Comic Zone Precure!

Summary:

This is a Precure fanseries I made themed around comics! In addition to standard episodes, there will also be little mini episodes with the cures reviewing comics!

Chapter 1: I Shall Protect These Books! Cure Immortal Is Found!

Chapter Text

We open on a castle being attacked by some evil force (like nearly every other Precure series). “Go Ross! Go and find the Precure!” Someone who appears to be the ruler of the kingdom gives four small book looking devices to a small creature, who rushes through a portal to the human realm.

I Shall Protect These Books! Cure Immortal Is Found!

“Nerd!!” A student said to a kid, Scott Jackson, who was just reading a comic, specifically Empyre #1 by Dan Slott and Al Ewing. “Oh yeah? Then what are you? Somebody who picks on people purely because of what they choose to read?” Scott snapped back. “I…” The bully would’ve said something had it not been for the final bell of the day ringing and Scott booking (heh) it out of the school and getting on his bike and riding to the Comic Logic store, his afterschool hangout spot.

“Hey Scott!” The shop owner, Ross Richards said. “Hey Ross, what’s new today?” Scott asked. “I’ve got plenty, like the new issue of Immortal Hulk! I saved a copy just for you!” He said, grabbing an issue off a rack behind the counter and giving it to Scott. Scott looked around, seeing the regulars at the shop, and some new people as well. “Wow! I’ve never seen the shop this full! I wonder what happened to get all these people interested in comics!” Scott said. “Hey, you never know, maybe some people from your school caught your infectious love of comics and decided to check them out!” John said.

Just then, a roar and footsteps of some kind of monster could be heard. Scott went to see what it was. “Muhahaha! Go! Hikisaku! Gather all the toxicity inside these mortals!” A person commanding the monster said. “You know, that’s a very Japanese name for a monster in America.” Scott snarked. “Well I don’t care! I’m still going to crush you and your pitiful shop!” The controller snapped back, the monster just about to attack Scott when a small fairy looking creature came out of the store. “Don’t you dare kill my most loyal patron!” The creature said, sounding similar to Ross but with a higher pitch to his voice. “Now! Take this!” The creature handed Scott one of the book looking things, called Cure Manuscripts. “O-Okay!” Scott grabbed the Cure Manuscript. “Now say Precure Write My Story!” The creature instructed. “Alright!” Scott gripped the device and shouted. “Precure! Write My Story!” Suddenly, a beam of light came down from the sky and enveloped Scott, changing his hair to a jade green, giving him an outfit that’s a green undersuit type deal, a green vest with purple accents, and purple shorts and giving him big green fists that go over his normal hands. “The Thundering Jade Titan! Cure Immortal!” Scott rushed at the Hikisaku and punched it, sending it flying. “Huh! Guess I don’t know my own strength!” Scott quipped. He rushed over to the monster and punched it again, creating a small crater. “Now! Finish it with your Finisher!” The fairy said. “Okay!” Scott said, drawing a star in the Cure Manuscript. “Precure! Gamma Crush!” Scott did a massive clap, disintegrating the monster by pure force. “I’ll get you Precure next time, in the name of the Diamond Empyre!” The person controlling the monster teleported away, leaving only the fresh scent of pine.

Scott powered down. “Woah, what was that?” He asked. The fairy went up to him. “Well, to start, I’m Ross, from the Kirby Kingdom! I was sent here to help find the Precure, magical warriors that are supposed to protect the human realm and my kingdom from threats, like the Diamond Empyre that guy mentioned! I started the shop to try and scout for the Precure, and you’re the first one!” Ross said. “Oh my god, my closest friend has been a squirrel looking fairy this whole time…” Scott said, trying to process all the exposition that was dumped on him. “Well, I guess we should start looking for the others!” He said. “Whoa, slow down! Maybe we should start tomorrow.” Ross said, turning back into his human form and walked back into the shop. “Yeah, you’re probably right…” Scott said, following Ross into the shop.
