, Thank you"

"Well then, it looks like you need help with these lentils"

As she said that she pointed to the lentils on the table

"Y-yeah, but how can you do it?"

"Well, you just wish it, but I can do only 3 wishes, but you do have to be literal with your wording"

"Um, ok I wish that all these lentils are organized"

Mia, used her magic to organize the lentils it only took 10 minutes to finish it

"T-Thank you Mrs Mia!"

"Your welcome, Phoenix, remember you now have 2 wishes left and if you need me, just say my name"

"Okay"

Mia then disappeared in another flash of light making Phoenix close his eyes again

Phoenix opens his eyes, and he saw that she was gone

So, Phoenix goes into Dahlia's room, he knocked on her door

She opened the door

"Hm"

"I finished D-L-Lady Dahlia"

"Well, I need to see that for myself"

They go to the kitchen together, Dahlia inspects the 3 piles of lentils 

She grits her teeth, squeezed her umbrella tight and an angry look on her face

She then grabbed one lentil from one pile and put it on another pile with her umbrella obstructing the view from Phoenix

Then she turned around, smiling

"Oh, feenie, good job"

"Ah-Than-"

"But there is one lentil that is out of place"

"H-Huh?"

"So, I can't let you go to the ball"

"This just one lentil you can't be seriousl---"

"Feenie, I can't overlook this, you failed at your task, don't be such a sore loser about it!"

"B-but--"

 Then her face turned angry , she shut her umbrella and pointed it at his face

"If you know what's good for you and you don't want to be kicked out  , you better shut your mouth, you piece of shit"

"A-ah"

He grits his teeth and looks away

"Good choice, now get back to work you stupid bitch"

And...he does

After dinner, Dahlia gone to the ball wearing the white version of the same red gown with her pink umbrella

And Phoenix alone sitting beside the fireplace, sad and looking at a lock fondly 

(Oh Miles....how can I reach you? I really want to know what happened, Ah!)

Phoenix suddenly got up, holding the lock in a clenched fist

"Mia!"

Suddenly there was a blinding flash of light, Phoenix closed his eyes

When he opened his eyes, there she was standing

"Hmm, Hi Phoenix"

"Hi, Mrs Mia!"

"There is no need to be so formal, Phoenix just call me Mia"

 "Heh, sorry, M-Mia"

"Better, now what did you need from me?"

"I want um to be disguised as a noble and go to the ball"

"Hm, well that's unexpected"

"Why?"

"Well, I thought you would wish to get out of this place or you would wish for a house so you get out of this place"

"Oh, it would be my 3rd wish but for now I want to see him again"

"To see him again?"

"Miles Edgeworth"

"The Crown Prince?!"

"Yeah"

Mia had a curious look

"But, Why?"

"Well, We were friends since we were 9, he and Larry defended me from being accused of theft by the other children in the streets"

"Larry? that man you and Maya are friends with"

"Yeah, that's him alright ever since then me , Larry and Edgeworth were best friends but then one day he just disappeared then I found out that he was adopted by King Manfred the 3rd and he was.....different so different then what he was before, I.. just don't know what happened I want to know and to see him again  "

"I see, you sound like you are rather fond of him"

Phoenix blushes

"I-Well, I fell in love with him, that day when he defended me he...just looked so daring and dashing um...."

Mia looking down and noticed his clenched fist

"Hm, what are you holding there?"

"Hm, oh"

He unclenched his fist revealing a small lock

"This is a lock that I asked my dad to make and he also made a key for Edgeworth...."

Mia than smiles widely 

"That is very cute, Phoenix"

Phoenix blushes even more and stuffed it in his pocket in embarrassment

"I-I umm uhh"

*Giggles* "Ok, I will grant your wish"

"T-Thank you, Mia!"

"No problem, Phoenix, now let's go outside, Where the magic happens"

After this, they go outside

"Now, It's time to turn you into a noble!"

Mia used her magic to transform Phoenix's clothes as his clothes swirling, changing into the most splendid noble outfit with the color royal blue and the color raspberry as the accent color and a cape with the same color of raspberry and his hair is laid back

After she finished she presented him with a mirror

"So, how do you like it?"

"I-it's-I could've never imagined I would look this good in my entire life!"

"That's good, now for your ride"

Mia used her magic once again to make a elegant carriage with horses and a horseman 

Phoenix looks in shock and awe at this magnificent display

Mia's magic swirls around creating spirals, shining a brilliant white light, form each thing with such intricate detail out of thin air, it was quite beautiful

"I-I-I don't think that I deserve all of this, Mia I-I"

"Well, all of this is what you deserve, Phoenix after all the hardships you been though, now go to your prince charming"

"Wait, what about the invites?"

"Don't worry about it!, I'll take care everything, oh I almost forgot!"

"Hm?"

"You have to come back here before the clock strikes 12"

"Why?"

"Well, because the magic will fade, this is a disguise after all and the disguise has to fade at some point"

"Ok?"

"Now go on, have fun"

"T-thank you, Mia"

As he said that, he ran to the elegant carriage and sat on it, and drove away to the castle

The Crown Prince was bored and tired, there is no way else to summarize it

There was a line for anyone who wanted to dance with the prince, so he has been dancing a lot tonight, now he is dancing with an old woman

"Hello handsome~"

"Pardon?"

"You're one of the most handsome men I ever seen"

The prince blushes

"I uh t-thank you"

"You're polite too I swear thisthefirsttimeIencounteredapoliteyoungmanIswearthoseyoungwhipsnapperswon'tknowthemeaningofpolitnesseventheytriedImeantheycallmeoldhagawitch!Iwon'tletthemsoilmynamelikethattheseidiots-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

(Oh god, please make it stop!)

When she finished whatever she was saying she tried to kiss him

He pushed her away

He whispered to the guard next to him

"Please, get her out of here"

And so the guard escorted her out, she struggles

"Thoseyoungwhipsnapperswon'tseparatemefrommyprinceedgeypoo-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------"

(What was that?!)

Then a woman came with a little girl

"Hello, your highness it is nice meet you I am Morgan Fey"

"Um, do you-

"No, your highness I have no intentions to court you, I do however have a offer to make with you "

"A business offer?"

"Y-yes your highness"

"No "

"B-but why?, your highness"

"This is not the intention of the ball, there is a day where I hear people's concerns and offers, this not the day, now get out or I let the guards escort you out"

"B-but hear me out, your highness"

"No, now get out, come back on monday make that business offer of yours"

"F-fine, come on Pearl"

"Yes, mommy"

Morgan walked away with Pearl holding her hand, fuming 

(This is getting foolish!)

Then another woman from the line came 

"Uh, your highness are you alright?"

"Y-yes, are you here to court me?"

"Um, yes"

"Then let's dance "

Then a little while into them dancing, someone showed up in front of them clearly drunk

"Hey, ella w-w-hy d-id u gooooo? I---ove uuuu

(Is that... Larry? Larry Butz? what is he doing here?!)

"Um, Larry what are you doing here?"

"O-b-viously c-ame to g-i-ve my girlishfri-nd a k-iss o-n the lisps"

"Um, Larry it's not the time for that"

"B-ut.. O-h hiss th-at u e-dgy"

"I don't know what you are talking about, Sir"

"N-ah th-at hiss u ed-gyyyy"

"Guards please escort him to a chair "

The guards escorted Larry

"W-hy hiss e-very th-ing sooooooooooo sh-iny "

"Um, your highness"

"Your turn has already ended "

"Oh, I'll come back for you, your highness"

"Don't come back"

"O-oh o-okay fine then"

She left 

"Next"

A woman came, he sighs and he dances with her for little bit

(This has to be one of the worst nights I have endured thus far)

"Oh, your highness you haven't been talking, are you alright?"

"Y-yes, Lady..."

"Dahlia, Dahlia Hawthorne"

As she said that she flattered her eyes

"Yes, Lady Dahlia, I am quiet alright"

"Are sure, your highness?"

She said with a look of fake concern

"Yes, thank you for your concern"

"Are you really sure?, your highness"

(That's it, this woman is obnoxious, my feet are killing me, I need to get out of here, at least for a little while)

"Yes, Lady Dahlia I am quiet sure, now if you excuse me"

And so ,the prince got out of there while Dahlia looked behind him very much angry at him, walked til he reached the castle's garden, he sat on one of the garden's stairs and he grabbed the key from his pocket

"What am I going to to do?  Wright, I am lost"

He whispers to himself

"I can't just marry someone like that, it feels..wrong, so very wrong"

He looks at the moon then look back again at the key fondly

"Heh, I can't help but wonder what do you look like now?, do you still have those endearing, yet logic defying spikes?, or those glowing eyes? did you pursue your ridiculous dreams in becoming a merchant of hair altering substances? I guess I will never know"

He sighs sadly 

Then suddenly he hears footsteps, he looks at who was the source of these footsteps, he saw one of the most good looking he had ever seen he thought

(He's handsome, his beautiful hair, eyes, soft lips and his clothes the royal blue brings out his eyes, though I am not too keen on the raspberry color but the rest of him is breathtaking yet there is also something familiar, something I should recognize)

Miles blushes rapidly

Phoenix blushes

A few minutes earlier

When Phoenix finally arrive at the castle, he was in awe at how beautiful and big the castle was, he didn't realize that he was already in the front gate, there was a guard 

(Well, Mia said she handled it so I shouldn't need to worry about it)

Phoenix walked towards the guard

the guard takes one look at Phoenix

"Welcome my lord, to the Von Karma castle"

"Uhh, thank you"

"Should I escort you to the ballroom? my lord"

"Y-yes, thank you"

Phoenix and the guard were walking the castle halls, Phoenix still in awe looking at the portraits and the general decor of the castle

They reached the ballroom 

"Here you go, my lord"

"Thank you"

Phoenix was walking admiring the decor til he saw Miles for the first time in years dancing with someone

Phoenix blushes

(Is that Miles?! I mean of course, but he just looks so handsome in person, his hair, his eyes, his everything~ Phoenix, calm down there's no need to get so riled up about it l-look at something else)

Phoenix looks around, til he finds Maya at the buffet table

(Maya?! what is she doing here?!)

Phoenix walks to the buffet table next to Maya

"Heya, Maya"

Maya turned around looking very creeped out 

"Hm, who are you? and how do you know my name?"

(Oh, I forgot I look good now)

"It's me, Maya, Phoenix I mean you call me Nick I sti-"

"No way, Nick y-you look like a noble!"

Phoenix smiles and he puts his hand on the back of his neck

"Yeah, I know"

"Mia did wonders didn't she"

"Yeah, but Maya how did you call Mia?

"Well, Let's just say I have the power communicate with spirits"

"Ok, but why her specifically?"

"Well, she offered to help, since we're sisters and all"

"Wait, you two are sisters?!!"

"Yeah, we are"

"I am sorry for your loss"

"Oh, no I am fine, Nick I can communicate with her though it's very limited but I am okay with it"

"Maya"

"Don't worry, Nick I am fine now let's just enjoy the party! oooh that chicken looks good"

Suddenly Larry shows up drunk and crying

"M-aya *sniff* el-a bbbbr-oke aup with maaaaaaaaa *sniff*"

"Poor Larry, why did she do this to you?"

"I-I-I duuno  *sniff* s-he c-ame aaa-nd said "U ruinned e-very thang u idoit" aaand sssshe w-ass g-one-e *sniff* "

(Poor Larry)

"I'm so sorry, Larry"

"S-she w-ass ma lig-ht ma s-tarr *sniff* I-I thank I'm g-onna v-om-it"

"Okay, Larry we gotta go to the bathroom"

Maya turns to Phoenix 

"Sorry, Nick you're on your own now"

Maya puts Larry's arm on her shoulder and walks him to the bathroom

*sighs*(What am I gonna do now?)

Then he sees Miles walking away from the ballroom then he looks back he sees Dahlia looking angry

(What is going on?, I need see if he is alright)

Phoenix follows Miles into the garden, seeing him sit on the stairs, and taking out a key out of his pocket

(H-he still has that?!)

Miles is whispering to himself, Phoenix can't hear it

(What is he saying? I better get closer)

He gets closer, then suddenly the prince looks at him

Miles blushes rapidly 

He blushes rapidly

(His face so handsome in person!!!!!! his grey eyes just lights up my whole world)

"A-ahem, what are you doing here, sir"

"O-oh I w-wanted some fresh air, yeah fresh air"

Phoenix once again puts his hand on the back of his neck, smiling awkwardly

Miles rises one eye brow at that

"Right, um, are you anybody's escort?"

"Hm?"

"I didn't see you in the line"

"Uh No, just a party crasher, heh"

"Oh, I see"

"Uh, um you have good hair"

(Phoenix, What the heck are doing?!!)

"Um, thank you"

Silence 

(Oh, great you just made it awkward, good job, Phoenix, l-let's try something else something that first comes to my mind)

"Um, you know The Steel Knight's 3rd novel had a pretty good ending"

(Oh god, Why did I say that?! he might not even like it, I don't really like it Maya forced me to read it)

Miles glares at Phoenix

(Oh god, he looks angry, retreat Phoenix retreat!!!!)

"No, it isn't, it ended on cliffhanger for god's sake, how is that a good ending?!"

(Huh?)

"H-uh?"

"There is no resolution to the subplots the third novel created!!! it is quarter the first two novels it is just foolish!!"

"Objection!"

And so they argued for an hour about The Steel Knight's 3rd novel,  making Phoenix sit next to Miles, the whole time they have been getting closer to each other, talking having a good time, til Gumshoe interrupted them, they turned their head when he came

"Your highness, you have gotta go back there, everyone is getting impatient"

*sighs* "Yes, Gumshoe you're right"

Miles turns his head

"You are going to be in the line, t-to continue our conversation o-of course"

Phoenix smiles 

"Yeah, sure your highness"

(I should really thank Maya, for forcing me to read the novel)

Miles smiles for a second before he got up and goes with Gumshoe

Phoenix was swooning under Miles's smile

(Oh god, his smile is so gorgeous~)

Then, he snapped out of it, got up and ran to the ballroom

Phoenix reached the ballroom and saw the line it was so long it was intimidating to say the least

(There is a lot of people, I feel so nervous right now)

There is someone who touched his shoulder

Phoenix turned around and saw Maya

"Heya, Nick where were you? I was looking all over for you to help me get Larry home, good thing there was a guard in the castle that helped"

"Sorry, Maya I was with Miles"

Phoenix then explained to her about what happened in the garden

"Ah!, a man with a good taste, he's right you know that ending is trash"

"Well, it was pretty good to me"

"Well, whatever anyway why don't you go to the line?"

"Well, there are a lot of people in the line I guess I am scared he might find someone better than me in that line"

"Nick, he clearly likes you, I mean he barely talked with the others in that line,and from what you told me he enjoys talking to you"

"Really?, he barely talked with them?"

"Yeah, he just humiliates them, but most of the time he just gets his guards to get them out, I mean look"

Maya pointed at a guy who is being dragged out by the guards

"But my prince I want show you what true magic is like!!!"

"What the heck happened?!"

"I don't know, probably sexually harassed him"

"Wait...WHAT?!"

"Yeah, a lot of people do that for some reason, weird, Come on, Nick, you wished all of this time to see him and talk to him, and now you're chickening out, Come on, Nick  "

Maya pushed him as she said that

"B-but I-"

As he said that, a guard shows up

"My lord, The Crown Prince sent me to ask you, Why are you not in the line?"

 "I-ye-I- I'm c-coming, I'm coming! I am just talking to my friend"

"Good, I'll inform his highness"

The guard leaves after that

"See Nick , well I better get going Nick, aunt Morgan will be mad if I didn't get back"

"Oh, Maya I forgot to ask you"

"Hm?"

"Why are you here?"

"Aunt Morgan wanted the prince to invest in her business thing, he refused so,she and Pearl went back home, I just stayed for the food"

"Oh, I see"

"Now, I gotta go Nick it's getting late, good luck Nick!" 

"Thanks, Maya"

They hugged goodbye and when they finished, Maya ran off 

*deep breath* (ok, Phoenix you will be fine, just don't screw it up)

So, Phoenix got to the line, he waited for a pretty long time, but finally it was his turn

"Hello, Your highness"

Miles blushes

"Uh, yes, hello, let's continue where we left off, shall we?"

"Yeah, let's"

Phoenix and Miles were dancing for longer periods, of course Miles was dancing with the others, but the line gets shorter as the people began to realize that they didn't have a chance, until there was no line

As they were dancing, Miles asks

"What is your name?"

"Um, it's not that important, this is more important"

Phoenix emphasize this by kissing him in the cheek

Miles blushes a brilliant shade of pink

As they finished dancing, the pair decided to go to the garden, they reached the balcony that views the garden outside

 Miles begins to realize something

(His face h-he looks like a grown up version of W-Wright, but how could this be?, there is this feeling in my chest, that says that man is him but this is impossible!, but maybe it could be him, he didn't say his name yet, I have to confirm it)

Miles takes out the key from his pocket, and took Phoenix's hand in his hand that has the key

Phoenix looks at their entwined hands 

"I-"

Before Miles says anything, the bell ring Phoenix looks at the clock, the clock strikes 12

(Oh, shit, I better go!)

Phoenix then runs, accidentally taking the key with him in his clenched fist

Miles was so shocked, also realizing the key is gone, he runs after Phoenix

As Miles chases Phoenix, he called out near by guards to catch Phoenix

Fortunately for Phoenix he reached the gate

Unfortunately for Phoenix the lock fell from his wide pocket while he was running though the stairs leading outside, but he didn't realize it he just continued running, the key still in his clenched fist, he runs back to his carriage

By the time Miles reached the gate's stairs, Phoenix was gone, but as he was going though the stairs he saw a lock that looks so similar to his key, then it clicked 

(That man is Phoenix Wright!!, so that feeling was right!!)

He then picked up the lock and went back inside the castle

As Phoenix sat inside the not really fading carriage, he sighs out of relief , he then unclenched his fist , he looked shocked as he saw the key in his hand

(What is that key doing here?!, I can't return this, Oh god)

He then checked his pockets

(T-THE LOCK IS GONE!!!)

Then the carriage disappears, along with his noble outfit turning back to his regular clothes, he fell, he clenches his fist to protect the key

"OUCH!!"

(Well, that hurt)

He got up and unclenched his fist

(At least the key is okay, better go back to the mansion before Dahlia)

He put the key in his pocket and he ran back to the mansion and reached it before Dahlia going back to his "room" back to the hellish life with Dahlia Hawthorne

The Next Morning 

The Crown Prince was sitting in his chair in his study, looking at the lock, waiting for Gumshoe and Princess Franziska while waiting for them he thinks about the situation last night

(So, that man was Phoenix Wright, I can't believe it, there's so many questions that arise from this,

What happened to him?

Why was he trying to be unknown?

Why was he so scared when he looked at the clock?

Why did he run away from me?

Why was the lock there on the stairs?

Why was he here in the ball?

Why was there no mention of his name in the invitation list?

If there was no mention of his name in the invitation list, How did he get in the ball in the first place?

Just....so many questions, the only logical conclusion I could come to is that he disguised himself, but Why would he do this?! and How did he do it?!,  god I am having a headache just thinking about this)

Just then Princess Franziska and Gumshoe came 

"Little brother, What has happened?! Why were you chasing that man last night?!"

"Yes, your highness, what the princess said"

"Yes, I'll explain it, I was with a man, you probably seen us dancing almost all night"

They both nod

"Yes, we saw you dancing with that man"

"We decided to go to the garden's balcony then I realized something about that man"

"What is that? your highness"

"He looks like a grown up version of my childhood friend and he is"

"Childhood friend?"

"Yes, a long time ago, I was friends with two boys, Then... my father died after that I never saw them again..until last night, I saw one when what it appears to be his lover trying to an affair with me"

"Poor, Pal"

"Yes, the other one....was the one I danced with"

"And, How do you know that?, Miles Edgeworth"

*sighs*"He made a lock and a key, he gave me the key, and told me when we meet again we would unlock the lock, it was.......sweet"

"Aww, That's adorable, your highness"

"Sickeningly so, but how is it relevant?"

"The relevance here is that when he was gone, I was going through the stairs then I saw the lock on one of the stairs"

"It could be any lock in the world, how do you know this the one?"

"Franziska, you know nobles usually don't hold locks, especially a lock this unique looking"

Then he grabbed the lock that was on the desk and showed them

They looked shocked upon seeing it

"Hey! that weird keyhole pattern is the same as that key that you were always holding!"

"Yes, it was made so that the key that I had would be the only one that would open this lock"

"The key that you had? What you mean by this, Little brother?

*sighs* " He accidentally took the key"

"He WHAT?"

"Yes, it is my fault I had the key in my hand I grabbed his hand and entwined it with the hand that had the key, when he ran he must have took the key from my hand by accident"

"Miles Edgeworth, This the most foolish thing you have done, are you trying to soil the von karma royal name with this foolishness?!!!"

"Yes, I know it was foolish of me to do, but I was..blinded by unnecessary....feelings"

"..........."

Then she whips him

"AHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

"WHAT IS THIS FOOLISH FOOLISHNESS YOU FOOLISH FOOL WITH YOUR FOOLISH FEELINGS THIS FOOLISH-------"

"A-Princess calm dAHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!"

She whips him

"Shut up, Scruffy, I should've been the ruler instead of you, you clearly don't fit!, if you let your foolish feelings control you like that!"

"Franziska--

He got up

"Miles Edgeworth, you're becoming soft! Papa should've---"

He came to her

"Franziska, listen I know what I did was foolish, but I had to see...if it was him, I wanted to see him for so long and you know it"

Princess Franziska seeing his eyes never seeing that look on him contrary to popular belief she cares immensely about her brother since he protected her so many times from her father's harsh punishments and sees him as a dependable brother but she won't tell you that, feeling overwhelmed under his stare she surrenders

"F-fine, Little brother I suppose it is my duty to serve the future king whether he is fool or not"

"Thank you, Franziska"

Gumshoe tears up a bit from seeing the siblings exchange

"I never thought I would see yo--AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!"

She whips him in middle of him saying the sentence 

"I-it's n-not like that, Scruffy! It is my duty to the kingdom and that is it"

She crosses her arms

"F-fine, whatever you say Princess, just don't hurt me!!"

"Maybe if you stop being a fool, anyway what are we supposed to do now, Little brother? how are we supposed to find him?"

"Well, since he has the key and he probably disguised himself, we will search all of the kingdom for a man with the key to this lock"

"Fine then"

"Alright!, your highness! we will find the key to your heart!"

Miles blushes

"G-Gumshoe!"

Princess Franziska smirks 

After 3 days 

Phoenix never got the chance to call Mia, he wanted to get out of here before the prince and his court arrive here

But Dahlia always interrupts him with constant orders, always checking on him to the point where he is paranoid that she might come out even when he is free, and even if she sleeps in the end he is just so worked to the bone, he just faints on the floor

His only comfort though out this was holding the key to his heart remembering the night while he was doing the tasks, rinse and repeat for 3 days

Today however will be even worse for him, since the prince and his court will be coming here to search for a man with key to the lock, Dahlia still thinks she has a chance with the prince, so she is working Phoenix to the bone to clean the living room and her sitting on her golden chair

*Huff puff*" I-*huff puff* finished Lady Dahlia"

"Hmph"

She points at one small spot on the floor

"Not yet there is still one spot you missed "

"W-*huff puff* where is *huff puff* it?"

"Don't you have eyes, you fucking piece of shit!, use them"

Phoenix goes to the spot she pointed at and cleans it

She facepalms

"No, you idiot"

She gets up from her chair and goes towards him

He shields himself in case she beats him

And she beats him in the leg using her umbrella

She pointed again at a different spot that is fairly clean

"Here, you idiot!!"

And he cleans it despite his leg hurting bad

"Ugh, do I have to do everything by myself"

As she says that she flips her hair

"Now make dinner, I'm not gonna starve all day you know"

"Y-yes"

And he goes to the kitchen....

Phoenix finished with dinner, setting the table and now he about to take the bowl soup to the table, when Dahlia showed up, when he saw her, he jumped a little

"What is it feenie?"

"N-n-nothing, l-l-Lady Dahlia"

"Whatever continue, I just came to get something"

"O-okay"

He took the soup and gone to the dinner table

She then goes to his soup bowl, she opened her bottle necklace and poured it's contents on to the soup

She then closed the bottle and quickly moves away 

Phoenix comes back and takes his soup bowl

"Oh, feenie I forgot to tell you, you have to eat in the basement"

"W-Wh-"

"Well, because I don't want you to mess up my fireplace with your filth, now go please"

"Oh-okay"

He then goes to the basement 

Phoenix then sits on the floor in the basement, putting his soup on the floor he smiles

(Yes!, I have the chance to call Mia, though I am hungry I haven't eaten all day maybe I'll eat this soup then I'll call Mia as fast as I could)

He takes the spoon, and takes the first slurp of the soup, swallowed it

Then suddenly he felt a sharp pain in his stomach, the spoon falls down with a clink as he wraps his arms around his stomach, he then lays down on the floor

Just then Dahlia shows up

She giggles

He looks up to her

"A-Ah"

"Oh, feenie dear are you okay"

She says it in a mocking tone

"A-A-h"

"Oh, feenie you didn't think I won't know about that little unique key you were holding, I was wondering where is that lock you were always holding then I saw it, when we were at the market yesterday I saw it with the prince I saw that weird keyhole it has the same pattern as that key you are holding, then I realized it, you were that bitch ass noble that stole my ticket to becoming the queen of this kingdom"

She then shuts her umbrella, and beat him hard in the back it was painful on top of the poison

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!"

She says in great anger

"You are nothing you piece of shit! you are nothing but a bug to be squashed on, you are a tissue to be disposed of when it's useless!"

She beats him again but harder

"AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!"

*Huff puff**huff puff* "Well, I didn't want to do this dear feenie, but I won't let you ruin this for me"

"Ah-A"

"Don't worry feenie, I'll make sure nobody will miss you"

Phoenix just groans in pain

"Farewell, Phoenix Wright"

She opens her umbrella, then goes and locks the door behind her

(I can never imagine she would do this! I knew she was cruel but not like this!! I need a cure, I need to call Mia)

"M-M-MIA!!"

In a brilliant flash of light that made him close his eyes, Mia appears, seeing him in pain she shouts

"PHOENIX!"

He opens his eyes and he sees Mia going to sit beside him, she put her hand on his back as reflex, he can't feel it

"What do you need, Phoenix?

"I-I-I wi-sh to be cu-red"

Mia then uses her magic to cure Phoenix of the poison

The pain fades, after a few seconds the pain fades completely

"Thanks, Mia"

Mia smiles

"Your welcome always, Phoenix"

Phoenix gets up and tries to open the door

"T-The door's locked!, Mia can you open the door?"

"No, I can't, Phoenix"

"What am I gonna do?! am I gonna be stuck here?!"

"Don't worry, Phoenix you are not going to be stuck here, I have an idea, just wait here"

"O-okay"

Mia disappears

Mia appears at the kitchen at the house Maya staying in, with Morgan and Pearl gone to the market the only one here is Maya who is standing eating beef stew, she noticed the light, she turns around and saw Mia

"Mia!, What are doing here?"

"Maya we need your help"

"What do you need Mia?"

"Dahlia poisoned Phoenix"

"She WHAT?"

"Yes, she poisoned him but I cured him but now he is stuck in basement it seems that she locked the door, can you go and help him?"

"Yeah, I'll obviously help him!, I'll get Larry he probably knows where the mansion is"

"Alright, but hurry this might be the only chance he will get"

"What do you mean?"

"I will tell you later, let's just hurry!"

"Okay Mia!"

Maya puts the beef stew on the kitchen's table and runs to Larry's house with Mia flying beside her

Maya arrives at Larry's house, she opened the door, it was unlocked, they look around  

"Is that his house?, it looks more like a bar with a bedroom than a house"

"Yeah" *sighs* "It is"

"Poor, Harry"

Maya laughs

"What is it, Maya?"

"Nothing, sis"

Maya then goes to Larry's bed to wake him up

She shakes him

"Hey, Wake up!!"

Then when that failed, She shakes him violently

"Wah...5 more minutes, mom!"

"Come on!"

She shakes him more violently, Larry then fell down from the bed, he opens his eyes then sits, and he puts his hand in the back of his head

"Ah!, M-Maya, what are doing here?"

"Come on, Larry Nick's in trouble!"

He gets up as soon as he heard

"Nick's in trouble?! what happened?!"

"There's no time I'll explain later!, do you where Dahlia's mansion is?"

"Yeah"

"Then let's go, Nick needs us now"

"Ok ok"

Larry wears his shoes as fast as possible with Maya rushing him and they both go to Dahlia's mansion with Mia, While they are on the way Maya tells him about what she knows about the situation

Larry and Maya arrived at Dahlia's mansion at same time as The Prince and his court arrive

They hide in a nearby tree

"Hey, Maya"

"Yeah, sis"

Maya whispers

"I am going to see what's happening and inform you about it through telepathy"

"Ok, sis good luck!"

"Thank you"

Mia then goes to follow the prince and his court into the mansion

"Hey Maya, did you say something?"

"Ah, it's nothing I was ah.......t-thinking, yes thinking"

Larry raised an eyebrow at that

"Okay? anyway, what should we do now, Maya? they're gone in"

"Well, Larry do you know where the basement is?

"Not really"

"I thought you said you knew the mansion from top to bottom when you were dating Valerie!!"

"Well, Nick said she relocated the basement somewhere else"

"Are you kidding me right now?!" *sighs* "Ok, let's just figure it out when we get inside"

"Ok"

They go to the kitchen's window Maya tries to open the window

*groans* " I can't open this window!"

"Step aside Maya, let me open it"

Maya stepped away, Larry then takes out a small nail out of his pocket and picks the lock of the window with it, and it opened

"Wow, Larry you can pick a lock!"

"Sure I can! I'm good at a lot of things at least that's what ella said"

"Larry, you're still good at a lot of things!"

Larry smiles

"Thanks, Maya now come on let's go and save Nick"

Maya smiles, and clenches her fist and raises it

"Ok!"

They both enter the kitchen through the window

The Prince and his court (who were just Franziska and Gumshoe and just 4 guards) and beside them was Mia were welcomed by Dahlia

Dahlia curtsies

"Why, hello there  welcome to my humble abode, your royal highnesses I am Dahlia Hawthorne The owner of the Hawthorne estate"

Dahlia winks at the prince

Mia looks at the prince and sees an annoyed expression on his face

(Hm, his highness looks annoyed at Dahlia)

Mia smirks

(This should be interesting, seeing her try to seduce him)

Gumshoe looks like he is trying to keep his composure, Franziska just put her hand over her mouth pretending to cough and after she finished she said

"Thank you, Lady Dahlia"

"Y-yes, thank you, Lady Dahlia"

"Oh, your highness you can call me Dahlia"

"Uh su-sure La-D-Dahlia"

Mia laughs

(This should be very interesting)

"Come on in, your royal highnesses"

"Thank you, Lady Dahlia"

"Yes, thank you"

They came in and sat down on the elegant golden chairs the guards just stand beside them

"Oh, my prince you look more handsome each time I see you~"

Dahlia winked again

Miles blushes

"I-uh t-thank you"

"Oh, you look so cute when you are flustered my prince~"

Miles blushes even more

"I-uhh ummmm"

Mia giggles

(Oh my, I can feel the awkward tension from here)

Franziska crosses her arms

"Ahem, Lady Dahlia I think that's enough flirting with the crown prince"

"Yeah, you're making him too embarrassed, pal"

"Oh, I'm sorry I didn't mean to I was commenting on how handsome his highness is"

"How come you don't have servants in your mansion?"

"Oh, I just like to do things by myself"

Dahlia winked and walked away

"Hey, Larry let's get out of here fast"

Maya grabbed Larry's hand and ran out of there and they hide behind the staircase that was nearest to the kitchen just before Dahlia comes

Larry and Maya see Dahlia walking into the kitchen, Maya sighs out of relief

"Phew!"

"Maya ya saved our asses there!"

"Yeah, I did didn't I"

"But Maya how did you know she will come?"

"A-Ah I-I j-just had a feeling about it you know how my feelings are right a lot of the time"

Maya laughs nervously  

"I guess? anyway, did you close the window?"

Maya gasps

(Oh No! the window!)

But then they heard Dahlia saying

"Oh fuck! the shithead forgot to close the god damn window, how many times did I tell him to close it? ugh god damn bitch"

"Geez she curses a lot for a lady, huh Larry, Larry?"

Maya turns around seeing Larry looking at a separate staircase that is across from them hidden behind the staircase, there's light shining from the inside

"What's wrong, Larry?"

"T-that staircase I never saw it in this mansion before"

"Wait, are you sure, Larry?!"

"Yeah, me and Val always go here to kiss, so I am pretty sure I never saw it here"

"Well, you did say that Nick said she relocated the basement so could it be?!"

"Yeah, it could be"

"Well, we got nothing to lose so let's check it out, Larry!"

"Yeah Let's go, Maya"

They go inside the staircase

They reached the inside as they walked through the empty halls that were lit by candles on the wall, they began to feel that creepy vibe that this place has  

"I am beginning to be creeped out, Larry"

"Yeah, me too it feels like someone was murdered here"

As they were walking, Maya spotted a door

"Hey, look! a door!"

Maya pointed at the door

"Yeah, maybe this could be it!"

Larry then goes and tries to open the door it didn't work

"Well, it was worth a try"

Maya got near to the door

"Hey, Nick are you there?

Phoenix was sitting down on floor looking down hopeless, when he heard Maya he got up

"M-Maya i-is that you?!"

(So that's where Mia was!)

"Nick!"

Maya and Larry say at the same time

"L-Larry Maya! you two are here?!"

"Yeah, Nick we are here to help you get out of here, Larry can you pick the lock"

"Y-yeah"

Larry takes out a new small nail and picks the lock, and it opened

Phoenix just looks flabbergasted 

"L-Larry Maya!!"

"Nick!!"

They both said at the same time again 

Phoenix ran to them giving them a group hug 

"Guys! I am so glad to see you two, even you Larry"

"Aw shucks, Nick!"

"I am glad to see you too, Nick"

He lets go of both of them, then Phoenix remembered 

"Hey guys is Miles and his court here?"

"Yeah, Edgey's here, Nick why?"

"I need to give him this key!"

Phoenix then takes out the key out of this pocket

Then Larry realized

"So, you were the guy that, Edgey's been looking for!!!"

"Yeah, I need to give that key back I did promise him after all"

Maya smiles and rolls her sleeves 

"Ok then what are we waiting for?! Let's go!"

They go out to the living room

The Prince and his court were sitting enjoying the tea that was prepared by Dahlia

"Lady Dahlia, thank you for the wonderful tea"

"Yes, thank you"

"Oh, you shouldn't-"

"How can drink this?! it's salty"

Dahlia was annoyed hearing that comment, but she tried hide it with a fake smile

"Oh is that so I'm-"

Franziska whips him

"Scruffy, have some manners! even if it is salty you shouldn't say something like that to a lady!"

Dahlia was angry at them but again  she tried to hide it

"Ahem, I am sorry about his comment, Lady Dahlia he should not have said that"

"Oh, no don't worry about it, your highness"

"Thank you, anyway you must know why we are here, Lady Dahlia so I am not going explain, so do you know or have a man that has a key with a pattern like this lock's keyhole?"

Then a guard who had the lock in a small pillow gives it to Franziska to show it to Dahlia

"Oh No, I don-"

Suddenly Phoenix, Maya and Larry show up in the living room 

Dahlia was shocked beyond belief and everyone was shocked but mostly Miles and Dahlia everyone that was sitting now stood

Gumshoe saw Miles's reaction it was like he knew them and asked him

"Your highness, do you know them?!"

Phoenix goes up to them and shows them the key saying

"Your highness, I have the key!"

Franziska looked at the key than the lock

"T-This!-"

"Ph-Phoenix!"

Phoenix turns to Miles and smiles at him

"NO!"

Everyone heard a loud shout and they all look at the one who is causing it 

"IT CAN'T BE! YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED, I POISONED YOU ! I SAW YOU IN PAI---"

Everyone (except Phoenix, Maya and Larry) were shocked

Dahlia hesitated

"I-I d-di-"

Miles pointed at her angrily 

"Guards, arrest her!"

"N-n-NO! y-you d-don't have evidence for it" *Huff puff* *huff puff*

Mia goes to Phoenix and whispers to him

"You know what to do, Phoenix"

Phoenix smiles and nods at Mia, turns to Dahlia

"You can find poison on her necklace"

Everyone turned to Phoenix

Franziska squeezes her whip 

"And how do you know that?"

"Well, I was taking her dinner to the dining table when she came in number 1 her gown doesn't have pockets, number 2 by the time I returned to take my dinner I would've seen her with a bottle and even if she put it on the table I would've noticed it, and her necklace looks like a bottle, so it could only be her necklace"

Dahlia grits her teeth

"After that she told me to eat in the basement after I ate the soup she came and locked the basement, you ask these two they are the ones who saved me after all"

Maya smiled

"Nick"

"So Dahlia you can't hide anymore you enslaved me, abused me and tried to kill me!"

"n-n-n-n-n-n-n-no NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

Then suddenly when the guards apprehend her, she starts laughing maniacally

"AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA, Like I said you are nothing, Phoenix Wright NOTHING!!!"

"I may have believed you at one point but now I don't"

Phoenix looks at Larry and Maya

"Because these people saved me so I must matter to them"

Maya and Larry smile

"Oh Nick"

Dahlia grits her teeth

Maya smiles

Mia then kissed Maya's cheek, Maya didn't feel it but appreciated it nonetheless

"Now, I have to go, Maya"

"Ok, goodbye sis til next year"

Mia smiles and then disappears

Maya frowns a bit but smiles again when she sees Miles walking to Phoenix 

"Ph-Phoenix"

Phoenix turns to him

"Miles"

Phoenix was about to hug him, but Miles pushed him

"No, get a bath first"

Phoenix put his hand in the back of his neck

"Yeah I should, shouldn't I"

Miles nods

"Hey before that, let me tell you something"

"Hm"

"I love you"

Miles blushes so hard he almost looks like tomato 

"I-uh-I l-lo-"

"You don't have to say it, Miles I know"

They smiled at each other and unlocked the lock and each others hearts

hey guys 

how is it going?

Sorry people for not posting especially a fic that I wanted to do eg: A vampire and phoenix but I don’t know what to do man

I Honestly feel so bad, I don’t know how to continue with my life 

I don’t know if this is the ao3 author curse but I have been through things

I know there are people who have gone through worse but this debilitating 

Where do I even start?

Well I have gone to medical school, gotten a heel spur ( a growing bone spike in my heel) so that’s causing me bad inflammation and intense pain every time I woke up , gout 

My younger brother passed away in a house fire a couple of months ago, while I was outside of the country with my mom yesterday was his supposed to be his 18th birthday 

And I feel like I have some type of cognitive impairment going on and I feel hopeless and depressed I don’t know what to do 

My exam is tomorrow and I don’t know what to do 

So yeah, I feel like I couldn’t post these past few years because of this, especially now

So yeah sorry 

If you have any advice on how to improve and get out of that brain fog and burnout I would appreciate it 

If you can’t that’s okay, I appreciate you being here and reading this
