Work Text:
Giorno's been the boss for a few years now. He's grown up and Mista's noticed how tall he's gotten, different from the kid Bruno had picked up and introduced them to that day in the resturaunt. He's more mature, he's got an air about him that demands that you listen to what he has to say but he's still just as charming. And Giorno's noticed Mista as well. How calloused his hands have gotten from firing his gun so much, how much he'd like it if Mista would hold him with those hands. They both trust each other immensely. Whatever Giorno wants, Mista will see to it that it happens. They're at Mista's old apartment, watching bad movies and enjoying each others company and an empty pizza box in the kitchen. The Pistols had demanded they have some too, and Mista always had a hard time saying no to them. Another thing Giorno notices is the way Mista laughs or looks at Giorno throughout the night that makes Giorno just want to kiss him and tell him how much he wishes he had done it sooner. But it's Mista who takes giorno's hand in his and giorno's heart skips a beat. It feels nice. It feels safe, something he hasn't really felt in who knows how long. He doesn't know if he truly knows what feeling safe feels like but he can guess it's in Mista's arms. He desperately wants to just take the leap and kiss the man he's been crushing on for years. But Giorno can ask Mista out another day, right now he wants to feel normal. Neither of them got to have normal teen years from being so wrapped up in criminal work. But now he can actually be a teenager. Eat pizza and watch bad movies, like a normal teenager. Hang out with his long time crush like a normal teenager. Talk about their friends, like a normal teenager. And Giorno couldn't ask for anything else.
