    Raven watched him from the corner of her eyes. She studied the strong line of his jaw instead of the section on nonverbal spells in her DADA textbook. She admired the muscles in his forearms and the concentration in his dark emerald eyes.

    “His eyes are so nice to look at,” she recalled Jinx saying in the sanctuary of the girls’ bathroom. “They’re dark but extremely vivid. He’s so fit, too. It’s most likely from all the Quidditch.”

    Raven blinked and turned her gaze back to her textbook. She came here to study and that’s what she was going to do. Entertaining her small crush was not going to benefit her in any way.
