The funny thing about becoming close to the entirety of Class 1-A, Kyouka ended up taking note of small nuances of some of her classmates. Like how a hungry Hagakure usually drinks orange juice when there isn’t anything immediately available, or how a sleepy Yaoyorozu usually seeks her out first thing in the morning.
Kyouka paused in pouring a bowl of chips as that thought crossed her mind. A small lovestruck smile spread across her face.
My girlfriend is adorable in the morning.
“Hey Jirou,” Shouji said, passing behind her to grab a drink from the fridge, “Ashido is starting a questions game. You want to join?”
She rolled up the bag of chips and clipped it shut before turning to Shouji. “Yeah sure I guess. Is everyone going to join?”
“Maybe. Bakugou is already asleep, so I don’t think he’ll be coming down.”
The two of them moved to the couches in the common room, where everyone else was gathering to join the game. Kyouka popped a chip in her mouth, unconsciously searching for Yaoyorozu amongst the group. Her heart fluttered when she found her girlfriend sipping a cup of tea, sitting alone on one of the couches. With a quick wave to Shouji, Kyouka moved to where Yaoyorozu was sitting, smiling when she was spotted.
“Ah, Kyouka. You’re going to participate in the game that Mina has decided to set up?” she asked, gently placing the cup down on its saucer on the table.
Kyouka swallowed the chip that she had in her mouth before responding. “Yep. Why not? Learn some new things about our crazy friends.” She grinned and lightly nudged Yaoyorozu’s shoulder. “Who knows, maybe I’ll learn a secret hidden side about you that I don’t know about.”
A light blush colored Yaoyorozu’s cheeks as she giggled, and Kyouka couldn’t help but think that the crinkles that always formed on the corner of her eyes when she was happy were adorable.
“Perhaps, but I am more interested in what I might learn about you.” Yaoyorozu said, her eyes sparkling and mouth curling into a shy smile.
Internally, Kyouka melted at just how pure Yaoyorozu was, and couldn’t help but smile back just as Ashido started the game.
“Okay okay. Rules are simple. We go around in a circle and pull a piece of paper out of the bowl and answer it as clearly as possible. No inappropriate questions are allowed, and no backing out of a question if it asks you to do something specific.” She grabbed the bowl and placed it in the middle of the table, swirling the scraps of paper around as she continued. “I had Class Dad screen all of them already, so they should be okay.”
Once she finished shuffling the questions around, the game started on the other end of the circle that they had formed, effectively making Kyouka one of the last people to read a question before it reset.
She leaned into Yaoyorozu’s shoulder as she placed the half eaten bowl of chips between them, listening to Sero as he explained the several mishaps he had gotten into for trying to reenact Spiderman as a kid.
“And then I got stuck in a tree when someone dared me to do a web-shooter with tape, so the school ended up having to call the fire department to get me down.”
Kaminari let out a low whistle as Sero finished, idly holding onto several charging cables as he charged the Bakusquad’s phones. “Bro that’s wild. The only crazy thing I did was trying to be like Pikachu and use Thunderbolt.”
Shinsou grinned from where he stood behind the couches.”Hey, at least you can actually pull it off now. At the beginning of the year you’d always shock yourself stupid.”
Kyouka busted out laughing as Kaminari pouted, whining about leaving things in the past. “Way to kill my happy mood ‘Sou.”
The game continued, exposing some funny, or random unknown facts about someone.
“Wait wait, hold on.” Uraraka said, leaning forward to rest her elbows on her knees as she looked at Iida in disbelief. “You dressed up as any fictional character that had speed as their main power for Halloween?”
The class president’s face held one of deep shame and embarrassment. “Yes. Now can we move on?”
Kaminari laughed and slapped at his leg. “Does that mean you dressed up as Sonic the Hedgehog as a kid?”
Iida sighed and took his glasses off, rubbing the bridge of his nose. “If it makes you satisfied, yes. I did dress up as Sonic. Now can we please move on?” His ears were steaming.
Kirishima grabbed a question out of the bowl, blushing slightly at the subject of the question. He looked at Ashido with one of the most pleading puppy eyes Kyouka has ever seen.
“Minaaaa! Do I have to answer this? It’s so embarrassing!”
Ashido just shrugged her shoulders and leaned back into the couch she was sitting on. “I mean Iida already spilled his embarrassing secret. It wouldn’t be fair for you to just flake out on it.”
Kirishima held the puppy eyed look until he realized that he had no choice. With a sigh, he read the question out loud to everyone.
“What is your favorite trait of your favorite person and why?”
That got everyone’s attention. To everyone but Kirishima’s favorite person, the affections that Kirishima had for him were almost painfully obvious, but no one really knew how much Kirishima liked that certain person.
Kyouka subconsciously nuzzled into Yaoyorozu’s neck as she listened, making Yaoyorozu blush at the sudden—but not unwelcome—affection. In response, Yaoyorozu tentatively wrapped an arm around Kyouka, bringing them closer together. She affectionately nuzzled the top of Kyouka’s head.
“I admire his desire to improve himself and become the best, because it makes me want to become the best I could possibly be.”
“That’s so sweet Kirishima.” Hagakure cooed, bouncing in her seat. “I’m sure that if you tell him that, you’ll be able to confess your feelings.”
Kirishima gave her a weak smile. “Yeah… Maybe.”
Todoroki wordlessly leaned towards the table and plucked out a question, a rare smile spread across his normally blank face and an even rarer chuckle escaped his lips as he read the given question.
“What was one of the biggest misconceptions or understandings someone has had of you?”
He shared a glance with Yaoyorozu, and she started giggling uncontrollably, jostling Kyouka enough to make her look up in confusion.
“Why are you laughing?”
Todoroki rolled his eyes and turned to the rest of the confused class.
“I’m sure most of you know that this isn’t true, but one of the biggest misunderstandings someone has had of me was that Yaoyorozu and I are in a romantic relationship with each other.”
By now Yaoyorozu was laughing so hard that a few tears escaped her eyes. The sound of her mirthful laughter was one of the most beautiful sounds Kyouka has ever heard, and she was now determined to keep it ingrained in her mind. Smiling slightly, she patted Yaoyorozu’s back as her laughter quieted, breaths no longer frantic.
“My apologies, I didn’t mean to laugh so hard. But it’s just too funny for me, because the two of us are some of the biggest gay disasters to ever grace this planet.”
“What she said.” he chimed, wrapping an arm around Midoriya and leaning back into the couch. “No offense Yaoyorozu, but you are most definitely not my type.”
Yaoyorozu dissolved into giggles as she waved her hand at him. “I must agree with that statement.” She choked out, placing a hand on her chest to steady herself. “You aren’t my type either.”
Mina perked up and sat up more attentively. “Who is your type then Yaomomo?”
Yaoyorozu grabbed her teacup, sipping the rest of her tea down.
She sighed in satisfaction and placed it back on the table, a teasing smirk on her lips. “Hm… wonder who my type would be?” She then pulled Kyouka even closer in response.
Kaminari leapt up from his spot and ambled over to the bowl, an excited smile plastered on his face.
“Aww yis. My turn finally.” he said, snatching up a paper and sitting back down. He read the question and shot Kyouka a devious smirk, making her slightly wary of what that particular slip of paper had to offer.
“Heh. This one is funny.”
“What does it say?” Ojiro asked, leaning towards Kaminari to take a look at the question.
Kyouka did not like the devious glint in his eyes as he read the text.
“What is a random fact about your best friend that no one knows about?” Kaminari wiggled his eyebrows at her.
Dread dropped into her stomach as it dawned on Kyouka, her earphone jacks raised in alarm.
“Denki. Don’t you dare!” she hissed, sitting up and moving out of Yaoyorozu’s hold, much to both of their chagrin. “You promised me we wouldn’t speak about it ever again.”
“But Kyouka it’s hilarious! Plus, it might work in your favor…” he winked at her cheekily. “If you know what I mean.”
“What are you two even talking about?” Mina asked, head tilted in curiosity.
“Okay okay, so it’s something that happened when Kyouka and I were in middle school. I honestly don’t know why she hates it so much, because if it were me, I’d be bragging about it forever.”
Kyouka groaned and buried her burning face into her calloused hands, trying to block out Kaminari’s recount of their middle school days. Unfortunately for her, her quirk ended up being a curse instead of a blessing. “Denki, no. Stop now. This is embarrassing.”
Her childhood friend ignored her and continued his story with much pizzazz, to Kyouka’s humiliation.
“Kyouka had a reputation, but not in a bad way. Oh no.” He waved his finger back and forth at his captivated audience.
Although Yaoyorozu was against spilling secrets that someone didn’t want to share, she couldn’t help but be extremely interested in this hidden part of Kyouka. She wondered what was so embarrassing yet positive that it made Kaminari so eager to tell. Kyouka groaned as Kaminari ignored her pleas, and Yaoyorozu could tell she was extremely flustered and embarrassed from the way her earphone jacks twisted and curled in on themselves.
“Kyouka was known as the Ladykiller because she literally could get any girl to swoon if she used what they called, Cupid’s Arrow.”
All attention was focused on Kyouka now. She could feel their stares, and heard the soft hitch in Yaoyorozu’s breath.
“EHH?! JIROU REALLY?!” Hagakure squealed, instantly moving to Kyouka’s side and practically vibrating with excitement.
Kyouka wished the ground would open up and swallow her to escape this humiliation. She heard the rest of the girls crowd around her, groaning in exasperation for the umpteenth time that night. Kyouka felt a soft hand gently grip her wrist, slowly pulling her hand away from her face to uncover her scarlet face.
She shyly met Yaoyorozu’s eyes before looking at the rest of the girls, meeting their excited yet earnest gazes.
Uraraka twiddled her index fingers together, a nervous smile curing up as she spoke.
“I think I speak for all of us—the girls especially—when I say that we’re curious and want to see it for ourselves.”
“While it’s true, we don’t want to make you uncomfortable by forcing you to do it again. Kero, so if you are willing, we’d like to see it for ourselves.” Tsuyu chimed in for the first time that night. Her words placated Kyouka slightly, although she was still extremely embarrassed that the entire class knew this secret of hers.
Kyouka sighed and nodded reluctantly. She couldn’t help but smile when the rest of the girls cheered, excited to test this previously unknown side. She met Kaminari’s gaze and rolled her eyes at his shit eating grin, ignoring how he wiggled his eyebrows at her with another evil glint in his eyes.
“Hey Kyou, if you feel nervous, just do it with whoever you’re the most comfortable with.”
Almost immediately, Kyouka’s brain supplied Yaoyorozu, and she blushed, shaking her head to clear her head.
Mina hummed and placed her hands on Kyouka’s shoulders. “If it makes it easier for you, then you can do it on Yaomomo since you seem the most comfortable with her. Would that be okay?”
She saw Kaminari grin even wider when Mina said that, and she told herself to get payback on him later. Kyouka met Mina’s gaze and just gave her a timid smile. “Yeah. Okay.”
—
Kyouka told the rest of the girls to sit down while she brought Yaoyorozu to the nearest wall, gaining a few whistles that were most likely from Kaminari. She swore under her breath and turned back to Yaoyorozu, who looked just as anxious as Kyouak currently felt. Worried, Kyouka took her hand.
“Hey if you don’t wanna do this, then it’s okay.” she whispered. “It’s purely for everyone else’s amusement anyways.”
Yaoyorozu calmed herself down by taking a deep breath and shaking her head. “It’s okay. I’m alright. You can go ahead.”
Steeling her nerves, Kyouka moved Yaoyorozu so that she was standing a few centimeters away from the wall before she stepped back to set herself up. She could feel her heart pounding in anticipation and fear, afraid that she was going to screw up and embarrass herself even further. Yet one look at her girlfriend’s encouraging smile helped her push down the negative thoughts.
Kyouka took a deep breath and closed her eyes, focusing on the old Ladykiller aspect of herself that she hasn’t used in a while. She heard the rest of her peers whispering when she hadn’t done anything, but she blocked it out and focused on making Yaoyorozu melt into a puddle.
With another deep breath, her eyes opened. They were slightly half-lidded, making her gaze more alluring as she confidently stepped up to Yaoyorozu, her presence suddenly all commanding and tantalizing.
Yaoyorozu saw the shift with her own eyes, and she backed up slightly, surprised at how captivating Kyouka suddenly was. Her stomach clenched when she made eye contact with her, Kyouka’s eyes were now a deep indigo as she approached like a lioness stalking towards prey.
Kyouka backed Yaoyorozu into the wall, her hands planted against the wall on either side of Yaoyorozu’s head, effectively boxing her in. Yaoyorozu gasped softly when she hit the wall, her knees suddenly feeling weak as she stared deeply into the heavy, half lidded gaze of the Ladykiller. She swallowed audibly when Kyouka opened her mouth, completely transfixed on the immovable force that was this persona of her girlfriend.
“Heh... “
The voice that escaped Kyouka’s lips made all the girls shudder, even though it was just a single puff of air. Mina let out a soft whimper before she could clamp her hands over her mouth.
“You… like me, don’t you?”
Yaoyorozu was completely enamoured. Kyouka’s voice was heavy with seduction. The low, husky timbre made every fiber of her body burn hot, and made every hair on her body stand on end. Her normal voice was already husky to begin with, and when combined with the sensual presence with the Ladykiller persona, it was like a delightful sucker punch to Yaoyorozu’s ears, heart, and the heat that was pooling in her gut.
She inhaled shakily as Kyouka leaned in closer to her face, her throat becoming dry when she smirked. It was overwhelming; Yaoyorozu was already extremely attracted to Kyouka, and this entire ensemble was completely destroying her self control, making her extremely close to snapping and giving in to her needs. It took all of Yaoyorozu’s willpower to not let out a whimper as Kyouka’s breath tickled her chin. She felt a leg lightly nudge in-between hers.
“Answer me.”
The last strand of Yaoyorozu’s self control snapped. Her face erupted into a heavy flush, and a soft—albeit borderline erotic—moan escaped her throat as her knees wobbled. Uraraka squeaked and buried her face in her hands, inadvertently making herself float in the process. A high pitch squeal cut through the air, and Yaoyorozu was certain that Hagakure made that sound.
Kyouka hummed and leaned back slightly, her smile becoming downright predatory as her tongue ran over her teeth and lips, and Yaoyorozu was now an extremely, turned on mess. Her breathing was heavy and uneven, as if she had come back from a long run. Yaoyorozu stared into Kyouka’s half-lidded gaze, those eyes making the mess of her feelings coalesce into one: full blown desire.
“Shit…” she cursed, her body burning increasingly warmer.
Kyouka chuckled and leaned up to her ear, whispering so only she could hear.
“I guess I’ll just have to tell you all of the things I’ve been dying to do with you.”
Yaoyorozu keened and nearly fainted, swaying off balance enough to get Kyouka to break character. And just like that, the Ladykiller was gone. Then the cheering.
“Jirou, me next!” Hagakure chimed, waving her arm frantically in the air.
Tsuyu shyly pointed to herself and murmured, “Me too.”
On the other hand, Uraraka and Ashido were in a similar state to Yaoyorozu, only milder.
Mina was visibly shaking, arms over her head with a deep blush on her face. “I have opened a door I never should have opened… Holy shit… What the hell… Oh my god…”
Uraraka was still floating, breathing heavily as she muttered, “Not good. Not good. Not good...” under her breath.
Some of the boys were cheering, and Kyouka just flushed under all of the attention. However, she was mainly worried about Yaoyorozu, who was still swaying dangerously off-balance.
“Oh-kay… I think I’m gonna take Momo back… She doesn’t seem to be okay.”
As they left, Kyouka could hear Kaminari cheering and shouting, but she flinched when she heard him say: “MY BEST FRIEND IS GETTING LAID!”
If her face wasn’t red before, it definitely was now.
—
Yaoyorozu eventually put the pieces of her obliterated mind back together, but she was undeniably still affected by what had just transpired as she kept shifting uncomfortably on their way back to the dorms.
“You know what,” Kyouka said, “let’s just go to my room.”
Somewhat dazed, Yaoyorozu followed Kyouka into her room, only snapping out of her daze when she heard the door lock. Just as she was about to speak, Kyouka’s arms wrapped around her waist as she leaned up on her toes to whisper in her ear.
“I’m not done with you yet Momo…”
The heat that had just barely cooled down flared up with intense vengeance.
